Holosiiv National Nature Park

Koncha-Zaspa (Ukrainian: Конча-Заспа) is a historic neighbourhood in the Holosiiv Raion (district) of the city of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It is known for being the place where Ukraine's political elite live. Koncha-Zaspa is located in the southern part of the city. In the 1920s the territory was the first state preserve in the Ukrainian SSR.

Pyrohiv (Ukrainian: Пирогі́в), also known as Pirogov (Russian: Пирого́в), originally a village south of Kyiv, now the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine, is a 133.5 hectare open-air museum located at 1 Akademika Tronko Street, Kyiv, Ukraine. An architectural and landscape complex representing the major historical and ethnographic regions of Ukraine, it is dedicated to the preservation and study of regional Ukrainian folkways.

Kyiv Oblast (Ukrainian: Київська область, romanized: Kyivska oblast, IPA: [ˈkɪjiu̯sʲkɐ ˈɔblɐsʲtʲ]), also called Kyivshchyna (Київщинa, IPA: [ˈkɪjiu̯ʃtʃɪnɐ]), is an oblast (province) in central and northern Ukraine. It surrounds, but does not include, the city of Kyiv, which is administered as a city with special status. However, Kyiv also serves as the administrative center of the oblast. The Kyiv metropolitan area extends out from Kyiv city into parts of the oblast, which is significantly dependent on the urban economy and transportation of Kyiv. The population of Kyiv Oblast is 1,795,079 (2022 estimate). Its largest city is Bila Tserkva, with a population over 200,000. The Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is in the northern part of Kyiv Oblast. It is administered separately from the oblast and public access is prohibited.

Khotiv hillfort is a hillfort of early Iron Age (Scythian times, 6 century BC) in the village of Khotiv, Ukraine. The hillfort adjoins the southern part of Kyiv, namely Feofaniya Park. It occupies a rhombic plateau 1000x700 m wide, bordered by valleys of the streams. All the plateau area, 31 ha, was surrounded with earth rampart, while the slope of the hill was fortified by a scarp with a berm and a moat beneath. The rampart, scarp and berm are well preserved on the western and eastern edges, and remains of the moat are much less conspicuous now. It is supposed that the hillfort had 3 entrances: in the northern, eastern and southern part of the rampart.Khotiv hillfort has the status of an archaeological monument since 1965. In 2007, official borders of the monument were cut down, and in 2009, the excluded areas became the place of house building. The northern part of the hillfort was demolished by building of a palace of Ukrainian billionaire Yuri Kosiuk. Later, the works began in the southern and eastern parts of the hillfort, which are planned for building too.

The Lybid (Ukrainian: Либідь) is a small river in Kyiv, Ukraine. A right tributary of the Dnieper, it flows within the "Right Bank" (original) part of the city, just to the west of the historic center. The Lybid has played an important role in shaping Kyiv's urban design by aiding the city's drainage system.

Feofaniia or Teofaniia (Ukrainian: Феофáнія, Теофáнія; also called Theophania) is a park located in the historical neighborhood on a tract near the southern outskirts of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The neighborhood is located in the administrative Holosiiv Raion (district) amidst the neighborhoods of Holosiiv, Teremky, Pyrohiv and Khotiv. The park's total area is about 1.5 km2 (0.58 sq mi). The first Soviet computer, MESM, was built in Feofaniia. Feofaniia was first mentioned in 1471 as Lazorivshchyna (Лазорівщина), which at the time belonged to an owner named Khodiki. The name is said to derive from a monk named Lazar. In the 17th century, the area was referred to as Shakhravshchyna (Шахравщина).The modern name Feofaniia dates back to 1803 when Theophanes Shyianov-Cherniavskyi settled in the area, set aside for charity purposes. During the 1860s, Feofaniia belonged to the St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery in central Kyiv. Buildings built in the area were constructed in the Ukrainian Baroque style, however, they did not survive. In 1919, Feofaniia was converted to the Soviet state farm, and later transformed into the main observatory for the Institute of Botany of the Ukrainian Academy of Science. In 1972, Feofaniia was declared a park, and from 1992 — a government designated park, which belongs to the "Feofaniia" conservatory of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine. Reconstruction work began on the area in 2004, which, when finished (projected in 2008) will include new landscaping, water and canal features.Located near Feofaniia are the St. Panteleimon's Convent, the Nikolay Bogolyubov Institute of Theoretical Physics, and the Government Clinical Hospital "Feofaniia."

The Cathedral of St. Pantaleon or St. Panteleimon is a large Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the Kyivan neighbourhood of Feofaniia. It shares similarities with the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Tallinn and is considered a high point in Russian Revival ecclesiastical architecture. It was built to a Russian Revival design by Yevgeny Yermakov between 1905 and 1912. The building is pentacupolar, with the massive black central dome and the four tent-like domes on the corners, as well as low galleries which run continuously around the building. The outer walls are covered with a mazy web of tracery. The cathedral was intended to serve as the main church of the Kyivan Monastery of St. Panteleimon, which originated as a branch, or skete, of St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery. It was closed for worship and thoroughly looted in the 1920s and damaged in World War II.The hollow shell of the church was returned to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in 1990s and has been restored as the main church of a nunnery. The other church building of the convent conforms to the cathedral in style.

The Institute of Physics (IOP) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Інститут фізики Національної академії наук України) founded in 1926 is the oldest research institution of physical science within the academy. Being on the path of both infrastructure development and research diversification for more than 80 years, the institute has eventually originated five more specialized research institutions. Currently, the institute employs more than 300 researchers (together with two full members and eight corresponding members of the NASU) and around 200 peoples of supporting personnel. It has more than 20 scientific units (including the state-of-the-art Femtosecond Laser Complex) which are grouped around four research programs Traditionally, the institute is focused on fundamental research. At the same time, applied research on cryogenics, LC displays, laser systems, pyroelectric detectors, biophysics and plasma technologies strengthen the institute's activities. The IOP is consistently ranked at the top of national academic institutions ranking. Besides, international reputation of IOP is growing constantly as prominent scientists from the Institute expand their activity to leading foreign research centers and universities.

Feofaniya Clinical Hospital (Ukrainian: Клінічна Лікарня "Феофанія") is a hospital of State Management of Affairs of Ukraine which designated to provide medical service to Ukrainian officials. It is located on the southern outskirts of Kyiv next to village of Novosilky of Fastiv Raion. Next to the hospital also is located the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Lysa Hora (Ukrainian: Лиса Гора); ("Bald Mountain" meaning barren mountain, featureless mountain) is a large wooded hill in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, near the confluence of the Dnipro and Lybid' rivers. The hill is now a nature reserve included in the Kyiv Fortress museum. The mount supposedly takes its name from the fact that its top was (some slopes of the hill are still) not covered by trees. The mount is located in the Holosiiv Municipal District of Kyiv. According to the Slavic legends, the Lysa Hora hill is the largest and most famous location of the mystical "bald mountain" — a traditional site of the witch gatherings. Particularly, it is asserted in the works of the Ukrainian writer Nikolai Gogol.

Telychka (Ukrainian: Теличка) is an unfinished station on the Kyiv Metro's Syretsko-Pecherska Line located in between the Vydubychi and Slavutych stations. The station is located in the Telychka neighborhood of Kyiv's right-bank Holosiiv Raion (district). It is the last station on the Syretsko-Pecherska Line that is located on Kyiv's right bank, right before the Pivdennyi Bridge. The station's construction was first envisioned in the late 1980s to the early 1990s along with the other neighboring stations. It was then known as the Naddniprianska (Ukrainian: Наддніпрянська) station. However, its construction was frozen as it was located in a high-density industrial zone that would not have a high passenger ridership. In 2011 it was expected that the station will be finished once the industrial zone is revitalized and converted into a commercial and business complex.The station was designed as a shallow-level bi-span, with passenger platforms located on either side of the tracks (similar to the design of the Vyrlytsia, Chervonyi Khutir, and Dnipro stations).

Khotiv is a village in Obukhiv Raion of Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Feodosiivska rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Khotiv adjoins the boundary of Kyiv in its southwestern outskirts (Holosiivskyi District, Feofania). Population of the village is 4800 inhabitants and 1592 houses (01.01.2006). Territory of the Khotiv rural council embraces villages of Kremenyshche (370 inhabitants, 128 houses) and Kruhlyk (330 inhabitants, 110 houses). Total area of this territory is 2432,7 ha. Khotiv occupies 768,7 ha (68 streets), Kremenyshche 121,1 ha (5 streets), Kruhlyk - 50,2 ha (6 streets). The picturesque territory of Khotiv is situated on the side of Kyiv plateau, cut by deep valleys and steep ravines. Khotiv it is divided into two parts by stream Vita (length of 12,6 km). There are two ponds. Khotiv is the location of the Khotiv hillfort of Scythian times (6 century BC). Until 18 July 2020, Khotiv belonged to Kyiv-Sviatoshyn Raion. The raion was abolished that day as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Kyiv Oblast to seven. The area of Kyiv-Sviatoshyn Raion was split between Bucha, Fastiv, and Obukhiv Raions, with Khotiv being transferred to Obukhiv Raion.
