Algeciras Municipal Library (Spanish: biblioteca municipal de Algeciras) is a public library network in Algeciras, Spain. Its headquarters are at the Biblioteca Cristóbal Delgado (Library Christopher Delgado), located on Salvador Allende Street. There are two branches, including one in the Saladillo neighborhood, Biblioteca El Saladillo, and another in the La Granja neighborhood, Biblioteca Pérez Petinto. In addition to its book collection and reference materials, the institution offers a variety of cultural activities such as a book club. The library is run by the municipality. It was established in 1925 by the local historian Manuel Pérez-Petinto y Costa.

Plaza de toros de Las Palomas, officially Monumental Las Palomas, is a bullring in Algeciras at the southern end of Spain. The current building was built in 1969 and it can hold over 11,000 spectators.

The Royal Fair of Algeciras (Spanish: Feria Real de Algeciras) is the most important annual festival in the Spanish city of Algeciras, held in June each year. Since it was established in 1850 as a cattle market, the fair and the fairground in which it is held have become popular attractions for the people of Algeciras and the surrounding towns of the Campo de Gibraltar. It has moved several times since its establishment and is now held in the Las Colinas area, where Algeciras's Las Palomas bullring is also located.

Pabellón Ciudad de Algeciras-Doctor Juan Carlos Mateo is an arena in Algeciras, Spain. It is primarily used for team handball and is the home arena of Algeciras BM. The arena holds 2,300 people. Initially named as only Ciudad de Algeciras, on 10 May 2017, the pavilion changed its denomination by adding the name of Doctor Juan Carlos Mateo.

Ermita Sagrado Corazón de Jesús is a Christian church in the western outskirts of Algeciras, Spain, situated just to the northwest of Bahia Park across the main highway to Málaga. The Málaga branch of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús had been established in the early 1920s. The church is noted for its involvement in nativity contests.

Bahia Park is a water park in the north of Algeciras, Southwest Spain, situated next to highway N-340. To the east of the park is the Bay of Gibraltar (Bay of Algeciras).

Paseo Cornisa is a park in Algeciras, Spain. It was inaugurated in May 2007. It stretches for just over a kilometre between Punta del Cementerio and Punta del Almirante in the north of the city near the old cemetery and parallel to the Playa del Barranco and Playa de El Rinconcillo. The park has an area of over 20,000 square metres (220,000 sq ft). Within the park is the Torre del Almirante or Admiral's Tower which dates from the 14th century. In the eighteenth century La Almiranta Battery was near the tower and its role was to defend the city of Algeciras. It worked with the other coastal batteries to defend the area during the Battle of Algeciras in 1801. This battery was partially destroyed by a magazine explosion in the nineteenth century which also damaged the tower. During the Spanish Civil War the battery was used as a place for machine guns. Nearby was an area that was used by firing squads.

Playa de Los Ladrillos is a beach in the municipality of Algeciras, southeastern Spain. It overlooks the Bay of Algeciras, next to Playa del Barranco. It is about 200 metres in length.

Plaza de Andalucía is a plaza in Algeciras, Spain. It is located close to the historic centre of the city, just south of the Kursaal, and adjacent to two major roads, the Cadiz-Malaga Road and Avenida de Blas Infante. In 2007 it was remodeled to house a shopping mall, business offices and subterranean car park. The Metropolitan Transportation Consortium Gibraltar, regulator of public transport in the county, and municipal television station Onda Algeciras are based in the Plaza de Andalucía.

Torre del Almirante (English: Tower of the admiral) is a tower located in Algeciras, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1985.The date of this tower is unknown and it pre-dates many other towers that were built around the Bay of Gibraltar and south of Algeciras as batteries and watchtowers. This tower was used by the Admiral Egidio Boccanegra in the 14th century during the Siege of Algeciras (1342-1344). The tower appears on a map of 1608 and it was improved after 1704 following the Capture of Gibraltar when the enclave was seen as a potential beachhead for British forces. The tower was put to good use during the Battle of Algeciras in 1801. The tower was then the base for four 24-pounder guns which guarded the northern approach to Algeciras. The tower was used for machine guns during the 20th century. The ruins are now integrated into the park known as Paseo Cornisa.

Campo de Gibraltar (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈkampo ðe xiβɾalˈtaɾ]) is a comarca (county) in the province of Cádiz, Spain, in the southwestern part of the autonomous community of Andalusia, the southernmost part of mainland Europe. It comprises the municipalities of Algeciras, La Línea de la Concepción, San Roque, Los Barrios, Castellar de la Frontera, Jimena de la Frontera and Tarifa. Its name comes from the municipal term of the town of Gibraltar, now a British Overseas Territory. Until 1704, the Campo de Gibraltar was simply the term for the municipality of Gibraltar, about 500 km2 corresponding approximately to the current municipalities of Algeciras, San Roque, Los Barrios and La Línea de la Concepción. Following the capture of Gibraltar during the War of the Spanish Succession the former inhabitants settled nearby creating Algeciras, San Roque, and Los Barrios.
