Lower Heidelberg Township is a township in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,513 at the 2010 census.

Brownsville is an unincorporated community located in western Lower Heidelberg Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located at the intersection of Brownsville and Heffner Roads. A very small portion of the village extends into North Heidelberg Township. The Brownsville Road Bridge, which spans the Spring Creek between Lower and North Heidelberg Townships, was constructed in 1962. In July 2010, PennDOT closed the bridge for repairs, and detoured traffic to US Route 422 near Robesonia. PennDOT also replaced the roadsigns on the bridge with new ones. The construction was completed in November 2010, and the bridge was re-opened.

Blue Marsh Lake is an artificial lake located northwest of the city of Reading, Pennsylvania, USA and managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Philadelphia District. It is in western Berks County, fed into by the Tulpehocken Creek. The main span of the lake is along the border between Bern and Lower Heidelberg Townships. However, the northwesternmost portions lie in the more sparsely populated North Heidelberg and Penn Townships. In the middle of the lake is a large, uninhabited island (claimed by Bern Township). The lake is a popular recreation area in the summer, where people can fish, swim, and boat. It has 36 miles of trails and 1,147 acres of water. It was built and is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District.

Berks County Residential Center (BCRC), also known as Berks Family Residential Center and as the Berks County detention center, is a 96-bed immigration detention center in Leesport, Berks County, Pennsylvania, operated by Berks County on contract with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Wertz Mill is a historic grist mill located in Wernersville, Berks County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1892, and is a three-story, brick building with a mansard roof in the Second Empire style. It measures 60 feet by 58 feet, 3 inches, and features a cupola atop the roof. It has a two-story, brick extension built in the 1930s. The mill remained in operation until 1969.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Sinking Spring is a borough that is located in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 4,008 at the time of the 2010 census. The borough's name was derived from a spring that was located in the center of town. The water in this spring would sink into the ground from time to time, giving the illusion that it had disappeared. The Sinking Spring area is served by the Wilson School District.
