Wrexham Cemetery (Welsh: Mynwent Wrecsam) is a Victorian garden cemetery in Wrexham, North Wales, which served as the main burial site for the city. It opened in 1876, to the park-like designs of Yeaman Strachan, while its grade II listed chapels and lodge were designed by William Turner. The cemetery was laid out to serve as Wrexham's unofficial first park, while initially arranging graves by social class, now confined to the Victorian section of the cemetery. It contains memorials dedicated to servicemen from the World Wars, with a dedicated Polish servicemen memorial. It was also one of the first sites in Wrexham allowing burials to non-conformists, with it being not directly associated with one established church. The cemetery is listed on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales. It was extended in 1890 and again by the 1960s, which form its modern (non-Victorian) sections. It underwent a refurbishment in 2016–2018, however has since limited new burial plots due to limited space. A World War II mortuary, only one in North Wales, was only re-discovered on the site in 2019.

Rhostyllen () is a village in Wrexham County Borough, Wales, south-west of the city of Wrexham. At the time of the 2001 census, area Wrexham 014A, which includes Rhostyllen itself, had a population of 1,383 in 599 households.

St Joseph's Catholic and Anglican High School (Welsh: Ysgol Uwchradd Gatholig ac Anglicanaidd Sant Joseff) is a secondary school in Wrexham, Wales, located on Sontley Road and situated on the edge of the Erddig estate. The school is opposite the Bishop of Wrexham's residence. It is currently the only shared Church school in Wales. The two Bishops of the Catholic Diocese of Wrexham and the Anglican Church in Wales Diocese of St. Asaph have a shared responsibility for the school.

Fairy Road (Welsh: Ffordd y Tylwyth Teg) is a road and conservation area in Wrexham, North Wales. The conservation has five Grade II listed buildings and one scheduled monument, the Fairy Oak Round Barrow.

Bryn Offa (Welsh for 'Offa's Hill') is a local-authority housing estate in the south-western suburbs of the city of Wrexham, in Wrexham County Borough, north-east Wales in the community of Offa, and is close to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The main route through Bryn Offa is the A525 road to Ruthin Road. The estate is situated next to Ysgol Clywedog (formerly known as Ysgol Bryn Offa, or Bryn Offa High School), and the Shrewsbury-Chester railway line. The community of Offa is named after Bryn Offa.

Ysgol Clywedog (Welsh for 'Clywedog School') is a comprehensive secondary school which serves parts of the city of Wrexham in north-east Wales, in the community of Offa. Ysgol Clywedog is located in the south-west suburbs of Wrexham. The school was named after the nearby River Clywedog, in a competition open to the public, with the final name approved by governors of the school.

Bersham Colliery was a large coal mine located near Rhostyllen in Wrexham County Borough, Wales. The mine accessed seams found in the Denbighshire Coalfield.
