All Saints Church, Allesley

Stone House is a 16th-century sandstone farmhouse next to Birmingham Road in Allesley, Coventry. It is Grade II* listed for a number of architectural features, as well as its good condition.

Trinity House was a small country house in the village of Allesley, Coventry in the West Midlands, formerly the county of Warwickshire. It stood at the end of Rectory Lane immediately north-west of All Saints Church on the crest of the hill between the River Sherbourne and Pickford Brook. The house became one of "the lost houses" of England after being demolished in the mid-1960s as part of the wider destruction of country houses in 20th-century Britain.

Allesley Park is a park near Coventry, West Midlands, England. It is also the name of the residential suburb adjacent to the park, which is approximately 2.5 miles (4 km) northwest of Coventry city centre, just east of the A45 Coventry bypass.

Allesley Castle is a former motte and bailey castle in Allesley, Coventry. The mound has never been excavated. All that remains of the castle is a large mound - the motte - and a defensive ditch approximately 45 metres (148 ft) in diameter. The ditch contains several concrete blocks which are thought to be bases for bridges over the motte. The site is a scheduled historical monument.

Allesley is an English suburban village and civil parish in the City of Coventry metropolitan borough, West Midlands, about 3¼ miles (5.25 km) west-northwest of Coventry city centre and 4 miles (6.5 km) east-south-east of Meriden. According to the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 805, which rose to 837 at the 2011 Census (excluding the neighbouring districts of Allesley Park and Allesley Green). Until 1998, Allesley contained the main Jaguar car assembly plant at Browns Lane.

The Browns Lane plant in Coventry, England was built as a Second World War shadow factory run by The Daimler Company Limited. In 1951 it was leased by Jaguar Cars and remained the company's home until 2005. It was the site of all Jaguar production until 1998, when production of the Jaguar S-Type commenced at the Castle Bromwich plant, which first produced Jaguar cars in 1977. It was also the firm's corporate headquarters and the home of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. Jaguar's production at Browns Lane waned over the years, as new models were gradually assigned to Castle Bromwich Assembly in Birmingham and the former Ford Halewood Body & Assembly in Halewood, Liverpool. However, the core Jaguar XJ and XK ranges remained on the site until they were moved to Castle Bromwich in 2005. Subsequently, the Browns Lane site housed just the headquarters and museum as well as 500 staff responsible for wood veneering for Jaguar, Aston Martin, and Land Rover. Later, the headquarters moved to the Whitley plant, Whitley, Coventry but the Wood Shop (Veneer Manufacturing Centre), Museum and Pilot Build Workshop remained at Browns Lane. Australian property firm Macquarie Goodman announced its purchase of Browns Lane in 2007. This marked the end of Jaguar’s presence at the site after more than 50 years. The assembly halls were demolished in late 2008.

Whoberley is a residential suburb of the City of Coventry in the West Midlands, England. Coundon Court is an all-inclusive Academy in Coundon, Coventry, England. The Headteacher is Chris Heal.Coundon Court has, as of June 2021, approximately 1800 enrolled students. The school serves an age range from 11 to 18, fully comprehensive school serving students from areas surrounding and including the centre of Coventry. The school converted to an Academy in April 2012 retaining the name and staff of the predecessor school.Coundon Court is located in the northwestern suburbs of Coventry, adjacent to the open countryside of the Coundon Wedge.

Allesley Green is a modern suburb of Coventry in the West Midlands, England, within the civil parish of Allesley. The suburb lies west of the A45 road and is approximately 3.25 miles (5.23 km) west-northwest of Coventry city centre. Most of the housing dates from the late-1980s. It is bounded by the districts of Eastern Green to the southwest, Mount Nod to the south and Allesley Park to the east.

In keeping with the semirural nature of the area, the speed limit on several main roads is 40mph rather than the usual 30mph found in built-up residential areas. However, a combination of the lack of a direct bus service and the proximity of classified roads in the area means that traffic is often much slower than this, particularly during the rush hour.
