Kukovo

Vrbovec (pronounced [ʋəɾˈbɔːʋəts]; in older sources also Verbovic; German: Tiefental or Tiefenthal) is an abandoned settlement in the Municipality of Kočevje in southern Slovenia. It was inhabited by Gottschee Germans. In 1941, during the Second World War, its population was evicted. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.The local church was dedicated to Our Lady of the Snows and was a pilgrimage church. It was demolished in 1951.

Višnje (pronounced [ˈʋiːʃnjɛ]) is a village south of Ambrus in the Municipality of Ivančna Gorica in central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.The local church is dedicated to Saints Phillip and James and belongs to the Parish of Ambrus. It was first mentioned in written documents dating to 1136, but burned down in 1943. It was rebuilt in 1968.

It lies southeast of Ambrus in the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.
