Wolley Stille, also known as the Joseph Sharpless House, is an historic, American home that is located in Wallingford, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Chester Friends Meetinghouse is a Quaker meeting house at 520 East 24th Street in Chester, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. The first recorded meeting of Friends in the province of Pennsylvania was in Chester at the house of Robert Wade in 1675. William Edmundson, the founder of Quakerism in Ireland was present at the first meeting.In 1682, the Chester Friends agreed to hold their meeting at the Chester Court House, also known at the time as the House of Defense.On January 7, 1687, a lot was purchased on the west side of present-day Edgemont Avenue and construction began on the meetinghouse.The first Chester Friends Meetinghouse was completed in 1693.William Penn was known to speak at the original Chester Friends meetinghouse.In 1735, after forty-three years of worship at the original building, a larger meetinghouse was built on the same property.The existing buildings have 1829 and 1954 represented on them indicating the date of construction of the current buildings. The Chester Friends meetinghouse is an active worship center.

It is the second African Methodist Episcopal church founded in Chester behind the Union African Methodist Church in 1832. Asbury AME Church is located at 1712 Providence Avenue and is an active worship center.

The John P. Crozer II Mansion, also known as the Allcutt Property, is an historic American mansion that is located in Upland, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Crozer Arboretum, now the Crozer Garden, is a 12-acre (49,000 m2) arboretum and garden park located at 1 Medical Center Boulevard, Upland, Pennsylvania. The grounds are open daily; admission is free. The park was formerly the campus of the Crozer Theological Seminary, the buildings of the seminary are currently used as office space by the Crozer-Chester Medical Center. The arboretum features large specimen trees dating from the mid-19th century, more than 1,400 rhododendrons, native herbaceous plants and shrubs, lawns, two ponds, natural springs, and walkways. The campus also features the 10-acre (40,000 m2) Leona Gold Garden and Crozer Greenhouse.

The Crozer Theological Seminary was a Baptist seminary located in Upland, Pennsylvania. Martin Luther King Jr. was a student at Crozer Theological Seminary from 1948 to 1951, and graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity degree. In 1970, the seminary merged with the Rochester Theological Seminary, forming the Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in Rochester, New York and the Old Main building was subsequently used as office space by Crozer Hospital (now part of the Crozer-Chester Medical Center.) The Old Main building is a three-story, "F"-shaped, stucco coated stone building with three pavilions connected by a corridor with flanking rooms. Each of the pavilions is topped by a gable roof and cupola, the largest cupola being on the central pavilion. The seminary's grounds are now the Crozer Arboretum. The Old Main building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

WDNR (89.5 FM, "Widener's Best") was a college radio station in Chester, Pennsylvania, licensed to Widener University. The station used to broadcast a wide variety of music and could also be listened to on the Internet via an online stream. WDNR marked its 40th anniversary in 2008. On August 29, 2014, the FCC cancelled WDNR's license, after the university decided to no longer operate the station.

The Old Main and Chemistry Building are two connected, historic, American buildings that were erected in 1867 and 1883 and are presently located on the campus of Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. Both buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Upland is a borough in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. Upland is governed by an elected seven-member borough council. The population was 3,239 at the 2010 census, up from 2,974 at the 2000 census.

Widener University is a private university in Chester, Pennsylvania. The university has three other campuses: two in Pennsylvania (Harrisburg and Exton) and one in Wilmington, Delaware. Founded as The Bullock School for Boys in 1821, the school was established in Wilmington, Delaware. It became The Alsop School for Boys from 1846 to 1853, and then Hyatt's Select School for Boys from 1853 to 1859. Military instruction was introduced in 1858, and the school changed its name in 1859 to Delaware Military Academy. It moved to Pennsylvania in 1862 and became Chester County Military Academy. It was known as Pennsylvania Military College after 1892 and adopted the Widener name in 1972. About 3,300 undergraduates and 3,300 graduate students attend Widener in eight degree-granting schools. The university offers associate, baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral degrees in areas ranging from traditional liberal arts to professional programs. It is classified among "Doctoral/Professional Universities" and a "Community Engagement Institution".
