The Poggio Reale villa or Villa Poggio Reale was an Italian Renaissance villa commissioned in 1487 by Alfonso II of Naples as a royal summer residence. The Italian phrase "poggio reale" translates to "royal hill" in English. The villa was designed and built by Giuliano da Maiano and located in the city of Naples, in the district now known as Poggioreale, between the present Via del Campo, Via Santa Maria del Pianto and the new and old Via Poggioreale. At the time it was built, a period when the capital city of the Kingdom of Naples was renowned for elegant homes with expansive vistas of the surrounding landscape and Mount Vesuvius, the villa was outside the city walls of Naples and was one of the most important architectural achievements of the Neapolitan Renaissance. Imitated, admired, robbed of its treasures by another king, left in ruins and partially destroyed, the summer palace of the King of Naples lives on in name as a style.

Poggioreale will be a station on Line 1 of the Naples Metro located in the homonymous hemicycle, in the immediate vicinity of the Naples-Baiano line of the Circumvesuviana with which it will constitute an interchange.

Capodichino - Airport will be a station on line 1 of the Naples metro, located near the Naples-Capodichino airport.The new metro station redesigns access to the airport with covered pedestrian walkways and a capillary network of roads, connected to the parking area. The project characterizes the terminal with the large translucent round roof that allows natural light to penetrate from above into the deep central shaft. The vertical path comes alive with the movement of travelers: the elevators and the spiral of the escalators orient and distribute the flows of arrivals and departures. On December 15, 2013, the CIPE approved a 650 million euro loan for the Garibaldi-Capodichino Airport section, with the intermediate stops at the Centro Direzionale, Tribunale and Poggioreale. The completion of the works, initially foreseen by the CIPE for 2018, will take place no earlier than 2023.

Poggioreale is a neighbourhood of Naples, southern Italy. It is at the extreme east end of the downtown Naples and includes the central train station, Centro Direzionale (Civic Center), Poggioreale prison, and the industrial area to the east.

Stadio Partenopeo, also known as Stadio Giorgio Ascarelli, was a multi-use stadium in Naples, Italy. It was used mostly for football matches, and it was also the home ground of S.S.C. Napoli. The stadium was able to hold 40.000 people. During the 1934 World Cup, it hosted two games. The stadium was destroyed by bombardments during the Second World War. The stadium was named after Giorgio Ascarelli, an Italian sports executive and businessman in textile industry.

Tribunale will be a station on Line 1 of the Naples Metro and will rise in Via Domenico Aulisio. The previous station will be Centro Direzionale, while the next one will be Poggioreale.

Naval Support Activity Naples (NSA Naples) is a United States Navy military complex, located adjacent to Naples International Airport in Capodichino, Naples, Italy. The Activity is under Italian military control and can be managed anytime by Italian authorities. It is home to U.S. Naval Forces Europe and the U.S. Sixth Fleet.

San Giuseppe Maggiore dei Falegnami is a historic church in via Carlo Bussola in the quartiere of Poggioreale, in the rione of Luzzatti in Naples, Italy. Originally built in the 15th century; and dedicated to the Sacra Famiglia. In 1934 cardinal Alessio Ascalesi transferred the church to the jurisdiction of San Giuseppe Maggiore, and rededicated the church to St Joseph, patron of carpenters. The subterranean oratory is commonly flooded due to the low nature of central Naples and the presence of former river bed. The interior still has works from the earliest church, for example, the Angels by Angelo Viva, the Eternal Father by Giuseppe Sanmartino, the main altar by Gaetano Barba, and two wooden statues by Giovanni da Nola (now in Museo di Capodimonte for security purposes). Other works include the Madonna and the Carmine by Girolamo Imparato and canvases of the 17th and 18th centuries. The dome is decorated with majolica tiles.

According to 2019 data, the airport is the fifth-busiest airport in Italy and the first one in Southern Italy. The airport serves as a base for easyJet, Ryanair, Volotea and Wizzair. Located 3.2 NM (5.9 km; 3.7 mi) north-northeast of the city in the San Pietro a Patierno quarter of Naples, the airport is officially named Aeroporto di Napoli-Capodichino Ugo Niutta, after decorated WWI pilot Ugo Niutta.

The Cemetery of the 366 Fossae (Cimitero delle 366 Fosse) or Cimitero di Santa Maria del Popolo or Cimitero dei Tredici was built in 1762 a short distance from the then-dilapidated Villa Poggio Reale, and is located on a terrace of a hill overlooking the Poggioreale neighborhood of Naples, Italy. It is near the monumental Cemetery of Poggioreale, which was built on top of the ruined villa. The architect was the Florentine Ferdinando Fuga.

Centro Direzionale will be a station on line 1 of the Naples Metro, adjacent and connected through an underground passage to the Naples Centro Direzionale station of the Circumvesuviana railway. The construction site was inaugurated on 2 August 2014.The Centro Direzionale station, designed by the EMBT studio (founded by architects Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue), will serve the business center of Naples, home to numerous public offices. The external part of the railway complex will occupy a central area of the island F, and will consist of a "wave" canopy:

The Centro direzionale is a business district in Naples, Italy, close to the station of Napoli Centrale, they constitute an entire citadel. Designed by the Japanese architect Kenzō Tange, the entire complex was completed in 1995. It is the first cluster of skyscrapers to have been built in Italy and southern Europe.
