Mont-sur-Rolle (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃ syʁ ʁɔl] , literally Mont on Rolle) is a municipality in the district of Nyon in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. It is located 2–3 kilometres (1–2 miles) from the shores of Lac Léman (Lake Geneva), above the lake-side town of Rolle. The area is famed for its wine-making fields which has a distinctive fizzy-fruit flavour.
