Grunwald Bridge (Polish: Most Grunwaldzki) is a suspension bridge over the river Oder in Wrocław, Poland, built between 1908 and 1910. Initially the bridge was called the Imperial Bridge (Kaiserbrücke), then the Bridge of Freedom (Freiheitsbrücke). The architectural design of the bridge was by a city councilor, Richard Plüddemann. The bridge opened on 10 October 1910 in the presence of Emperor Wilhelm II. It is one of the longest bridges of its kind in Poland, being 112.5 meters long, 18 meters wide, and weighing 2.3 thousand tons. It was constructed of Silesian granite. The bridge was damaged during World War II but by September 1947 it was repaired and reopened. Presently, the national road 98 and a tram line runs across the bridge.

The Oława (German: Ohle) is a left-bank tributary of the Oder River, 99.01 km long with a catchment area of 1167.4 km2.

Oławski Bridge (Polish: Most Oławski) is a road bridge over the Oława River in Wrocław, Poland. It was also known as Mauritius Brücke or Margarethenbrücke (German), St. Mauritius Bridge (English), and (cattle drive bridge). It was constructed during 1882–1883 and was designed by Alexander Kaumann, with assistance from Eger and Reichelt, Beer, Wackwitz and Hoffmann. Before the construction of the Oławski Bridge, there was a footbridge that was used to drive cattle across the Oława, and for a time the bridge was called the Wygonowy Bridge (cattle drive bridge; Polish: Most Wygonowy). The bridge is adorned with sculptural elements made by P. Heisler under the direction of Robert Toberentza and in collaboration with Heinrich Weltringa. The metal decorative elements were made by Gustav Trelenberg. In 1962 and 1990 the bridge was completely renovated. The bridge is constructed using brick arches and supports, covered with stone blocks (blows) decorated with a hammered texture. The railings are ornate, with baluster elements modeled on the iconography of Baroque architecture. The total length of the bridge is 73.8 meters (242 feet), and its total width is 14.12 meters (46 feet). The roadway surface on the bridge is made of granite blocks. Before World War II, a tram line ran across the bridge; it was removed during renovation of the track.

Peace Bridge ((in Polish) Most Pokoju) is located in Wrocław, Poland and was built from 1954 to 1959. It spans over 124 metres and was designed by professor Jan Kmita. At first it was known as Wojewódzki Bridge, but was renamed the "Peace Bridge" in 1966. Before World War II, there was another bridge in the same place, named after the German philosopher and poet Gotthold Ephraim Lessing ("Lessingbrücke"). It was made of iron, built in 1875, and lasted until 1945, when it was bombarded during the Siege of Breslau. Currently, the bridge is used both for pedestrian and road traffic and is an important link between the Northern and Southern parts of Wrocław.

The National Museum in Wrocław (Polish: Muzeum Narodowe we Wrocławiu), established 28 March 1947 and officially inaugurated on 11 July 1948, is one of Poland's main branches of the National Museum system. It holds one of the largest collections of contemporary art in the country.

The Silesian Museum of Fine Arts in Breslau (German: Schlesisches Museum für bildende Künste in Breslau) was an art museum located on Museum Square in Breslau, Prussia. The museum was operating from 1880 to 1945, when it burned down after the bombing.

Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Polish: Politechnika Wrocławska is a technological university in Wrocław, Poland. With buildings and infrastructures dispersed throughout the city, its main facilities are gathered at a central location near Plac Grunwaldzki, alongside the Oder river. It operates three regional branches in Jelenia Góra, Legnica, and Wałbrzych. Huffington Post UK named Wrocław University of Science and Technology in the top 15 of the World’s Most Beautiful Universities Rankings.

Hydropolis, or the Hydropolis Centre for Ecological Education (Polish: Centrum Edukacji Ekologicznej „Hydropolis”), is a science centre dedicated to water, located in Wrocław, Poland. Its exhibitions use a variety of technology to teach visitors about the role of water in the environment, its importance to humans, and the history of human interactions with water.The centre is located in a 4600 m² historic neo-Gothic underground reservoir, which had been used for drinking water from the time of its construction in the 1890s. The facility was owned by the city's Municipal Water and Sewage Company (Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji). It was added to the register of monuments in 2002. In 2011 the reservoir was taken out of use, and renovated to create Hydropolis, which opened in 2015.According to its website, "Hydropolis is a place where diverse multimedia technologies, interactive installations, faithful replicas and models, as well as touch screens providing extensive information, serve one purpose - to show water from various fascinating perspectives." The exhibition consists of a series of thematic areas: The Planet of Water, The Depths, The Ocean of Life, Relaxation Zone, Man and Water, The History of Water Engineering, The City and Water, The States of Water, along with a children's zone and a temporary exhibition zone. The centre is fully accessible for people with disabilities. In addition to the exhibition, Hydropolis offers educational workshops for children from kindergarten through secondary school age.

The Archdiocese of Wrocław (Polish: Archidiecezja wrocławska; German: Erzbistum Breslau; Czech: Arcidiecéze vratislavská; Latin: Archidioecesis Vratislaviensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or archdiocese of the Catholic Church centered in the city of Wrocław in Poland. From its founding as a bishopric in 1000 until 1821, it was under the Archbishopric of Gniezno in Greater Poland. From 1821 to 1930 it was subjected directly to the Apostolic See. Between 1821 and 1972 it was officially known as (Arch)Diocese of Breslau.

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Wrocław (Polish: Archikatedra św. Jana Chrzciciela, German: Breslauer Dom, Kathedrale St. Johannes des Täufers) is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Wrocław and a landmark of the city of Wrocław in Poland. The cathedral, located in the Ostrów Tumski district, is a Gothic church with Neo-Gothic additions. The current standing cathedral is the fourth church to have been built on the site. Along with the Old Town of Wrocław, it is designated a Historic Monument of Poland.

The Racławice Panorama (Polish: Panorama Racławicka) is a monumental (15 × 114 meter) cycloramic painting depicting the Battle of Racławice, during the Kościuszko Uprising. It is located in Wrocław, Poland. The painting is one of only a few preserved relics of a genre of 19th-century mass culture, and the oldest in Poland. The panorama stands in a circular fashion and, with the viewer in the center, presents different scenes at various viewing angles. A special kind of perspective used in the painting and additional effects (lighting, artificial terrain) create a feeling of reality.

Plac Grunwaldzki (Grunwald Square, named for the Battle of Grunwald) is a former square, currently a major street and important transit point in Wrocław, Poland. The nearby universities (Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, some departments of University of Wrocław) and their dormitories make it one of the centres of student life in Wrocław. The central portion of Plac Grunwaldzki has been redeveloped in 2006-2007 into a large oval-shaped roundabout with a major public transport hub in its centre.
