Robert E. Campbell House

Kelly Butte is a hill in west Springfield, Oregon, United States.The butte was named for John Kelly, who came to the Oregon Country in 1843 as an employee of the Hudson's Bay Company. A native of County Wexford, Ireland, he had previously lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. From Oregon he returned to the United States, served in the Mexican–American War, and returned to Oregon in 1849 as a wagonmaster with the U.S. Mounted Rifles. He worked as a stock trader between Oregon and California, and eventually took a Donation Land Claim near Roseburg, Oregon. He came to Springfield in 1866, where he became a miller and lumber contractor until 1869. He returned to Roseburg, serving in the land office for the next 8 years. He worked in Portland as a customs collector from 1876 to 1880, and for a time was a commissioner of the Northern Pacific Railway in Montana.

The Chase Gardens Residential Grouping is a collection of five houses built during 1889-1945 located in Eugene, Oregon that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Lane Transit District (LTD) is a public agency that provides public transportation in Lane County, Oregon, United States. The transit district serves the Eugene and Springfield metropolitan areas, including the neighboring cities of Coburg, Junction City, Creswell, Cottage Grove, Veneta, and Lowell. LTD began service in 1970 with 18 buses and two vans, and today carries roughly 10.5 million customers annually with a fleet of 111 buses. Many of LTD's riders are students; University of Oregon and Lane Community College students ride by simply showing their student I.D. Student fees subsidize both programs, as well as limited late-night service until about 1 a.m. In 2022, the system had a ridership of 5,572,300, or about 17,900 per weekday as of the third quarter of 2023. A board of directors, whose members are appointed by the Governor of Oregon, governs LTD. A combination of passenger fares, payroll taxes, and state and federal money fund the system. According to LTD's Website, LTD operates 111 buses, which includes both standard and low-floor buses, in length of 30-foot, 40-foot, and 60-foot (articulated buses) for regular services. Among those 111 vehicles, 11 of those are the 60-foot BRT vehicles used for EmX service. All LTD buses are wheelchair-accessible, since 1985. The district currently operates 45 hybrid-electric buses, and 11 electric buses.

The Whilamut Passage Bridge is a pair of bridges across the Willamette River in Eugene, Oregon, U.S. The west span was completed in 2011. The east span was completed and opened in August 2013. They carry Interstate 5 traffic and replaced an earlier bridge completed in 1961. Construction on the bridges began in 2009 and cost $204 million.

Glenwood is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon, United States. Located between the cities of Springfield and Eugene, on the route of the former Pacific Highway, which is now named Franklin Boulevard. Glenwood is in Springfield's annexation and has a Eugene postal address.

Knickerbocker Bicycle Bridge (officially the Willie Knickerbocker Bridge) is a bridge across the Willamette River in Eugene, Oregon, United States. The bridge was dedicated in 1980.The bridge was originally constructed to carry a Eugene Water & Electric Board water main for $330,000. The city and county added the bridge deck, rails, and approaches for $110,000.The bridge is named for Willie Knickerbocker (1868–1960), "The Father of Bicycling in Eugene".

The Oakway Center is a shopping center in Eugene, Oregon. It is one of the three shopping malls in the area. The annual sales are $1 to 2.5 million (D&B: $1,300,000). Oakway Center is anchored by Bed Bath and Beyond, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy, and Trader Joe's. It opened in 1966 as Oakway Mall, with an Albertsons supermarket, Tiffany's Drugstore, and Oakway Department Store as anchors. The Oakway Department store closed after only six years and was subdivided. Albertsons moved to a new store in 1990 and converted to TJ Maxx the same year. After Tiffany's closed in 1998, it became a Borders Books & Music, which closed in 2011 and was rumored to become an H&M. TJ Maxx moved across the street in 2005 and was subdivided among other retailers, including White House/Black Market. In 2013 Nordstrom Rack announced that they would open a new store where Borders Books & Music was located.On May 21, 2020, it was announced that Pier 1 Imports would be closing all stores, including the Oakway Center location.

Springfield is a city in Lane County, Oregon, United States. Located in the Southern Willamette Valley, it is within the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. Separated from Eugene to the west, mainly by Interstate 5, Springfield is the second-most populous city in the metropolitan area after Eugene. As of the 2020 census, the city has a total population of 61,851, making it the 9th most populous city in Oregon. The Briggs family first settled the Springfield area, arriving in 1848. The community was incorporated as a city in 1885. The city was named after a natural spring located in a field or prairie within the current city boundaries. For the majority of the 20th century, the economy of Springfield was largely dependent on the Oregon timber industry; since the 1990s, however, the economy has diversified, with PeaceHealth now the largest employer in the city. Public education in the city is provided by the Springfield School District.

The Shoppes at Gateway, formerly Gateway Mall, is a shopping center located in Springfield, Oregon, United States owned and managed by Balboa Retail Properties. It has 820,000 square feet (76,000 m2) of retail space. The mall opened in 1990 and is located next to Interstate 5, which largely divides the cities of Eugene and Springfield. Located at the mall is one Cinemark theater and 58 retail stores.

The Howard A. Hall House, located in Eugene, Oregon, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Washburne Historic District in Springfield, Oregon was established in 1985 and added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1987. The district includes 29 full blocks and five partial blocks, and it is roughly bounded by A Street on the south, G Street on the north, Pioneer Parkway on the west, and 10th Street on the east. Its total area encompasses 84 acres. Springfield General Hospital, now an apartment building within the district, is individually listed on the NRHP.

Pre's Trail, located on the north side of the Willamette River in Eugene, Oregon, United States, popularly referred to as "Track Town USA", is a four-mile-long running and walking trail named after heralded University of Oregon athlete Steve Prefontaine. The woodchip-and-bark trail features riparian scenery, including grasslands, duck ponds, and woods, as well as guide signs with trail maps at each of three primary trailheads. Near downtown Eugene, in Alton Baker Park, Pre's Trail is part of an extensive network of running trails in and around the university town and neighboring Springfield.
