It lies south of the town of Ribnica on the main road to Dolenja Vas. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

It is now part of the town of Ribnica. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. The settlement included the hamlet of Lepovče to the east, on the other side of the railroad tracks.
