O'Higgins Park (Spanish: Parque O'Higgins, formerly known as Parque Cousiño), with an area of around 75 hectares (190 acres), is Santiago, Chile's second largest public park after Metropolitan Park. It is located in the center of the capital, in the Santiago Commune. The park, named after Bernardo O'Higgins (one of Chile's founding fathers), is a popular place for families to visit during weekends and holidays, especially during the national holiday on September 18, when a number of fondas and ramadas —traditional places for dancing, eating and drinking— are open to the public for a few days. Between 2011 to 2019, O’Higgins Park hosted the annual music festival Lollapalooza Chile.

ONEMI or National Office of Emergency of the Interior Ministry (Spanish: Oficina Nacional de Emergencia del Ministerio del Interior) is a Chilean government agency dedicated to the prevention, organization, coordination and information relative to natural disasters. After the 1960 Valdivia earthquake a committee was formed to solve problems caused by the earthquake. However, this committee was not dissolved afterwards and in 1974, it acquired by law independent status as governmental office. Other state funded agencies and services that cooperate with ONEMI are CONAF in terms related to forests and wildlife and OVDAS in monitoring volcanoes.

The Parque O'Higgins Circuit is a 11 turn, 2.287 km (1.421 mi) longtemporary street circuit located in the city of Santiago, Chile, and is used for the Santiago ePrix of the electric, single-seater ABB Formula E Championship. Its first use came on 26 January 2019, when it hosted the 2019 Santiago ePrix, and replaced the previous Santiago Street Circuit as the venue of the race.

Parque O'Higgins is a metro station on the Line 2 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is located in the middle of the east branch of the Autopista Central, on a raised embankment, just prior to an elevated viaduct that crosses Matta avenue. The station is named for the adjacent Parque O'Higgins, located west of the station. The station was opened on 31 March 1978 as part of the inaugural section of the line, between Los Héroes and Franklin.

Movistar Arena is a 17,000-seat multi-purpose indoor arena in Santiago, Chile. It is located inside O'Higgins Park, in downtown Santiago. Its main structure was built in 1956, but it remained unfinished until 1999 when the roof was completed. Buyer Peter Hiller opened it on April 15, 2006 as Arena Santiago with a seat-capacity of 12,000. Telefónica's cell phone division Movistar bought the stadium's naming rights, changing its name on October 6, 2008, while also expanding its capacity by 5,000 seats. It is one of the largest multi-purpose arenas in South America, with a total surface is 44,000 m². An additional 3,000 seats can be placed over the court during concerts, boosting the total capacity to 17,000 seats.

Franklin is a transfer station between the Line 2 and Line 6 of the Santiago Metro. Their namesake is the Franklin Neighborhood. The Line 2 station was opened on 31 March 1978 as the southern terminus of the inaugural section of the line, from Los Héroes. On 21 December 1978, the line was extended to Lo Ovalle. The Line 6 station was opened on 2 November 2017 as part of the inaugural section of the line, between Cerrillos and Los Leones.The station has a central mezzanine on the first level down containing turnstiles and a ticket booth. Stairs at the two northernmost corners of the mezzanine provide access to the platform level, whereas at south end of the mezzanine, one stair per platform go up to it. A passageway connects the mezzanine's east end to the only access to the station. The original entrance pavilion was replaced by the current more modest structure. It features two parallel escalators, one up and the other down, which are separated by a central unused space that is provisioned to accommodate two additional escalators. The escalators are flanked by two staircases.

Fantasilandia is a Chilean amusement park. The park opened in 1978 and is located in a corner of the O'Higgins Park in Santiago, Chile.On January 28, 1978 the park opened for first time with only 8 attractions, including the "Galaxy" coaster, "Mansion Siniestra", "Ford T" and "Century 2000", among others. Over the years the park has replaced many of its classic rides with modern rides like "Top Spin", "Xtreme Fall", and "Boomerang". In late 2007, Fantasilandia opened a new ride to replace the old ride "Splash". Called "Tsunami" (Shoot the Chute) it was built in Chile under licence of Intamin A.G of Switzerland. With this milestone the park celebrated its 30-year anniversary. The ride "Villa Magica" also opened in the Kids Zone, located next to "Cine Magic 3D" and fast food locations. In 2008 Fantasilandia opened the second Vekoma SLC in South America. It is called "Raptor" and cost around US$10,000,000. In 2009 three new rides opened in the Kids Zone area. These were "Rockin' Tug", "Toing & Boing" and "Buggy Jump", all of them made in Italy by Zamperla. In late 2010 the Wave Swinger (a flying chairs ride) made by Zierer was opened and is called "Volare" A German built Condor ride was introduced in late 2011. It is called Ikarus. In December, 2012, Fantasilandia added an Air Race ride, built by Zamperla Rides, celebrating 35 years of the opening of the park A year later, the S.D.C Galaxy rollercoaster was closed due to an accident and the "Fun Karting" ride was removed. Also a restaurant with kiddie theme was added in front of the Air Race, and the construction for the new Mack Rides Twist 'n' Splash ride begun (which opened the 21st of December of that year) In December 2014, Fantasilandia started opening the "Moby Dick" ride, manufactured by Wisdom Rides, which opened officially to public in January 2015

Presidente Pedro Aguirre Cerda is an underground metro station on the Line 6 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. This station is named for the name of the commune and the president of Chile of the same name who governed between 1938 and 1941. The station was opened on 2 November 2017 as part of the inaugural section of the line, between Cerrillos and Los Leones.

El Llano is an underground metro station on the Line 2 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station was opened on 21 December 1978 as part of the extension of the line from Franklin to Lo Ovalle.

Teatro Caupolicán (Caupolicán Theatre) is a theatre and music venue located on the San Diego street in Santiago, Chile. It was opened in 1936. During its long history has hosted sporting, political, and cultural events. Currently is an important concert venue for popular Chilean and international artists, with a seating capacity of 4,500 and a total capacity of 5,400 (including standing places).

The Basilica of the Heart of Mary is a Catholic Church in the city of Santiago, Chile. Built by the Claretians, it was inaugurated on 7 December 1879, being designated as a basilica in 1929 and as a National Monument of Chile on 14 January 1987.
