The Devil's Chimney is a limestone rock formation that stands above a disused quarry in Leckhampton, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. It is named for its peculiar shape, that of a crooked and twisted chimney rising from the ground. The Devil's Chimney is a local landmark, but its origins are uncertain. In 1926 it survived an earthquake, but not without a few cracks. In 1985 it was repaired and protected from further erosion.

Leckhampton with Warden Hill, formerly just Leckhampton is a civil parish in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. It comprises the village of Leckhampton and the area of Warden Hill. It has a parish council. The population of the civil parish of Leckhampton taken at the 2011 census was 4,409, and its area at that time was 180.5 ha (0.697 sq mi). The parish was expanded under the Cheltenham Borough Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) (Leckhampton with Warden Hill Parish) Order 2018, to include an area to the north of its earlier boundaries. On 1 January 2019 the expanded parish was renamed from "Leckhampton" to "Leckhampton with Warden Hill".

The church belongs to the Diocese of Gloucester, and is a member of the developing group of South Cheltenham Churches along with St Philip and St James Church, Leckhampton, St Christopher, Warden Hill, and St Stephen's and Emmanuel.

Charlton Kings railway station was a small station in Gloucestershire serving the village of Charlton Kings and the southern outskirts of Cheltenham Spa.

The Croquet Association, which was formed as the United All England Croquet Association in 1897, is the national governing body for the sport of croquet in England. Until 1974 the association was responsible for croquet in the whole of the United Kingdom. The Scottish Croquet Association, formed in 1974, now has responsibility for croquet in Scotland. At the 2013 AGM the association formally relinquished control of the game in the other parts of the United Kingdom.Presidents of the association have included Sir Compton Mackenzie, who was President from 1953 to 1966. The association controls the rules of the game, in conjunction with the croquet associations of Australia, New Zealand and the United States. It also controls the regulations of tournaments for its member clubs. The Open Championship (association) of croquet originally dates back to 1867, but after a hiatus during the years 1883-1896 was reintroduced by the Croquet Association. This and the Golf Croquet Open Championship are the premier events in the UK of each code.

DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham (earlier known as Cheltenham Park Hotel), Charlton Kings, is a Regency building of historical significance. It was previously called Lilleybrook. It stands on the site of an ancient manor which was rebuilt and/or improved in about 1700 and again in 1816. In 1831 it was badly damaged by fire and in 1833 it was again rebuilt. This is the house which stands today. Over the next century it was the home to several notable families and in 1922 opened as a hotel. The building was renovated in 2017 and the hotel subsequently adopted the DoubleTree franchise. The hotel is managed by Michels & Taylor.

East Gloucestershire Cricket Club Ground was a cricket ground in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1883, when East Gloucestershire played Worcestershire.In 1888, Gloucestershire played Nottinghamshire in the grounds first first-class match. The second and final first-class match held on the ground came in 1903 when Gloucestershire played the Gentlemen of Philadelphia.No longer used for cricket, today the site of the ground is by the East Gloucestershire Tennis Club.

St Edward's School is an independent co-educational Roman Catholic school in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. The majority of pupils come to the school from St Edward's Preparatory School, its associated preparatory school, although a significant number come from schools across the county each year. Ullenwood is a village in the Coberley civil parish, near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. It is the site of a formerly secret civil defence bunker intended as a Regional Seat of Government in the event of nuclear war.It is the site of the former Ullenwood army camp which was used during the two World Wars as a U.S. military hospital. For three decades at the end of the 20th century, Ullenwood Camp was used each summer as accommodation for archaeologists engaged in excavating the site at nearby Crickley Hill. National Star College, an independent further education college and special school for people aged 16 to 25 with learning difficulties and physical disabilities, is based at Ullenwood Manor. The college grounds include a private 18-hole golf course used by Ullenwood Manor Golfing Society. Cotswold Hills Golf Club, founded in 1902, is also located at Ullenwood. Prior to becoming the National Star College, the Manor was known as Ullenwood Manor Preparatory School for Boys. It was a boarding school for boys aged up to 13 years old. Pupils came from the UK and overseas, and included children and grandchildren of famous politicians (e.g. Kwame Anthony Appiah) and royal families. The River Churn, commonly held to be one of, if not the primary sources of the River Thames, is joined within Coberley by a still longer tributary which has its source in the grounds of the National Star College.

The National Star College (previously known as the Star Centre) is an independent specialist further education college for people with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and associated learning difficulties. It is based at Ullenwood Manor in the village of Ullenwood, near the spa town of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. It is constituted as a company and registered charity under English law, using the official name National Star Centre for Disabled Youth.In June 2012, the National Star College received an 'Outstanding' rating from Ofsted. The outstanding rating was continued in the 2018 inspection.
