FC Viktoria Köln is a German association football club from the city of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia, that competes in the 3. Liga.

Sportpark Höhenberg is a sports facility in the Merheimer Heide in Cologne's Höhenberg quarter on the right bank of the Rhine. The football stadium belonging to the facility is the home ground of association football club Viktoria Köln and American football team Cologne Crocodiles. Currently, the sports facility seats 10,001.

Ostheim (Colognian: Uustem or Ossheim) is an eastern district of Cologne in the Kalk district on the right bank of the Rhine. Until the 19th century, Ostheim was a small, agricultural village of the parish of Merheim. During the industrialization of the cities of Kalk and Mülheim am Rhein, Ostheim developed into a residential area for the workers of the factories there. With the incorporation of the mayoralty of Merheim on April 1, 1914, Ostheim became an independent district of Cologne. Due to the bomb-related destruction of the larger neighboring districts in World War II and the associated housing shortage as well as increasing industrialization, several housing estates were built in Ostheim, so that the number of inhabitants more than tripled between 1950 and 1980. In particular, the high-rise area on Gernsheimer Strasse, built in the 1970s, developed into a social hotspot with an increased need for care. Through measures on the part of the authorities as well as private initiative, attempts are being made to counteract this development.

Kalk was merged into the city of Cologne in 1910, the borough was formed in 1975. The borough of Kalk borders with Mülheim to the North, Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis to the East, the Cologne borough of Porz to the South and Deutz to the West.

Centrum Schwule Geschichte e. V. (meaning: Gay History Centre), abbreviated CSG, is a German "LGBT" organization based in Cologne (Köln). CSG maintains a publicly open library and archive, both relating to the history of homosexuality and activism in Germany, with a focus on the homosexual subcultures of Cologne and the Rhineland. Historic documents reach back as far as the 1230s, but it has a more comprehensive inventory on magazines and other publications from the 20th century. Centrum Schwule Geschichte also organizes exhibitions, lectures and other presentations, while CSG's work has also been published in books and magazines. Invertito - Jahrbuch für die Geschichte der Homosexualitäten (Annual For The History Of Homosexualities) is co-owned by the organization. The organisation was established in 1984 and maintains an office in the district of Kalk; its predecessor were the Rheinisches Schwulenarchiv and the Arbeitskreis schwule Geschichte.

Köln-Mülheim is a railway station situated at Mülheim, Cologne in western Germany. It is served by several regional trains, the S6 and S11 lines of the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn and the 13 and 18 lines of Cologne Stadtbahn.

Köln Frankfurter Straße is a station situated at Gremberghoven, Cologne in western Germany on the Cologne Airport Loop and the Cologne–Overath railway. It was opened with the Cologne Airport loop on 13 June 2004.It is served by the S13 and the S19 services of the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn together run at 20-minute intervals on weekdays and every 30 minutes on the weekend. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.

Mülheim (German: Köln-Mülheim [ˈmyːlhaɪm]; Kölsch: Möllem [ˈmølːəm]) is a borough (Stadtbezirk) of Cologne in Germany and a formerly independent town (Mülheim am Rhein). Mülheim is located on the right bank of the Rhine opposite the old town of Cologne. The district borders Leverkusen to the north, Bergisch Gladbach to the east, the Cologne districts of Kalk and Innenstadt to the south. The river Rhine lies west of Mülheim, on the other riverbank lies the Cologne borough of Nippes. The district is ethnically diverse, with a significant Turkish population.

The Palladium is a concert hall in Cologne, located in the immediate vicinity of the E-Werk. The building was built in 1899 as a mechanical engineering hall for the company Trefil Europe Engineering and has served as a venue for cultural events, mainly concerts, since December 1998. The Palladium is operated by Köln Event Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH, which also runs the neighbouring E-Werk.

The Protestant cemetery (German: Evangelischer Friedhof Köln-Mülheim) Bergisch Gladbach road ( Highway 506 ) in Mülheim district of Cologne existed since the beginning of the 17th century and is one of the oldest preserved cemeteries in Cologne, Germany. The cemetery is still in operation and used for burials.
