The Buck Hill Covered Bridge, Eichelberger's Covered Bridge, or Abram Hess' Mill Bridge is a burr arch-truss style covered bridge located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located on the Buck Hill Farm's pond on private property.The bridge's WGCB Number is 38-36-15. In 1980 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as structure number 80003528. It is located on private property.The bridge is one of only 3 covered bridges in the county with horizontal side boards.

Manheim Township is a township in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established in 1729. The township's southernmost border meets the city limits of Lancaster and includes the communities of Neffsville, Dillerville, and Landis Valley. Its population, as of the 2020 census, was 43,977 making it the second largest municipality in the county after Lancaster City.

It is the only high school in the Manheim Township School District. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,863 students and 113.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 16.41:1. There were 443 students (23.8% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and a further 36 eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Lancaster, the county seat, is 4.5 miles (7.2 km) to the south, and Lititz is 4 miles (6 km) to the north. Pennsylvania Route 722 leads west 3 miles (5 km) to East Petersburg and east 3 miles (5 km) to Pennsylvania Route 272 at Oregon. Manheim Township School District serves 5,400 students with 637 employees, 423 of them holding teaching certificates. Manheim Township High School on School Road is considered to be in Neffsville.

Manheim Township School District is a suburban, public school district of over 5,000 students in nine schools located in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The district is well known in the Lancaster County region for its academic achievement, popular quiz bowl team, “Prison Yard” courtyard, and Manheim Township Performing Arts. The district draws students from a single eponymous township of approximately 23 square miles (60 km2), with over 13,400 residential dwellings, and about 31,300 residents as of 2006. The district's public school population of almost 6,000 students in kindergarten through twelfth grades is distributed over twenty-four school buildings: there are six elementary schools (grades K-4), a single 5th and 6th-grade building, one middle school (grades 7 & 8), and one high school (grades 9-12). The district students are 67% white, 9% Asian, 5% black, 13% Hispanic, and 7% Multi-racial. Manheim Township High School finished construction in 2008. The district's Manheim Township Landis Run Intermediate finished construction in 2012. The Mannheim Township Middle School finished construction in 2021 and has a large courtyard affectionately named by the students as “The Prison Yard.”The district's colors are blue and white. A traditional rival of the district is Warwick.

The Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum is a 100-acre living history museum located on the site of a former rural crossroads village in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Founded by brothers Henry K. Landis and George Landis in 1925 and incorporated in 1941, it is now operated by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Its staff and volunteers collect, conserve, exhibit, and interpret Pennsylvania German material, culture, history and heritage from 1740 through 1940.

The Hess Homestead, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, is a historic Mennonite farmstead near the town of Lititz. The property is an ancestral home of the Hess family, who purchased the land from William Penn's sons in 1735. The primary buildings at this site were constructed by the Hess family in the 18th century, including a 1740s log farmhouse, a 1778 stone farmhouse, and a 1769 oil mill. Both houses served as church meeting houses for the local Mennonite community until 1856, when the first Hess Mennonite church building was constructed nearby. The homestead structures survive today, on several adjoining properties, as examples of vernacular architecture of the Pennsylvania Germans.

Lititz is a borough in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States, 9 miles (14 km) north of the city of Lancaster. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 9,370.

The Sturgis Pretzel House of Lititz, Pennsylvania, founded in 1861, is the oldest commercial pretzel bakery in the United States. The Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery remains active in pretzel production and is a tourist attraction.

On May 12, 2007, Alec Kreider, a 16-year-old high school student at the time, murdered his classmate and friend Kevin Haines, his father Thomas Haines, and mother Lisa Haines in their home in Manheim Township, Pennsylvania. Kreider was arrested a month later on June 16, 2007 and was charged with three counts of first degree murder. He pleaded guilty to all charges, and was subsequently convicted on all three counts and sentenced to three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole. Kreider later became eligible for a re-sentencing hearing following the United States Supreme Court's 2012 decision in Miller v. Alabama, which held that mandatory sentences of life without the possibility of parole are unconstitutional for juvenile offenders. On January 20, 2017, Kreider died by suicide by hanging himself in his prison cell, before the resentencing hearing was scheduled.
