Dasmariñas (colloquially shortened to Dasma), officially the City of Dasmariñas (Filipino: Lungsod ng Dasmariñas), is a 1st class component city in the province of Cavite, Philippines. With a land area of 90.1 square kilometers (34.8 sq mi)  and a population of 703,141 people  according to the 2020 census, it is the largest city both in terms of area and population in Cavite. Being located just 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Imus and 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Manila, the growing congestion and outward urban expansion of the Manila Metropolitan area has led to its rapid development in the late 1900s. This growth is manifested by the influx of major shopping malls, hospitals, universities, banks, industrial parks, and the growing number of residential subdivisions accommodating its growing population.

The Immaculate Conception Parish Church, also known as the Dasmariñas Church, is the first Catholic parish church in the city of Dasmariñas, province of Cavite, Philippines. The stone church was constructed right after the establishment of Dasmariñas as a separate parish in 1866. The church and convent was the site of bloodshed during the Battle of Perez Dasmariñas of the Philippine revolution against Spain. It was declared as an important historical structure by the National Historical Institute (now National Historical Commission of the Philippines) with the placing of a historical marker in 1986. On 7 December 2002 the Venerated and Miraculous Image of the Patroness of the City of Dasmariñas the Lady of Immaculate Conception was Episcopally Crowned by the Bishop Emeritus of Imus Most Rev.Manuel Sobreviñas D.D. and on the next day, 8 December 2002 on the Occasion of The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception the Parish Church was Dedicated to God by the then Bishop of Imus Most Rev. Luis Antonio G. Tagle SthD. It celebrated its 150th Jubilee Year on July 5, 2017.

The De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI) is a medical school and allied health institution in Dasmariñas, Cavite, Philippines. It was established in 1979 and is a constituent of De La Salle Philippines. The institute consists of three service divisions: the academic division - consisting of the colleges and a senior high school (all of which are only medicine and allied health-related courses), its teaching hospital - De La Salle University Medical Center, and a research facility - Angelo King Medical Research Center. It is situated nearby the De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, a separate De La Salle campus where it is often mistaken as part of due to its proximity.

The City of Imus Grandstand and Track Oval (CIGTO) is a football and athletics stadium in Imus, Cavite, Philippines. It was inaugurated on October 12, 2018 and is situated beside the Ospital ng Imus.The stadium was among the venues for men's football at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. It was also used as one of the venues for the 2022 AFF Women's Championship. The venue will also be used as the home stadium of Mendiola 1991 for the 2022–23 Philippines Football League season, It also served as the venue for Panfilo Lacson campaign for the 2022 Philippine presidential election.

De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (Filipino: Pamantasang De La Salle–Dasmariñas) also referred to by its acronym DLSU-D or La Salle–Dasma; is a private Roman Catholic, Lasallian co-educational secondary and higher education institution run by the De La Salle Brothers of the Philippine District of the Christian Brothers in Dasmariñas, Philippines. It is a member of De La Salle Philippines, a network of 16 Lasallian educational institutions. DLSU-D, despite its name, is an autonomous university separate from the De La Salle University in Manila. Both universities are members of the De La Salle Philippines System. Also, approximately three kilometres (1.9 mi) from it is the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, a separate De La Salle campus that specializes in medicine and allied health education which is often mistaken as part of DLSU-D due to the proximity of both campuses.

The Imus Heritage Park is a memorial park in Imus, Cavite, Philippines commemorating the Battle of Alapan. It is known for the Shrine of the National Flag of the Philippines (Filipino: Dambana ng Pambansang Watawat ng Pilipinas)The National Historical Commission of the Philippines recognizes the Imus Heritage Park as a National Historic Landmark through Resolution No. 5 of May 26, 1993. The park has also been a venue of National Flag Day commemorations.The park covers an area of 5 hectares (12 acres), purportedly at the site where the Battle of Alapan occurred. It also features a 35.05 m (115.0 ft) flagpole, which used to be the old Independence Flagpole in Rizal Park in Manila. In 2019, a sanctum of Katipunan revolutionary flags was unveiled at the National Flag Shrine. A 10 m (33 ft) sculpture known as the Inang Laya ('Mother of Freedom') was inaugurated the following year.

Dasmariñas Bagong Bayan (DBB), also known as Dasmariñas Resettlement Area, is an area located in the City of Dasmariñas established in 1975 through Letter of Instruction No. 19 signed by former President Ferdinand Marcos. It is the largest resettlement area in the country.

SM City Dasmariñas is a large shopping mall owned by SM Prime Holdings. It is the second SM Supermall to be opened in Cavite, Philippines. It is located along kilometer 35, Governor's Drive, Sampaloc 1, Dasmariñas, Cavite. It has a land area of 12.7 hectares (31 acres) and a total gross floor area of 201,645 m2 (2,170,490 sq ft), making it the largest shopping mall in the province surpassing its sister mall, SM City Bacoor and currently holds the title as the 7th largest SM Supermall built by the company. The mall attracts a daily pedestrian count of 400,000 during weekends and 150,000 during weekdays, making it one of the most profitable and successful SM Supermalls built and operated by the leading mall developer.

The Lyceum of the Philippines University – Cavite (Filipino: Pamantasang Liseo ng Pilipinas – Kabite, also referred to by its acronym LPU – C is a private, non-sectarian institute of higher education located in the City of General Trias, in the province of Cavite. The campus opened its doors to the public in 2008, serving as the fifth campus of the Lyceum of the Philippines University.

The Battle of Alapan (Filipino: Labanan sa Alapan, Spanish: Batalla de Alapan) was fought on May 28, 1898, and was the first military victory of the Filipino Revolutionaries led by Emilio Aguinaldo after his return to the Philippines from Hong Kong. After the American naval victory in the Battle of Manila Bay, Aguinaldo returned from exile in Hong Kong, reconstituted the Philippine Revolutionary Army, and fought against the Spanish troops in a garrison in Alapan, Imus, Cavite. The battle lasted for five hours, from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. After the victory at Alapan, Aguinaldo unfurled the Philippine flag for the first time, and hoisted it at the Teatro Caviteño in Cavite Nuevo (present-day Cavite City) in front of Filipino revolutionaries and more than 270 captured Spanish troops. A group of American sailors of the US Asiatic Squadron also witnessed the unfurling. Flag Day is celebrated every May 28 in honor of this battle. This day also marks the start of the national Independence Day celebrations, as well as of the province-wide Kalayaan Festival celebrated all over Cavite province, honoring the province's role in the achievement of national independence.

Daang Hari (literally the "Road [of the] King"), also known as the Las Piñas–Muntinlupa–Laguna–Cavite Link Road (LPMLC Link Road), is a collector road that links southern Metro Manila to the province of Cavite in the Philippines. It begins as a north–south road from Commerce Avenue, just south of the Alabang–Zapote Road running for 5.9 kilometers (3.7 mi) on the boundary of Las Piñas and Muntinlupa. It then runs east–west for about 9.2 kilometers (5.7 mi) from its junction with Daang Reyna, winding through the cities of Bacoor, Imus, Dasmariñas, and General Trias. The road was completed in 2005 by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and is composed of two roads, the Las Piñas–Muntinlupa–San Pedro Road (which include the present Daang Reyna) within Metro Manila, and the original Daang Hari through Bacoor and Imus.
