Pete's Paradise Cave

The Moorish Wall, also known as the Philip II Wall and formerly the Muralla de San Reymondo (English: St. Raymond's Wall) is a defensive curtain wall built in the 16th century that formed part of the southern fortifications of the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. It was completed by 1575. The wall ran from the top of a steep cliff above the lower section of the Charles V Wall up the slope of the Rock of Gibraltar to its crest, north of the upper section of the Charles V Wall and is now within the Upper Rock Nature Reserve.

Genoese Batteries are a pair of artillery batteries in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. The Upper and Lower Genoese Batteries defended the south front of Gibraltar together with the Flat Bastion, South Bastion, Prince Ferdinand's Battery and Healy's Mortar. They were originally built by the Moors or Spanish but added to by the British in the 18th century.The Upper Genoese Battery was originally known as the Reduto de San Agustin. The Lower Genoese Battery was called the Reduto de San Philipe.

Ragged Staff Cave is a cave bordering the harbour in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. The cave was converted into Ragged Staff Magazine in 1901.

The Flat Bastion Magazine is a 19th-century magazine in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. It is located within the Flat Bastion, a fortification that projects from the 16th century Charles V Wall at the former southern limit of the city. Flat Bastion Road extends through the bastion, just to the west of the magazine, south of which it becomes Gardiner's Road. Flat Bastion Magazine was constructed to store gunpowder, but eventually lay abandoned for years. While the Government of Gibraltar initially planned to develop it for parking, geology enthusiast Freddie Gomez and a colleague restored the building, which is now used as a geological research facility and exhibition centre. Both the Flat Bastion and the Flat Bastion Magazine are listed with the Gibraltar Heritage Trust. In addition, Gomez received the 2001 Heritage Award for the restoration of the building.

Gardiner's Battery is an artillery battery in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. It is named after the governor Sir Robert Gardiner.

Flat Bastion is a bastion which projects southward from the Charles V Wall in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. Once known as the St. Jago's Bastion or the Baluarte de Santiago in Spanish, the fortification was built by the Spanish in the mid 16th century and formed part of the southern defences of the city of Gibraltar, together with Charles V Wall, Southport Gates, Southport Ditch, and South Bastion. In 1859, six guns, four 12-pounders and two 12-pound carronades, were installed on the bastion, and four years later, five 32-pounders were mounted on the fortification. Flat Bastion takes its name from the angle that its south-facing walls form with each other and with the Charles V Wall. Within the eastern portion of Flat Bastion is Flat Bastion Magazine. The bastion and magazine within it are separately listed with the Gibraltar Heritage Trust. The magazine has been restored and converted into a research facility.

Originally from the Atlas Mountains and the Rif Mountains of Morocco, the Barbary macaque population in Gibraltar is the only wild monkey population on the European continent. Although most Barbary monkey populations in Africa are experiencing decline due to hunting and deforestation, the Gibraltar population is increasing. As of 2020, some 300 animals in five troops occupy the Upper Rock area of the Gibraltar Nature Reserve, though they make occasional forays into the town. As they are a tailless species, they are also known locally as Barbary apes or rock apes, despite being classified as monkeys (Macaca sylvanus). Spanish speakers simply refer to them as monos (English: monkeys) when conversing in Spanish, although English is the native language as the area is a British overseas territory.

Prince Ferdinand's Battery was an artillery battery in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. Today the area is known as the Apes' Den and is the main location for tourists to see Barbary macaques in Gibraltar.

Prince Edward's Gate is a city gate at the entrance to Prince Edward's Road in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. It cuts through Charles V Wall, one of the 16th century fortifications of Gibraltar at the former southern limit of the city. The gate is adjacent to the west wall of the Flat Bastion, another 16th-century fortification. The gate was named after Prince Edward, the future Duke of Kent, and was opened in 1790, the same year the prince arrived at Gibraltar as commander of the 7th Regiment of Foot (Royal Fusiliers). While the gate now has a limited role in the defence of Gibraltar, it continues to provide vehicular and pedestrian access through Charles V Wall. Prince Edward's Gate is listed with the Gibraltar Heritage Trust.

Queen's Road is the longest road in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. It runs north-south through the Upper Rock Nature Reserve on the Rock of Gibraltar. It forks into Old Queen's Road which runs almost parallel with it for some part. The narrow road is halfway up the Rock and overlooks the Bay of Gibraltar. St. Michael's Cave lies off this road on Spur Battery Road. This is a large show cave featuring stalactites and stalagmites and an auditorium large enough to take orchestras. Also of note, apart from the nature reserve, are the Great Siege Tunnels at the northern end.

Queen's Gate is a city gate in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. A large population of Barbary macaques reside in this area, making it a major tourist attraction. Most of the macaques sleep within an area of 9 hectares (22 acres) around the Queen's Gate.The gate was created by breaching the Charles V Wall in about 1790. The wall itself is much older and was constructed in 1540 at the command of Philip II of Spain. The gate is just above Prince Ferdinand's Battery, now known as Ape's Den. Inglis Way, one of the walks within the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, starts at this gate. During World War II Queen's Gate Battery was the site of two 6 inch guns. These guns could fire over 6,000 yards.

The Rock Hotel, also known as Rock Hotel, is a historic hotel in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. It has been described as "one of the Mediterranean's most famous hotels," and as "an institution in Gibraltar and the Mediterranean." Built in 1932 by John Crichton-Stuart, 4th Marquess of Bute, the hotel is set in a 3.6-hectare (8.9-acre) landscaped garden and contains 104 rooms. It is located in a large white Art Deco building along Europa Road, overlooking the Gibraltar Botanic Gardens.
