Legnaro is a comune in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Venice and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) southeast of Padua. As of 31 December, 2010, it had a population of 8,594 and an area of 14.89 square kilometres (5.75 sq mi).

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 12,656 and an area of 13.5 square kilometres (5.2 sq mi).The municipality of Ponte San Nicolò contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Roncaglia, Roncajette, and Rio. Ponte San Nicolò borders the following municipalities: Albignasego, Casalserugo, Legnaro, Padua, Polverara. The mayor is Martino Schiavon, who was elected on 2019 with a centre-left coalition as his predecessors.

The Reversed-Field eXperiment (RFX) is the largest reversed field pinch device presently in operation, situated in Padua, Italy. It was constructed from 1985 to 1991, and has been in operation since 1992.The experiments carried out in the last two decades with two large RFP machines (MST in Madison, Wisconsin and RFX in Padova) provided new insight on the physical phenomena taking place in magnetically confined plasma dynamics.

The ITER Neutral Beam Test Facility is a part of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) in Padova, Veneto, Italy. The facility will host the full-scale prototype of the reactor's neutral beam injector, MITICA (Megavolt ITer Injector & Concept Advancement), and a smaller prototype of its ion source, SPIDER (Source for the Production of Ions of Deuterium Extracted from a Radio frequency plasma). SPIDER started its operation in June 2018. SPIDER will be used to optimize the ion beam source, to optimize the use of cesium vapor, and to verify the uniformity of the extracted ion beam also during long pulses.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,525 and an area of 15.5 square kilometres (6.0 sq mi).Casalserugo borders the following municipalities: Albignasego, Bovolenta, Cartura, Maserà di Padova, Polverara, Ponte San Nicolò.

Sant'Angelo di Piove di Sacco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) west of Venice and about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) east of Padua. As of 31 August 2021, it had a population of 7,283 and an area of 14.0 square kilometres (5.4 sq mi).The municipality of Sant'Angelo di Piove di Sacco contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Vigorovea and Celeseo. Sant'Angelo di Piove di Sacco borders the following municipalities: Brugine, Campolongo Maggiore, Fossò, Legnaro, Piove di Sacco, Saonara, Vigonovo.

The Villa Giovannelli Colonna is a rural palace located in Noventa Padovana, in the region of the Veneto near Padua, northern Italy, which once was famous for its splendid decorations. The villa was commissioned in the late 17th century by the Giovanelli family to the architect Antonio Gaspari. In 1738, on the occasion of Maria Amalia of Saxony, the daughter of the Polish king Augustus II the Strong visiting the villa, who had been married to King Charles of Naples and Sicily, the future Charles III of Spain, Andrea Giovanelli and his brother Benedetto decorated the facade of the Villa with the festive portico and a precious entrance stairway by Giorgio Massari. On the balustrades are six allegorical statues representing the five senses: the Belvedere (sight/male), Il Odorato (smell/male), Il Tatto (touch/female), L'Udire (hearing/female), Il Gusto (taste/female) which are observed by La Ragione (top right). They were executed by Antonio Tarsia, Antonio Gai and by the brothers Paolo and Giuseppe Groppelli. The interior is frescoed by Sebastiano Ricci and Giuseppe Angeli, who also did the frescos in Villa Widmann-Foscari. The frescos were changed when Federico Giovanelli, Patriarch of Venice, took over the villa. His brothers Giovanni Benedetto and Giovanni Paolo Giovannelli commissioned two large canvases by Luca Carlevarijs. The gardens consist of labyrinths and designs.

Brugine is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 40 km (25 miles) west of Venice and about 16 km (10 miles) southeast of Padua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,579 and an area of 19.6 km².The municipality of Brugine contains the frazione (subdivision) Campagnola. Brugine borders the following municipalities: Bovolenta, Legnaro, Piove di Sacco, Polverara, Pontelongo, Sant'Angelo di Piove di Sacco. In Brugine was born an Italian clothing designer Renzo Rosso.

Kioene Arena (formerly known as Palasport San Lazzaro, PalaBernhardsson, PalaNet and PalaFabris) is an indoor sports arena located in Padua, Italy. The arena has a seating capacity of 3,916 for volleyball and is primarily used for basketball, futsal and handball. It also hosts live concerts. The Forum is the home floor of the professional volleyball team Pallavolo Padova.
