Thomas VanMetre or Vanmetre House is a historic home located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia, USA. It was built in 1838 and is a two-story, five-bay, red brick vernacular "I"-house. It has a side gable roof and a single bay, pedimented portico supported by Doric order columns. Also on the property is summer kitchen (c. 1838).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

The Crossroad area is the site of the 18th century Strayer-Couchman House listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Strayer-Couchman House, also known as the Couchman House or Susan Couchman House, is a historic home located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built about 1850, and is a two-story, L-shaped, clapboard sided log house in the Greek Revival style. It has a gable roof and a one-story, one-bay, period entrance porch with a flat roof. The oldest section of the rear ell was built about 1810 and connected to the main house between 1860 and 1880.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Jacob VanDoren House, also known as "Allen Dale," is a historic home located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built between 1830 and 1836, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, stucco coated stone house in the Greek Revival style. It has a hip roof with balustraded deck and measures 49 feet wide by 44 feet deep. It features a one-story, one bay, entrance porch with a hip roof supported by Ionic order columns.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Opequon Golf Club, also known as the Stonebridge Golf Club and Martinsburg Golf Club, is a historic country club clubhouse located at Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. The clubhouse was built in 1922, and is a one-story, Adirondack Lodge Style stone building with a wraparound porch on the north and west sides. It has a steep gable roof with a chimney at the west end. The porches have hip roofs and feature exposed rafter ends and stone columns. It sits on a raised basement. The building was added to on the east end in 1955. West Virginia Senator Charles James Faulkner (1847 - 1929) was a founding member and served as first president of the Opequon Golf Club.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Miller Tavern and Farm is a historic home and farm located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. The main house is L-shaped and consists of a vernacular tavern building, built about 1813, to which is appended a Greek Revival-style "I"-house built about 1831. The house of painted brick and wood construction. It has an intersecting gable roof structure clad in standing seam metal. Also on the contributing property is the Dr. John Magruder House (c. 1880), privy (c. 1935), smokehouse (c. 1900), barn (c. 1900), bank barn (c. 1900), and two sheds (c. 1900).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Rush-Miller House is a historic home located near Smoketown, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It is a two-story, L-shaped, stone dwelling with a gable roof. It is five bays wide and three bays deep. The rear ell was built about 1810 in the Federal style. The front two-story section was added about 1873. It is five bays wide and is of pounded rubble limestone in the Romanesque style. Also on the property is a stone bank barn (1909), stone and frame smoke house, and a stone springhouse.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Files Crossroad is an unincorporated community in Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States. The community is located east of Martinsburg on West Virginia Route 45 at its crossroads with County Route 45/4. The community was originally known as Smoketown, hence the name of its historic Smoketown Cemetery. The Rush-Miller House, located near Files Crossroad, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Tuscarora Creek in Berkeley County, West Virginia, is an 11.4-mile-long (18.3 km) tributary of Opequon Creek, which drains into the Potomac River in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.Located in the tip of the Mountain State's Eastern Panhandle, Tuscarora Creek flows through the city of Martinsburg before draining into Opequon Creek near the Van Metre Ford Bridge. The stream's headwaters are on the eastern flanks of North Mountain, upstream from Poor House Farm Park. The creek was named after the Tuscarora Indians.

Van Metre Ford Stone Bridge is a historic stone arch bridge located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. Built by Pennsylvania builder Silas Harry, it was built in 1832, and is a three span bridge crossing Opequon Creek. It is 132 feet long and constructed of ashlar limestone. The center span measures 32 feet and the two side spans are each 29.5 feet long.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. A historic marker at the bridge says: Named for the property owners this stone bridge built in 1832 across Opequon Creek was major improvement for travellers on Warm Springs Road connecting Alexandria and Bath Va., site of famous mineral waters. The Berkeley County Court established a commission to study and contract for construction of bridge. Silas Harry erected at local expense 165 foot bridge at reported cost of $3,700. The bridge was replaced by a modern, two-lane bridge in 2016. The historic stone bridge remains as a pedestrian bridge.
