Johnsonville, Indiana

Williams Chapel is a small non-denominational Christian church in the village of Johnsonville in Warren County, Indiana. It is distinctive for the carved wooden hand pointing skyward from its steeple and for its handmade stained glass windows. The church was built in 1966 by local minister Rev. Grover C. Williams, Jr. with help from many others in the community. His wife, Rev. Mildred A. Williams, was the chapel's minister and pastor from its founding in 1966 until her death in 2005, with the exception of seven years in the 1980s when Glenn Wesley of Attica led the congregation. The hand on the steeple was made by Grover Williams at the time the church was built, and was inspired by the steeple of the First Presbyterian Church in Port Gibson, Mississippi. The stained glass windows were made by Mildred Williams in the 1980s.

Steuben Township is one of twelve townships in Warren County, Indiana, United States. It was established in 1834. According to the 2020 census, its population was 493 and it contained 191 housing units. It contains no incorporated towns and is largely agricultural.

Marshfield is a small unincorporated community in Steuben Township, Warren County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.

Chesapeake was the first town in Steuben Township, Warren County, Indiana, which was formed in 1834. It was located about two miles east of present-day town of Marshfield and was the site of the first meetings of the township trustees in the 1830s. County Agent Luther Tillotson lived south of the town and may have had some involvement in its creation. Chesapeake consisted of at least several houses, a country store operated by William Newell and Thomas Washburn, and a blacksmith shop. There was also a school house there named for the town for many years, but this also is gone. Little else is known of Chesapeake and there is no record of a town platting. An 1883 history of the county notes that "comparatively nothing can be learned regarding this little town... The village began early and then died early, as good-looking babies are said to do."

Dresser was a small town in Steuben Township, Warren County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. It was founded shortly before the turn of the 20th century and consisted of several residences and a post office. The post office operated only from 1899 to 1903. The town was named after Paul Dresser, the American songwriter who wrote "On the Banks of the Wabash, Far Away" (which became Indiana's state song); Harvey Porter Layton, the first postmaster, had met Dresser at the Hotel Mudlavia and was so impressed with the man that he named the town after him.

WRHK 94.9 FM is a radio station broadcasting a classic rock format. Licensed to Danville, Illinois, the station is owned by Neuhoff Corp., through licensee Neuhoff Media Danville, LLC. On February 1, 2024, Neuhoff Media sold radio stations in Danville and Decatur IL to Champaign Multimedia Group for $2 million and has since closed in May 2024.

State Line City is a town in Kent Township, Warren County, Indiana, United States, situated along the state's boundary with Illinois. As of the 2010 census, the town population was 143.

Illiana is an unincorporated community in Newell Township, Vermilion County, Illinois, United States. In this area, State Line Road runs along the border between Illinois and Indiana; Illiana is just across the road from the town of State Line City in Warren County in Indiana. The name is a portmanteau of Illinois and Indiana.

Baltimore was a small town built on the western banks of the Wabash River in Mound Township, Warren County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.

Mound Township is one of twelve townships in Warren County, Indiana, United States. According to the 2020 census, its population was 407 and it contained 199 housing units.

WKZS (103.1 FM, "Kiss Country") is a radio station broadcasting a country music format. Licensed to Covington, Indiana, United States, the station serves the immediate Danville, Illinois area. The station also maintains a sales office in Champaign, Illinois. The station is currently owned by Benton-Weatherford Broadcasting, Inc., of Indiana and features programming from Dial Global's Hot Country format. In 2012, the station obtained a construction permit from the FCC to relocate its city of license to Thomasboro, Illinois, and to move to 103.3 MHz. This would have moved the station into the Champaign-Urbana radio market, but the station owners were unable to complete the move. In 2015, Benton-Weatherford applied for another construction permit, explaining they had not been able to complete WKZS' move to Thomasboro due to health and technical challenges. The construction permit was granted, but expired in 2018, with the new Thomasboro station still unbuilt. The station remains licensed to Covington as of April 2020.
