Governor's Square Mall

Saint Bethlehem or St. Bethlehem, also called "St. B" by locals, was an unincorporated community in Montgomery County, Tennessee, located just northeast of downtown Clarksville. St. Bethlehem has been incorporated into Clarksville city limits and is no longer a separate community, although locals still refer to that portion of Clarksville as "St. B". The main U.S. post office for Clarksville is in the St. Bethlehem community on U.S. Route 79 (Wilma Rudolph Bvd.). Originally named Cherry Station, the community was renamed by a former postmaster. It is home to most of Clarksville's restaurants, retail businesses, and industries, with U.S. Highway 79 (named Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in this area for the Olympic sprinter), running directly through the center. Beachaven Winery, Governor's Square Mall, the main branch of the Clarksville post office, and the county's main industrial park are also located in the area. The industrial park is currently being expanded to become one of the largest in Tennessee. St. Bethlehem is one of the most visited areas in Montgomery County. The Governor's Square Mall (not to be confused with the Governor's Square Mall of Tallahassee, Florida), which is the center of shopping activity in St. Bethlehem, one of two K-Marts, Sam's Club (located further north), and one of three Wal-Marts in the county are located off this street. During the Civil War, the Confederate States of America established Camp Boone at St. Bethlehem in 1861, along the Guthrie-Russellville Road (today SR 79) as a camp for the recruitment of Kentucky soldiers into the Confederate Army. A Tennessee state historical marker denotes the location. When the Trane Company moved its factory into the area in the 1960s, the area exploded in growth, both residentially and commercially. During the 1980s, St. Bethlehem faced possible annexation to Clarksville, though the vote on the annexation barely passed. In recent years, the St. Bethlehem post office has become a branch of the Clarksville post office and St. Bethlehem has ceased to exist as an address. November 2004 had the opening of the Gateway-Vanderbilt Cancer Treatment Center just off U.S. 79, and in June 2008, the new Gateway Medical Center opened south of U.S. 79, next to the newly constructed Governor's Square Loop. St. Bethlehem is a rapidly developing residential and commercial section of Clarksville, with annualized real estate price increases surpassing 8.5% and a steady increase of single-family homes costing more than $120,000. St. Bethlehem can be easily accessed via Interstate 24 Exits 1, 4, and 8 in Tennessee, and by TN 374 from West and South Clarksville.

The Country Woman's Club was founded in the unincorporated community of St. Bethlehem, Tennessee in 1922, as a monthly meeting at one of the member's houses. It expanded to 35 members who eventually moved to meet at the White's Creek Chapel School. Its club building, built in 1927, is a Craftsman Style log building with a hipped roof, which was built by husbands of the club members. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. It was deemedimportant in the woman's club movement, as a visible reflection of the consciousness of gender-specific activities and community roles. It also represents the relative educational, intellectual, political, and civic interests of rural Montgomery County women during the twentieth century. Architecturally the building is a fine example of a twentieth-century log building with Craftsman influence. The Country Woman's Club retains a high degree of architectural and historical integrity. The building is now within the city limits of Clarksville, Tennessee, which expanded.

Dunbar Cave State Park is a 110 acre (450,000 m²) protected area in Clarksville, Tennessee. Dunbar Cave is the 280th largest cave complex in the world, stretching 8.067 miles (13 km) inward. The cave is located in an area of karst topography, including sinkholes, springs, and limestone bedrock. In front of the cave entrance is a large concrete poured structure with three distinct arches and the manmade Swan Lake. In March 2010 the cave was temporarily closed to tours and visitors because a bat infected with White nose syndrome was found in the cave.

Rossview High School is a high school located in Clarksville, Tennessee. It is part of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. The current building was completed in 2001 for $28 million. The school's mascot is Squawk The Hawk, and the school's colors are red and gold, though many sports teams prefer the more 'stylish' black and red. A special tutoring and peer advising program was implemented after "inadequate performance" in the 2003 No Child Left Behind tests, which helped to bring the school up to all federal benchmarks by 2005. The school far exceeds state achievement score averages for each grade for Reading/Language arts as well as for Math.

WKFN (540 AM, "ESPN Clarksville") is a radio station broadcasting a sports format. It is an affiliate of ESPN Radio. The station is licensed to Clarksville, Tennessee. The station is owned by Saga Communications, and operates as part of its Five Star Media Group. Saga also operates WVVR 100.3 Country, WRND 94.3 Classic Hits, WCVQ 107.9 Adult Contemporary, and WZZP 97.5 FM Active Rock from its main offices in Clarksville.

Woodstock, in Todd County, Kentucky near Trenton, Kentucky was the center of a 3,000 acres (12 km2) farm which extended across the state line into Montgomery County, Tennessee. Its main house was built in 1896. That and a second contributing building, a smokehouse, on 7.4 acres (3.0 ha) of land all in Todd County, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.The house was deemed significant for associations with three women: it was a home of the famous author Dorothy Dix (actually Elizabeth Meriwether Gilmer (1861-1951)) and is also associated with "two other interesting and important female members of the Meriwether family, Caroline Ferguson Gordon (1895-1981), and Caroline Meriwether Goodlett (1833-1914), who also gained national reputations in their respective fields." Dorothy Dix wrote of it:How can one describe the place in which one was born any more than one could paint for a stranger the portrait of one’s own mother? It stayed in the Meriwether family until 1918.The main house has 7,400 square feet (0.069 ha) of floor area.It is located about 6 miles (9.7 km) southwest of Trenton, and is just a few hundred yards north of the state line of Kentucky.

White Chapel or Grace Chapel is a historic church on Rossview Road in Rossview, Tennessee. It was established in the 1860s as a mission Sunday school for local children and served all Christian denominations. The frame building that houses the church was built in 1866 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Clarksville High School is a public high school located in Clarksville in Montgomery County, Tennessee. It is part of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. The original building was built in 1906 but the school moved to the current building in 1968. Clarksville High School holds the CMCSS Business Academy which provides an open enrollment option for entering freshman for Montgomery county. Its mascot is Wiley the Wildcat. The School colors are Purple and Gold, and the sports teams wear Purple and Gold with some Black. Athletics are part of the TSSAA. The School meets expectations for the Standardized Tests and ACT's.

Tip Top is a historic mansion in Clarksville, Tennessee. It was built in 1859 for J. P. Williams, a "tobacconist". It was the residence of Governor Malcolm Patterson from 1909 to 1912, until it was purchased by the Trahern family.The two-story house was designed in the Greek Revival architectural style, with some Italianate influences, including paired brackets under its eaves and grilled ironwork. Its interior was later modified Colonial Revival stylings. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 15, 1998.

Oak Top, also known as The Smith Place, is a historic mansion in Clarksville, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built in the 1850s for Thomas W. Wisdom, a county judge. From 1869 to 1890, it was owned by Sterling Beaumont, a tobacco industrialist and banker.The house was designed in the Greek Revival architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 8, 1980.

The Louisville and Nashville Railroad Train Station is a restored railroad station in Clarksville, Tennessee. It was opened by the Memphis, Clarksville and Louisville Railroad in 1859.It was restored in 1996 to circa 1901 AD condition and includes a diesel locomotive donated by RJ Corman and a caboose donated by the Pratt Museum at Fort Campbell. It is home to the local farmers market and a local historical society. It can also be rented out for events. The station was at first widely believed to be the one referenced in The Monkees 1966 song "Last Train to Clarksville", though this turned out to be just a coincidence.

Fortera Stadium is a stadium located on the campus of Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. It opened in 1946 and is the home venue for the Austin Peay Governors football team.
