The Judge David Hibbard Homestead is a historic farm property on Woodland Road in Concord, Vermont. The farmhouse, built in 1814 for a prominent local lawyer, is one of the finest examples of Federal period architecture in northeastern Vermont. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Lee Farm is a historic farm property on Vermont Route 18 in Waterford, Vermont. Established in 1801, it was for many years worked by members of the Lee family, and part of a thriving rural community called Waterford Hollow. Its farmstead features surviving 19th and early 20th-century outbuildings and a high-quality Greek Revival farmhouse. A 5-acre (2.0 ha) portion of the farm, encompassing the farmstead, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Dog Mountain is a 150-acre (61 ha) property in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, with trails, a pond, and fields open for off-leash roaming by dogs and their people. Dog Mountain began as the home and studio of Vermont folk artists Stephen Huneck and Gwen Huneck, and the site includes an art gallery featuring Stephen's art. It is also home to The Dog Chapel (2000), a replica of a classic white New England country church built by Stephen and featuring his dog sculptures, stained-glass, and paintings. After the deaths of Stephen in 2010 and Gwen in 2013, the site has been managed by the non-profit Friends of Dog Mountain.

Moore Dam is a major hydroelectric dam on the Upper Connecticut River between Grafton County, New Hampshire and Caledonia County, Vermont in the northeastern United States. The dam is located near Littleton, New Hampshire, and forms the 3,490-acre (1,410 ha) Moore Reservoir. The Moore Station is the largest conventional hydroelectric plant in New England, in terms of installed capacity and average power generation. The dam and reservoir also provide flood control, recreational boating and fishing. The official name of the dam is the Samuel C. Moore Dam, after a former president of the now defunct New England Power Company that originally built it. The dam, reservoir and power station are now owned and operated by TransCanada Corporation.

Moore Reservoir is an impoundment on the Connecticut River located in the communities of Littleton, New Hampshire; Dalton, New Hampshire; Waterford, Vermont; and Concord, Vermont. It occupies approximately 3,181 acres (12.87 km2).It was created by the completion of the Moore Dam in 1956, which caused the flooding of several villages, including Pattenville, New Hampshire, and old Waterford, Vermont. Moore Dam is now owned and operated by TransCanada Corporation. With a capacity of 192 megawatts, it is the most productive of TransCanada's thirteen hydroelectric facilities in New England.The lake is classified as a cold- and warmwater fishery, with observed species including brook trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, smallmouth and largemouth bass, chain pickerel, bullpout, northern pike, and rock bass.

The West View Farm is a historic farm property on Hastings Road (Town Highway 34) in Waterford, Vermont. The farm is unique for its distinctive round barn, built in 1903 to a design by St. Johnsbury architect Lambert Packard, and surviving 19th-century corn crib and smokehouse. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. It includes a round barn.

The Caledonia-3 Representative District is a two-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Caledonia-3 District includes all of the Caledonia County town of St. Johnsbury. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The two member Caledonia-3 District had a population of 7,571 in that same census, 6.74% below the state average. This means that there are 3785.5 residents per representative.
