Dublin Landings is a commercial and residential development in the Docklands Strategic Development Zone in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), Dublin 1, Ireland. The development includes 300 private rented sector apartments, 70,000 sq m of commercial space and 1,600 sq m of retail and leisure space.The 2.35 hectare site was developed by the Ballymore Group and Oxley Holdings and occupiers include tenants such as WeWork, the NTMA, National Asset Management Agency and the Central Bank of Ireland. Greystar acquired 268 apartments and 210 car parking spaces in July 2019 for an estimated €154.6m.A South Korean real estate investment trust, JR AMC, acquired 2 Dublin Landings for €106.5m in November 2018 and the Central Bank of Ireland acquired building 4 and 5 for a combined €210m in the same period. The 2 Dublin Landings building has since been renamed Treasury Dock. In December 2019, the developers agreed to sell Number 3 Dublin Landings to IPUT plc for €115m.The development includes the original planned site of the headquarters of Anglo Irish Bank.

Matheson (previously Matheson Ormsby Prentice), is an Irish law firm partnership based in the IFSC in Dublin, which specialises in multinational tax schemes (e.g. for clients in Ireland such as Microsoft, Google and Abbot), and tax structuring of special purpose vehicles (e.g. Section 110 securitisation SPVs). Matheson is estimated to be Ireland's largest corporate law firm. Matheson state in the International Tax Review that their tax department is: "significantly the largest tax practice group amongst Irish law firms".

North Wall (Irish: Port Thuaidh) is an area east of the inner north side of Dublin, along the River Liffey. It contains the entire north side of Dublin Docklands and includes the International Financial Services Centre, Spencer Dock, and further east the main part of Dublin Port. The area is dominated by a combination of older housing, dockland activities and new development through the Docklands Strategic Development Zone Planning Scheme, including extensive construction of new retail, residential and office spaces. Transport in the area includes the Dublin Area Rapid Transit (Docklands railway station on Sheriff Street), the LUAS (red line stations George's Dock, Mayor Square, Spencer Dock, and The Point, and 8 dublinbikes stations (at Custom House Quay, City Quay, Excise Walk, Lime Street, Guild Street, Convention Centre, New Central Bank, and The Point).

North Wall was one of Dublin's six original rail termini, the others being Westland Row (now Pearse Station), Amiens Street (now Connolly Station), Kingsbridge (now Heuston Station), Broadstone and Harcourt Street (now a bar and nightclub complex).

Abbotstown is a townland in the civil parish of Castleknock in Fingal, Ireland. It is also the name of an historical demesne and country estate that is close to Blanchardstown. Historically the estate belonged to a number of aristocratic families. When these neighbouring families intermarried, their combined estates in Abbotstown and the townland of Sheephill were usually, though informally, called "Abbotstown". Despite a significant level of suburban development in the wider Dublin 15 area from the 1980s onwards, Abbotstown and Sheephill remained largely undeveloped, as the demesne was held by several state bodies. Today, the majority of the combined demesne remains unspoilt and now accommodates the administration offices and sporting grounds of the various bodies associated with Ireland's National Sports Campus. Abbotstown proper, however, does not contain any part of the campus nor the eponymous Abbotstown House itself. Instead, almost the whole of the land is given over to Connolly Hospital and the "St Francis Hospice".

The Royal Canal (Irish: An Chanáil Ríoga) is a canal originally built for freight and passenger transportation from Dublin to Longford in Ireland. It is one of two canals from Dublin to the River Shannon and was built in direct competition to the Grand Canal. The canal fell into disrepair in the late 20th century, but much of it has since been restored for navigation. The length of the canal to the River Shannon was reopened on 1 October 2010, but a final spur branch, to Longford Town, remains closed.

Clúid (Irish: clúid – shelter) is an Irish non-governmental organisation and housing agency, based in Dublin which was originally established as the St. Pancras Housing Association in January 1994 with a mandate to provide public housing. As of July 2023, Clúid was the largest housing agency in Ireland with more than 26,000 residents and more than 10,000 homes under management and with turnover of €93.95m in 2022. The organisation also had net assets of €1.8 billion and managed housing in each of the 26 counties of the Republic of Ireland. Clúid is also involved in the provision of cost rental homes. The organisation develops housing and apartments itself as well as upgrading, refurbishing and extending its existing stock of housing. The organisation has also acquired turnkey completed developments and has sought to "forward-fund" apartment and housing developments. The organisation is a registered lobby group and lobbies ministers and government departments in relation to housing issues – including the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.

Spencer Dock (Irish: Duga Spencer) is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2009 as one of four stops on an extension of the Red Line through the docklands to The Point. The stop is located on a section of Mayor Street Upper which is closed to other traffic, just next to Central Square. It provides access to many of the developments in the area, including Convention Centre Dublin.It is located c. 200m east of the Spencer Dock Bridge which carries the LUAS over the Royal Canal. Spencer Dock is served by Dublin Bus routes 33D, 33X, 53A, 142, 151, 53A, 90, and 757; and is the closest Luas stop to Docklands railway station, approximately 350m walk away.

St. Barnabas' Church was a Church of Ireland church on Upper Sherrif Street, East Wall, in Dublin's docklands. It was sometimes called the Mariners Church.

The U2 Tower was a cancelled skyscraper which was proposed to be constructed in Dublin, Ireland. The site proposed was in the South Docklands (SODO) campshires, at the corner of Sir John Rogerson's Quay and Britain Quay, by the confluence of the River Liffey, the River Dodder, and the Grand Canal. The design announced on 12 October 2007 was by Foster and Partners. Reports suggested a building height of 120 metres, "well over 120 metres", and 180 metres, any of which would have made it the tallest building on the island of Ireland. The building was planned to be an apartment building, with a recording studio owned by the rock group U2 in a "pod" at the top. Construction was to begin in 2008 and end in 2011, at a cost of €200m. In October 2008, the project was cancelled because of the economic downturn at the time. Proposals to revive the plan were reported in July 2013. However, they did not come to fruition and the 79-metre, 22-storey Capital Dock development has since been built on the site.

The Liffey Service Tunnel is a service tunnel for various pipelines in Dublin, Ireland, owned by Dublin City Council.

Capital Dock is a 22-storey mixed-use development at the junction of Sir John Rogerson's Quay and Britain Quay in the Dublin docklands. Developed by Kennedy Wilson, the site was acquired in 2012 and construction finished in 2018. Upon completion, the 79-metre tower became the tallest storeyed building in the Republic of Ireland, and the third tallest on the island of Ireland.
