The National Museum of Ghana is in the Ghanaian capital, Accra. It is the largest and oldest of the six museums under the administration of the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board (GMMB). The museum building was opened on 5 March 1957 as part of Ghana's independence celebrations. The official opening was performed by the Duchess of Kent, Princess Marina. The Museum's first Director was A.W. Lawrence.Objects of archaeology, ethnography as well as fine art find place in the National Museum building.

Adabraka is a town in the Korley Klottey Municipal Assembly, a Municipality of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It was the first and the most posh neighborhood in Ghana during the British era.

The Holy Spirit Cathedral, located in Accra, is the main church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Accra. The first proposal to build a Catholic cathedral in Accra came from Apostolic Delegate David Matthews in 1947. This was enthusiastically taken up by Adolph Noser, who in 1950 became the first Bishop of Accra. Following a lengthy search for a suitable site, land in the West Ridge area of Adabraka was purchased from the British crown and the Methodist Church.The cathedral was designed by Joseph Jud, and groundbreaking took place in 1952. The first services took place the following year, although the building did not yet have a roof, and it was completed and consecrated in 1957. In 1958, the cathedral was given its own parish.

The Accra Technical University (ATU) was established in 1949 as a Technical School in Ghana and commissioned in 1957 as Accra Technical Institute before being converted into a Polytechnic in 2007 by the Parliament of Ghana.It was later given a university status, becoming Accra Technical University (ATU) in 2016. The school is located in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. Accra Technical University focuses on equipping students with practical skills by providing them with technical and vocational education. The school offers a range of academic programs including applied sciences, engineering, business, arts, and design. ATU continues to play a crucial role in providing technical education and contributing to the development of skilled professional Ls both in Ghana and abroad.

Ring Road Central is an urban arterial road in Accra, Ghana, forming the central segment of the city's ring-road network. The road links key nodes such as Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Independence Avenue, and the Accra Central Station, passing through dense commercial, transport, and residential districts. It is an artery for public transport and urban mobility, handling significant daily traffic volumes.

West Ridge is a neighbourhood of Accra, Ghana, bounded to the south by Kinbu Gardens. Barnes Road serves as the neighbourhood's western boundary, while the Independence Avenue/Liberation Avenue is the eastern boundary. Castle Road separates West Ridge from the northern neighbourhood of North Ridge. The Accra branch of the British Council is located in West Ridge, off Liberia Road. Originally planned as a neighborhood for civil servants and businessmen in the colonial era, West Ridge is gradually being transformed into a commercial district. Among the new office towers cited in the district are the Heritage Tower, Accra Financial Centre, Ridge Tower, and Cedi House. The Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, originally the Ambassador Hotel and built as a gift by the United Kingdom to Ghana after independence in 1957, is located in West Ridge and caters to business clientele. The area of West Ridge, North Ridge, and East Ridge is collectively referred to as "Ridge." This area is populated by several major embassies, including those of Germany and the United Kingdom. In addition, several of Accra's upmarket hotels, and several Ghanaian administrative offices are located in this district.

The Multimedia Group is a media group in Ghana. It was established in 1995 and has six radio stations, six news websites and a satellite television network.The group has won several local and international awards for its leadership in information communication in Ghana and the world. Its pioneer radio station, Joy FM was adjudged the second best radio station on the African continent by the British Broadcasting Corporation in 2006.

Kwame Nkrumah Avenue is a major avenue and one of the principal thoroughfares in Accra, the capital of Ghana. It stretches from Ring Road Central in Adabraka through Tudu to the Central Business District, connecting several important commercial, historical, and civic institutions.

Accra Central Station is the main railway station in Accra, the capital of Ghana. The station was completed in 1910, to serve the new Accra to Mangoase line, with railway offices built nearby. Prior to its construction, the area was a marshy valley. The line was steadily extended, and reached Kumasi in 1923. As a single track leads north from the station, capacity was a problem, but the station was not reconstructed, and from the 1950s, traffic began to decline.By 2011, the station had no service; it was instead used by market traders, while some people used abandoned trains as housing. In January 2019, a new once-daily service to Tema was introduced.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Accra covers the Greater Accra Region and parts of the Volta Region. There are 62 parishes and rectories. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Accra (Latin: Accraën(sis)) is the Metropolitan See for the ecclesiastical province of Accra in Ghana which includes the suffragan dioceses of Ho, Koforidua, Jasikan and Keta-Akatsi. The Latin title of the archdiocese is Archidioecesis Accraënsis, and the corporate title is Archdiocese of Accra. The cathedral parish for the archdiocese is the Holy Spirit Cathedral. Dominic Kodwo Andoh was the first Ghanaian native to become Archbishop of Accra. Installed in October 1971, he became the 3rd Ordinary for Accra since its establishment as a diocese.
