Christ Church is an unincorporated community in Lancaster County in the U. S. state of Virginia.

Irvington is a town on the Rappahannock River in Lancaster County, Virginia, United States. The population was 432 at the 2010 census. Located on a peninsula known as the Northern Neck, it has been designated a historic district.

The Tides Inn is a waterfront resort just off the Rappahannock River in Irvington, Virginia, United States, and located within the Irvington National Register District. Opened in 1947 by entrepreneur E.A. Stephens, it is now owned and operated by Enchantment Group. The East Coast resort on Virginia's Northern Neck, was known for its regional cooking and amenities such as golf and boating; the Tides Inn slogan "Quiet Quality" appeared in advertisements in The New Yorker.

USS Aquamarine (PYc-7) was the former yacht Siele launched in April 1926 by Pusey and Jones Corporation, Wilmington, Delaware. In 1940 Siele was sold and renamed Sea Wolf which was purchased by the Navy in January 1941 and commissioned Aquamarine in April. Though given a "patrol yacht, coastal" designation the yacht was assigned to the Naval Research Laboratory for acoustical research during World War II. After naval service the yacht was again under the name Sea Wolf until sold in 1954 and renamed Miss Ann, listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

North Weems is an unincorporated community in Lancaster County in the U. S. state of Virginia.

Corotoman was a 17th and 18th century plantation on the Rappahannock River in Lancaster County, Virginia, United States. Corotoman was the residence of Robert Carter I (1662/63 – 4 August 1732), a colonial Governor of Virginia and one of the wealthiest men in the British colonies in North America. Corotoman was located on a point overlooking the Rappahannock River, and flanked by Carter's Creek and Corrotoman River to its east and west respectively.

Founded in 1886, Weems is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Lancaster County in the U. S. state of Virginia. It was first drawn as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. Christ Church, physically located in Weems, was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1961. Corotoman was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.The community is in southern Lancaster County, at the end of Virginia State Route 222 (Weems Road) on the north bank of the tidal Rappahannock River, where it is joined by Carter Creek. Via VA 222 it is 6 miles (10 km) southwest of Kilmarnock, the largest town in the county. Aside from its historical significance as described above, Weems is a small, mostly residential community, but does operate waterside businesses and is a popular seaman's spot for berthing or entering Chesapeake Bay. Its majority of residents are middle aged to retirement age (45–80).

Pop Castle is a historic plantation house located near White Stone, Lancaster County, Virginia. It was built in 1855, and is a two-story, five-bay, gable roofed frame dwelling with Greek Revival style details. It has a single pile, central passage plan and two exterior end chimneys. It rests partly on the foundations of an 18th-century dwelling. Also on the property are the contributing antebellum granary and a roughly contemporary smokehouse. The property also includes the archaeological remains of most related service structures.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

White Stone is a town in Lancaster County, Virginia, United States. The population was 380 at the 2020 census. White Stone is one of many small towns located in Virginia's Northern Neck region.
