Washington Township, Warren County, Indiana

The Warren County Courthouse is a stone building constructed in 1908 in Williamsport, Indiana. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 19, 2008.

The Metropolitan School District of Warren County administers the one high school/middle school and three elementary schools in Warren County, Indiana. Its offices are located in the county seat of Williamsport. During the 2009–10 school year, it served 1,257 students.

The Williamsport-Washington Township Public Library in Williamsport, Washington Township, Warren County, Indiana, was established in 1914 in a borrowed space in a downtown office building. It opened as a Carnegie library in 1917 on Fall Street. A new library building was completed in 2002 at 28 East Second Street, across State Road 28 from the Warren County Court House and County Jail buildings. This new building was funded primarily with the support of the Warren County Community Foundation (WCCF) and the Community Alliance to Promote Education (CAPE). In 2006 the new building was heavily damaged by fire. The restored building opened in late 2007.

Williamsport Falls is a waterfall near the center of the town of Williamsport, the county seat of Warren County, Indiana. With a height of 90 feet (27 m), it is the tallest waterfall in Indiana. Fall Creek flows through the town between the old part of the town (nearer the river) and the newer part (established when the railroad was constructed through the area). Near the point where Monroe Street crosses the railroad, the creek falls over a sandstone ledge. The actual height of the waterfall has changed somewhat over the years, as pieces of the ledge have sheared off and fallen to the bottom of the falls. Below the falls, sandstone used to be quarried and was used to build the foundations of many local buildings. The water flow was sufficiently substantial in the 19th century to support a mill located below the falls; but the flow is less consistent now, and the falls are frequently quiet. This is due to the conversion of woodlands and grasslands to intensive mechanized farming and the diversion of natural water flows to impoundments used to provide reliable water supplies for irrigation and other purposes. A feasibility study on providing a steady flow of water was conducted, but the expense was determined to be too great.

Williamsport is a town in Washington Township, Warren County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 1,898 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Warren County and is the largest of the four incorporated towns in the county. Williamsport Falls is located in downtown Williamsport.

Kent and Hitchens Housese were a matched pair of historic homes located at Williamsport, Warren County, Indiana. They were built in 1854, and are two-story, Italian Villa style brick dwellings. Each features a three-story corner tower set at an angle to the main part of the building. The houses were originally mirror images of each other.: 5–6  The house at 500 Main was destroyed by a fire in the 1990s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Five Points is an extinct town that was located in Liberty Township in Warren County, Indiana, on U.S. Route 41. Even though the community no longer exists, it is still cited by the USGS.

Fountain (originally named Portland) is an unincorporated community in Shawnee Township, Fountain County, Indiana, United States. The Wabash and Erie Canal formerly passed through the community.

West Lebanon is a town in Pike Township, Warren County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 723 at the 2010 census.

Portland Arch Nature Preserve is a 435-acre (1.76 km2) nature preserve near the Wabash River in Fountain County, Indiana, USA, and is a National Natural Landmark. The preserve encompasses the wooded valleys, ravines and rocky cliffs around the lowest section of Bear Creek, which flows northwest toward the Wabash River. Its name comes from the nearby town of Fountain, which was originally named Portland, and from a natural sandstone bridge carved by a small tributary of Bear Creek. Portland Arch Nature Preserve is managed by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

The West Lebanon-Pike Township Public Library in West Lebanon, Indiana, United States, is a Carnegie library serving southwestern Warren County. Its original 3,060-square-foot (284 m2) brick-and-limestone building was constructed in 1916 using a $7,500 gift from Andrew Carnegie. A $610,000 renovation in 2006 added 1,768 square feet (164.3 m2) of floor space, plus better access for handicapped patrons, more shelf space and a multi-purpose children's activity room. The library's collection contains approximately 12,000 books.

Old Town is an extinct town located in Pike Township in Warren County, Indiana, and the original site of what is now the town of West Lebanon. It was platted in the fall of 1830 by Ebenezer Purviance, John G. Jemison and Andrew Fleming, and was originally named Lebanon. When the Wabash Railroad was built through the area in 1856, it passed about a mile north of the community, and so most of the town shifted to be nearer the station. When the town incorporated in 1869 (under the name West Lebanon) it was at the new location by the railroad, and the original site came to be known as Old Town.A number of buildings are still in and around Old Town, and it is still cited by the USGS.
