Henllan Amgoed

Henllanfallteg (Welsh: Henllan Fallteg) is a community in the west of Carmarthenshire, Wales. It comprises the villages of Cwmfelin Boeth, Henllan Amgoed, Hiraeth, Llanfallteg, and Rhydywrach. The community population taken at the 2011 census was 480.The community is bordered by the communities of: Cilymaenllwyd; Llanboidy; and Whitland, all being in Carmarthenshire; and by Llanddewi Velfrey and Clynderwen in Pembrokeshire.

Whitland railway station serves the town of Whitland in Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is located on the West Wales Line from Swansea. To the west of the station, a branch line diverges towards Pembroke; the main line continues to Milford Haven and Fishguard Harbour. The Whitland and Cardigan Railway (closed in 1962) diverged from the Fishguard/Milford Haven line 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Whitland. Passenger services are operated by Transport for Wales Rail using a mixture of Class 150, Class 153 and Class 175s, and Great Western Railway who run services using Class 800 trains on summer Saturdays from London Paddington to Pembroke Dock.

Whitland Abbey (Welsh: Abaty Hendy-gwyn ar Daf or simply Y Tŷ Gwyn ar Daf; Latin: Albalanda) was a country house and Cistercian abbey in the parish of Llangan, in what was the hundred of Narberth, Carmarthenshire, Wales. The town which grew up nearby is now named Whitland after it. It was widely known as Ty Gwyn ar Daf, meaning White House on the Taf, in reference to the country house originally built here before it became a monastic settlement which was known under that name. It is most associated with being the place where Hywel Dda drew up his laws around 940. It functioned as a Cistercian monastery between the 12th and 16th centuries.

Login Halt railway station served the hamlet of Login, Carmarthenshire, Wales, from 1875 to 1962 on the Whitland and Cardigan Railway.

Login is a hamlet in Carmarthenshire, Wales, in the Taf valley and sits on both sides of the meandering River Taf. A stone bridge crosses the river approximately 100 metres from a ford near the weir, which used to be the original crossing place. The postal address of Login covers a larger area than that bounded by the village signs. The district is called Cilymaenllwyd, and the main chapel for the region called Calfaria is located in the village. The region of Login consists of streams and valleys and hills, with a sparsely populated community. Cardi Bach ('little Cardi') was the local name given to the Whitland and Cardigan Railway that once ran alongside the River Taf between the towns of Whitland and Cardigan. The railway was closed in 1963 under the Beeching initiative. The Landsker Borderlands Trail, a public route for walkers, passes through Login. Some of the members of the Rebecca fraternity, active in the Rebecca Riots, were resident in Login. One of the hills is named "Radical Hill"; maybe this is in reference to the rebels, or perhaps it refers further back, to the stones deposited from the glaciers that once scoured this valley.The village is known for its wildlife: herons, kingfisher and otters are sometimes seen on the river. Red kites and owls occupy the air at different times of day and night, and several types of bats have been recorded at dusk and dawn.
