Elk Mountain Brewing Company is a microbrewery in Parker, Colorado.

The Seventeen Mile House is a historic site and open space located at 8181 S. Parker Rd. in Centennial, Colorado. It is a 33-acre former stagecoach stop with a square log structure covered with clapboard. It was a stopping place during the 1800s along the Smoky Hill Trail. It is one of the last two remaining trail houses left on the trail. Mary Hightower was the original owner of the house, having moved there in 1866. It was almost torn down in 1977 until negative publicity stopped it from happening. The site was zoned for commercial development until the County of Arapahoe acquired the land in 2001.

Parker Cemetery, also known as J.S. Parker Cemetery, is a historic cemetery in Parker, Colorado. James S. Parker donated three acres for Parker Cemetery around 1884, at which time it held the graves of his two sons. The following year, four early settlers who were buried on a hill just east of the present-day intersection of Parker Road (Highway 83) and E-470 were reinterred at Parker Cemetery. The earliest known grave is for Jonathan Tallman who was killed by Native Americans in 1870. Parker (died 1910) and his wife Mattie (died 1887) are also buried there. In 1911, the title to the cemetery was transferred to J.S. Parker Cemetery Association.

Parker is a home rule municipality in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. As a self-declared "town" under the home rule statutes, Parker is the second most populous town in the county; Castle Rock is the most populous (the community of Highlands Ranch, with a population of over 100,000, is an unincorporated CDP). In recent years, Parker has become a commuter town at the southeasternmost corner of the Denver metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census the town population was 58,512. Parker is now the 19th most populous municipality in the state of Colorado.

The Sulphur Gulch is one of the tributaries of the Cherry Creek and is located in the U.S. states of Colorado. It is part of the Eastern Plains.

The Ruth Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church, also known as Parker United Methodist Church, is a historic church at 19670 E. Mainstreet in Parker, Colorado. It was built in 1913 and was added to the National Register in 1989. It was deemed notable on architectural grounds:Architecturally, this structure is an outstanding example of the type of building that was constructed by early pioneers for their worship services. Since no significant structural changes have been made to the exterior, the building is an outstanding example of the construction style of this era. This structure also stands as the center of non-sectarian religious activities in the area. It is significant to the history of the area as the first church built in Parker and the only unaltered church building remaining within the Parker town limits.

Cottonwood is a neighborhood in the Town of Parker, Colorado. A former census-designated place (CDP), the population was 931 at the 2000 census.

Stonegate is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) located in and governed by Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The CDP is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population of the Stonegate CDP was 9,072 at the United States Census 2020. The Stonegate Village Metropolitan District provides services to the community, which lies in ZIP Code 80134.

Chaparral High School is a public high school located in Parker, Colorado. It is a part of the Douglas County School District RE-1. The school is notable in Colorado for how it came to have an automated external defibrillator (AED) unit. Chaparral student Cody Schmidt died in 2003 after his heart stopped while in gym class, spurring his parents to raise funds to acquire AED units for all Douglas County schools.

The Town of Foxfield is a statutory town located in Arapahoe County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 754 at the 2020 United States Census. Foxfield is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor. The town is bordered by the cities of Aurora and Centennial.

Rocky Vista University (RVU) is a private, for-profit medical school with campus locations in Englewood, Colorado, Ivins, Utah, and Billings, Montana. The school opened in 2006 as the only modern for-profit medical school in the United States although other for-profit schools have since opened. RVU's College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVUCOM) grants the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and admitted its inaugural class of medical students at the Parker, Colorado campus in August 2008.
