Pointe Sud de Moming

The Pointe Nord de Moming (3,863 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, located west of Täsch in the canton of Valais. It lies on the range between the Weisshorn and the Zinalrothorn, north of the Col de Moming.

L'Epaule is a minor summit north of the Zinalrothorn. Because of its small prominence it was included in the enlarged list of alpine four-thousanders.

The Zinalrothorn (4,221 m) is a mountain in the Pennine Alps in Switzerland. Its name comes from the village of Zinal lying on the north side and from the German word Rothorn which means Red Peak. When it was first climbed in 1864 the mountain was known locally as Moming.

The Schalihorn (3,975 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, located between Zinal and Täsch in the canton of Valais. It is separated from the Zinalrothorn by the Moming Pass (3,777 m) and from the Weisshorn by the Schalijoch (3,750 m).

The Pointe du Mountet is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, situated west of Zermatt in Valais. It is located south of the Zinalrothorn.

The Äschhorn is a mountain of the Pennine Alps, located north of Zermatt in Valais. The main summit (Ober Äschhorn) has an elevation of 3,669 metres while the lower summit (Unter Äschhorn) has an elevation of 3,618 metres. The Äschhorn is separated from the Zinalrothorn by the Ober Äschjoch (3,622 m).

The Moming Glacier (French: Glacier de Moming) is a 3 km long glacier (2005) situated in the Pennine Alps in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. In 1973 it had an area of 6.39 km2.

The Rothorn Hut (German: Rothornhütte) is an alpine hut, located above Zermatt in the canton of Valais. It is located at a height of 3,198 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Zinalrothorn. It can be accessed via the Trift valley by a trail from Zermatt.

The Trifthorn is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, located west of Zermatt in the canton of Valais. It is located in the middle of the ridge connecting the Ober Gabelhorn from the Zinalrothorn.

The Blanc de Moming is a mountain of the Pennine Alps, located south of Zinal in the canton of Valais. It lies between the Besso and the Zinalrothorn. It is connected to the Zinalrothorn by a ridge named Arête du Blanc.

The Weisshorn (German, lit. white peak/mountain) is a major peak of Switzerland and the Alps, culminating at 4,506 metres (14,783 feet) above sea level. It is part of the Pennine Alps and is located between the valleys of Anniviers and Zermatt in the canton of Valais. In the latter valley, the Weisshorn is one of the many 4000ers surrounding Zermatt, with Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn. The Weisshorn was first climbed in 1861 from Randa by the Irish physicist John Tyndall, accompanied by the guides J.J. Bennen and Ulrich Wenger. Nowadays, the Weisshorn Hut is used on the normal route. The Weisshorn is considered by many mountaineers to be the most beautiful mountain in the Alps and Switzerland for its pyramidal shape and pure white slopes.In April and May 1991, two consecutive rockslides took place from a cliff above the town of Randa on the east side of the massif, below the Bis Glacier.

The Wellenkuppe is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, located west of Zermatt in the canton of Valais. It lies on the range separating the Val d'Anniviers from the Mattertal, just east of the Ober Gabelhorn.
