The Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF; English: Association of Francophone Universities) is a global network of French-speaking higher-education and research institutions. Founded in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1961, as the Association des Universités Partiellement ou Entièrement de Langue Française (AUPELF), the AUF is a multilateral institution supporting co-operation and solidarity among French-speaking universities and institutions. It operates in French-speaking and non-speaking countries of Africa, the Arab world, Southeast Asia, North and South America and the Caribbean, Central, Eastern and Western Europe. As of 2020, the AUF has 1,007 members (public and private universities, institutes of higher education, research centers and institutions, institutional networks, and networks of university administrators) distributed throughout francophone countries on six continents. It is active in 119 countries, and represented by regional offices and information centers on campuses and in institutes. The Association receives funding from the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), and its headquarters are located at the Université de Montréal, Quebec.

The Faculty of Medicine (French: Faculté de médecine) is one of four medical schools in Quebec. The faculty is part of the Université de Montréal and is located in Montreal and Trois-Rivières.Recent accolades for the school include an endowment by Pfizer (worth $1.8 million) for a chair in atherosclerosis and being awarded a million-dollar grant for the study of leukemia.

Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf (French: [kɔlɛʒ ʒɑ̃ də bʁebœf]) is a subsidized private, previously Jesuit French-language educational institution offering secondary school and college-level instruction in Quebec. It was originally a boys' school but since 2014 admits both girls and boys. The school is located at 3200 Côte-Sainte-Catherine Road. Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf is also a boarding school for college students wishing to reside at the college from Monday to Friday, and also during weekends. Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf is commonly seen as one of the foremost schools in Quebec, and it has the seventh place in the Fraser Institute School Ranking as of 2020. In addition to government subsidies of roughly $4,500 per student every year, the school is able to maintain low tuition due to large class sizes.With alumni Pierre Trudeau and Justin Trudeau, Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf is the secondary education institution that has produced the most Canadian prime ministers in the country. It also was the alma mater of Quebec Premiers Robert Bourassa and Pierre-Marc Johnson, and of Leaders of the Official Opposition of Quebec such as, André Boisclair and Pierre-Karl Péladeau.

Institut de pastorale des Dominicains is the Montreal, Quebec branch of the Dominican University College / Collège Universitaire Dominicain, a Roman Catholic university based in Ottawa, Ontario. The institute offers, in French, programs in pastoral or liturgical theology or in catechism, leading to university certificates and bachelor's degrees.

The Centre hospitalier universitaire Sainte-Justine (CHU Sainte-Justine) is the largest mother and child centre in Canada and one of the four most important pediatric centres in North America. It is affiliated with the Université de Montréal, located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.Founded in 1907 by Justine Lacoste-Beaubien and Dr Irma Levasseur, the CHU Sainte-Justine is currently the largest pediatric health centre in Canada. With its 550 beds, of which 30 are in the intensive care unit, it receives 19,000 inpatients yearly. The centre employs 520 doctors and 4500 medical students and residents.The CHU officially became a university health centre in 1995 and has since welcomed around 2500 medical students yearly. It has also been home to a research centre since 1973. In 2000, the Centre de réadaptation Marie-Enfant, the only pediatric rehabilitation centre in Quebec, became affiliated with the CHU Sainte-Justine.The institution underwent a major expansion in 2018, under the project "Grandir en Santé". This extension has increased the centre's total area by 65%.The CHU is a Level 1 pediatric trauma centre, receiving children from all over Quebec for pediatric liver transplantation, pediatric craniofacial surgery, and pediatric burn surgery. Tertiary and quaternary care in paediatrics and obstetrics includes all specialties in pediatric surgery, including cardiac, vascular and neurosurgery, as well as all pediatric specialties, including organ transplantation, oncology, hematology and child psychiatry. It is also the provincial reference centre for the detection of deafness, management of chronic pain and developmental disorders in children. Although a mother-child institution, it does not have the medical capacity to care for those mothers who require intensive care management. As such, these mothers are required to be transferred to other institutions on the Montreal island, such as: McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), Hôpital Maisonneuve Rosemont, Jewish General Hospital or Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal. Currently, the only centre on the island of Montreal with a full array of intensive-care (including fetal interventions, ECMO, dialysis, neurosurgery, care for the extreme premature newborn and cardiac surgery) for both the mother and the newborn, is the McGill University Health Centre (which is home to the Royal Victoria Hospital and the Montreal Children's Hospital).

Côte-Sainte-Catherine Road (officially in French: Chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine; known as Boulevard Sainte-Marie between 1911 and 1917) is a street in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It begins at the Décarie Expressway in Snowdon, part of the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, and runs east and southeast along the periphery of Mount Royal to Park Avenue in the Plateau, terminating near Mount Royal Avenue. In between, it crosses Outremont completely and is one of the oldest streets in the borough, having been present at the time Outremont was incorporated in 1875. Outremont's borough (formerly city) hall is located on this street, as is Beaubien Park. Further west in Côte-des-Neiges, it houses the Jewish General Hospital, the CHU Sainte-Justine hospital, Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, the Montreal Holocaust Museum, and the Segal Centre for Performing Arts. The Montreal Metro provides ample coverage around the western portion of the street. Côte-Sainte-Catherine station on the Orange Line is located at its corner with Victoria Avenue, while the Blue Line runs a few blocks to the south, across the campus of the Université de Montréal.

The Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM) is the first mathematical research institute in Canada, located at the Université de Montréal. The CRM has ten research laboratories, one in each of: mathematical analysis, number theory and symbolic computation, differential geometry and topology, discrete mathematics and combinatorics, applied mathematics, neuroimaging, mathematical physics, statistics, probability theory and quantum computing.Each year it awards four of the main mathematical sciences prizes in Canada: the CRM-Fields-PIMS prize, which is the most prestigious award given in Canada in mathematics; the Aisenstadt Prize, awarded to a young outstanding Canadian mathematician; the CRM-SSC Prize, awarded in collaboration with the Statistical Society of Canada to an exceptional young Canadian statistician; and the CAP-CRM Prize in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics awarded in collaboration with the Canadian Association of Physicists in recognition of exceptional achievements in theoretical and mathematical physics.

The Faculty of Law at Université de Montréal was officially founded in 1892. In 2018, the Faculty was ranked as the best francophone law school in the world. In addition to its civil law degree (LL.B.), the Law School offers a one-year J.D. in common law for Quebec civil law graduates that enables them to take the bar exam in other Canadian provinces and in New York, Massachusetts and California. Combining civil and common law in a uniquely bijural environment, the education provided at the Faculty of Law seeks to make students proficient in both Western legal traditions. UdeM Faculty of Law is also bilingual. The languages of instruction are French and English for the LL.B. and English for the J.D.

Côte-des-Neiges station is a Montreal Metro station in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Blue Line. It is located in the Côte-des-Neiges area of the borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. It opened in 1988.

The Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) is an annual digital humanities training program held in June at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, and since 2024 at the University of Montréal, Canada. It is an example of an academic summer school. DHSI now attracts over 600 participants for two weeks of courses, forum discussions, paper sessions, and unconferences. DHSI has an International Advisory Board. In both the past and present, major overarching themes of DHSI have included collaboration, interdisciplinarity, and the creation and cultivation of a larger Digital Humanities community beyond the structure of the typical academic environment. It has been especially noted that DHSI encourages opportunities for digital humanists at all stages of their careers, levels of expertise in the field, and roles in the contribution to the Digital Humanities to engage and network with each other. DHSI's course offerings run parallel to the DHSI Conference & Colloquium, formerly known as the DHSI Colloquium. Founded in 2009 by Diane Jakacki and Cara Leitch, the event invited graduate-only submissions until 2011.

Polytechnique Montréal (French pronunciation: ​[pɔlitɛknik mɔ̃ʁeal]) (previously École polytechnique de Montréal; French pronunciation: ​[ekɔl pɔlitɛknik də mɔ̃ʁeal]) is an engineering school affiliated with the Université de Montréal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In English it may occasionally be referred to as "Montreal Polytechnic", but is more often called to by its French name. The school offers graduate and postgraduate training, and is very active in research. Following tradition, new Bachelors of Engineering (B.Eng) graduating from Polytechnique Montréal receive an Iron Ring, during the Canadian Ritual of the Calling of an Engineer ceremony.
