As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 3,343, a decrease of 39 (−1.2%) from the 2010 census count of 3,382, which in turn reflected a decline of 8 (−0.2%) from the 3,390 counted at the 2000 census.Haworth was formed by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 24, 1904, from portions of both Dumont borough and Harrington Township. The borough was named for the historic village of Haworth, England.In September 2012, Business Insider named Haworth the third-best suburb in America.

Dumont is a borough in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 17,863, an increase of 384 (+2.2%) from the 2010 census count of 17,479, which in turn reflected a decrease of 24 (−0.1%) from the 17,503 counted in the 2000 census.The borough was originally formed on July 20, 1891, as the Borough of Schraalenburgh from portions of Harrington Township and Palisades Township, based on the results of a referendum held the previous day. The borough was formed during the "Boroughitis" phenomenon then sweeping through Bergen County, in which 26 boroughs were formed in the county in 1894 alone. On March 7, 1898, portions of the borough were annexed to Palisades Township. On June 13, 1898, the borough's name was changed to Dumont in honor of Dumont Clarke, the borough's first mayor.

Palisades Township was a township that existed in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The township was in existence from 1871 to 1922. On March 22, 1871, Hackensack Township was divided into three parts that were incorporated as townships by the New Jersey Legislature, each stretching from the Hudson River on the east to the Hackensack River in the west: The northernmost portion was Palisades Township; The center strip was Englewood Township; and, The southernmost portion became Ridgefield Township.The new Township was quickly subdivided. The implementation by the New Jersey Legislature of a new Borough Act served to encourage the creation of new municipalities, most formed from portions of two (or more) Townships. Palisades Township survived for a half century after this new legislation, and the case of "Boroughitis" it fomented. In 1894, five boroughs were created from within Palisades Township (and portions of other townships, as indicated): Tenafly (January 24, 1894), Delford (March 8, 1894, now Oradell; also included portions of Harrington Township), Cresskill (May 11, 1894), Bergenfield (June 26, 1894, also created from portions of Englewood Township) and Schraalenburgh (July 20, 1894, changed name to Dumont in 1928; also included portions of Harrington Township). On May 10, 1895, Englewood Cliffs was created from sections of both Englewood Township and Palisades Township. Demarest was formed on April 8, 1903, from portions of both Palisades and Harrington Townships.On March 7, 1898, portions of the Borough of Schraalenburgh were annexed to the township.On March 11, 1922, New Milford was formed from the remaining portions of Palisades Township. With the creation of the Borough of New Milford, Palisades Township was dissolved.

Re-designed by the golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 2000, the course length is 7000 yards. The course has five sets of tees and over four acres of teeing ground. Other amenities include grass driving range, seven indoor tennis courts, gourmet restaurant, bar, and meeting rooms. Haworth Country Club is located 10.5 miles from the George Washington Bridge, and is in a deciduous forest behind the reservoir.

Schraalenburgh North Church, also known as North Church and as The Old North Reformed Church or Old Reformed Church, was founded in 1801 as a Dutch Reformed Church, in present-day Dumont, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The congregation was made up of those who originally were members of the South Schraalenburgh Church.The cemetery contains burials of parishioners up to 1911, and a list of interments has been transcribed on the Internet by Bob Winship. As "North Church", the church was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 26, 1983.
