CEPT University, formerly the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology, is an academic institution located near university area in Ahmedabad, India offering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in areas of natural and developed environment of human society and related disciplines.

This metro station consists of the main Navarangpura Fire Station along with Passport Seva Kendra and M.G. Science Institute in Ahmedabad. This metro station was opened to the public on 30 September 2022.

The Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) is a National Research Institute for space and allied sciences, supported mainly by Department of Space, Government of India. This research laboratory has ongoing research programmes in astronomy and astrophysics, atmospheric sciences and aeronomy, planetary and geosciences, Earth sciences, Solar System studies and theoretical physics. It also manages the Udaipur Solar Observatory and Mount Abu InfraRed Observatory. The PRL is located in Ahmedabad. The Physical Research Laboratory was founded on 11 November 1947 by Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. The laboratory had a modest beginning at his residence, with research on cosmic rays. The institute was formally established at the M.G. Science Institute, Ahmedabad, with support from the Karmkshetra Educational Foundation and the Ahmedabad Education Society. Prof. K. R. Ramanathan was the first Director of the institute. The initial focus was research on cosmic rays and the properties of the upper atmosphere. Research areas were expanded to include theoretical physics and radio physics later with grants from the United States Atomic Energy Commission. PRL is involved in research, related to five major fields of science. PRL is also instrumental in the PLANEX planetary science and exploration programme. In June 2018, PRL scientists discovered exoplanet EPIC 211945201b or K2-236b, located 600 light years away from the Earth.The building of the PRL was designed by Achyut Kanvinde in 1962.

The Ahmedabad Textile Industry's Research Association (commonly known as ATIRA) is an autonomous non-profit association for textile research located in the Navarangpura area of Ahmedabad, India. It is the largest association for textile research & allied industries in India. Established on 13 December 1947, and started in 1949, ATIRA was recognized by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. It was later linked to the Ministry of Textiles.

The Ahmedabad Stock Exchange (ASE) is the second oldest exchange of India located in the city of Ahmedabad in the Western part of the country and is fully owned by Government of India. It is recognised by Securities Contract (Regulations) Act, 1956 as permanent stock exchange. Its logo consists of the Swastika which is one of the most auspicious symbols of Hinduism depicting wealth and prosperity. In April 2018, the SEBI permitted the Ahmedabad stock exchange to exit the stock exchange business. Under the agreement, ASE will cease its activities and change its name to remove the phrase "stock exchange" from it.

SP Stadium is an elevated metro station on the East-West Corridor of the Blue Line of Ahmedabad Metro in Ahmedabad, India. This metro station consists of the main Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad along with HL College of Commerce and Joggers Park in Navarangpura. This metro station was opened to the public on 30 September 2022.

Mithakali is a part of Ahmedabad city. Once a fairly nondescript and quiet place, it has recently seen a real estate explosion. Today Mithakali is home to the Crosswords book store chain, the Pantaloons department store chain, the Westside stores chain which is a Tata company, the Subway sandwich store, Natural Ice cream, an Adidas showroom and many other big names that are opening up in Ahmedabad. Mahatma Gandhi International School is also based in this area. A multi speciality hospital Medi-Surge is located in Mithakali. Mithakhali Multi Sports Complex is an Indoor Stadium located in the area and was built in 2007 for the purposed of promoting indoor sport in the city.Mithakali is also a hub for offices and small stores being located at one end of the C.G. Road. Mitahakli is today used to refer to a large traffic circle with a 6-road intersection: one road leads to Law Garden, one to C.G.Road, one to the Navrangpura Bus Stand, one to the Mount Carmel railway crossing, one towards Mitahakali village and one to Ashram Road through the Mercury underbridge. Mithakali was once a village on the meter-gauge railway line. It was swallowed up by Ahmedabad city in its westward growth during the 1970s. On this site [1] there is a map depicting the growth of Ahmedabad city. Though Mithakali isn't mentioned, it is in the light-blue zone shown as growing from 1970 to 1989. It is not far from Gandhigram station, which is shown.
