Rockland is a bilingual community located about 40 km (25 mi) east of downtown Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, part of the city of Clarence-Rockland. Rockland has a population of 26,505 (2021). It is home to a large part of the francophone community in Eastern Ontario along with the towns situated to the east and the Ottawa suburb of Orleans to the west.

It is on the same channel as 100,000 watt CKBE-FM Montreal, less than 100 kilometres away. That may cause interference in some areas between CHRC and CKBE-FM. These interference problems were addressed in the station's paperwork with the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), which approved the application on February 25, 2013.

Ecole secondaire Hormisdas-Gamelin is a public francophone high school located in the city of Gatineau, Quebec. It is located in the east end of the city in the Buckingham sector on MacLaren Street. It is operated by the Centre de services scolaire au Cœur-des-Vallées which operates institutions in the Buckingham area as well as in the Papineau region of the Outaouais. The school is home to an international program to more skilled students. The program's goal is to initiate schools to be more open and informed about the worldwide realities and cultures. There also additional specific formation programs called voies in which students can have specific courses in some domains including sports, sciences, arts or citizen, environment and visual arts. Cambridge Township was a township in Ontario, Canada. Along with Clarence Township, Russell Township and Cumberland Township, Cambridge Township was one of the four townships of Russell County. It was created in 1800. It existed for 198 years before becoming part of The Nation Municipality in 1998, during the Eastern Ontario municipal fusions. Major communities in what was Cambridge Township are Limoges and St. Albert. Other communities include Benoit, Gagnon, Longtinville, Martels Corners and Mayerville. Cumberland is an unincorporated village on the Ottawa River in Cumberland Ward, in the city of Ottawa. It was part of the historic Township of Cumberland. In 1999, the township became the short lived City of Cumberland which amalgamated into the City of Ottawa in 2001. While the community of Cumberland was located in the City of Cumberland, it only made up a small percentage of the population of the city. Cumberland is bounded by Regional Road 174 and the Ottawa River to the north, Colonial Road to the southeast, Innes Road to the southwest, and Trim Road to the west.There are 6.1 total recreational sites per 1,000 people in Cumberland.
