Parkside is an inner southern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Unley.

Adelaide Himeji Gardens is a traditionally-styled Japanese garden, a gift from Adelaide's sister city, Himeji in 1982. It is located in Park 18 (Peppermint Park / Wita Wirra), one of the southern parts of the Adelaide Park Lands in Adelaide, South Australia.

Glen Osmond Road is a major section of the Princes Highway and state Highway 1 in the city of Adelaide, South Australia. Connecting the Adelaide city centre with the Adelaide Hills via the South Eastern Freeway; Glen Osmond Road carries half of Adelaide's freight traffic and is the major commuter route from the southern Adelaide Hills. It has intersections at Greenhill Road, Fullarton Road, Cross Road and Portrush Road. Glen Osmond Road houses a strip shopping precinct on the section between Greenhill and Fullarton Roads. The precinct is largely populated by independent boutiques. It is a community main street stationed in the leafy suburbs of Adelaide's south east. It was earlier known as "The Gateway" because of its connection between the Adelaide CBD and Hills.

Unley Oval (currently Wigan Oval), is a multi-use stadium in Unley, an inner southern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is used for lower-grade South Australian Grade Cricket League matches, but its main use is as the home ground for the Sturt Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL).

5MBS is a community radio station based in Adelaide, Australia and located in Hindmarsh, South Australia. It broadcasts on 99.9 MHz across much of the Adelaide metropolitan area, as well as a live stream via its website. 5MBS is run by volunteers, with no paid staff and is funded by contributions made by its listeners. Similar to its sister stations 4MBS in Brisbane, 2MBS in Sydney and 3MBS in Melbourne, 5MBS broadcasts a mixture of classical music and jazz, as well as supporting Adelaide's local arts community.

The Unley Museum is a local history museum in Unley, South Australia located at 80 Edmund Avenue in the former Unley Fire Station building, built in 1898. It was founded as a museum in 1971, and operated by the City of Unley. The museum with five gallery spaces has more than 12,000 photographs and objects, and has grown from donations of Unley people. The Unley Museum incorporates several display galleries, a research library, and conducts research into house histories and families of Unley. In 2012 The Unley Museum won the Museums and National Galleries Award MAGNA 2012 (Level 2), the nomination "Permanent Exhibition" for "Gorgeous Gardens". The judges described the project: "An engaging project, innovatively presented, well researched and visually appealing, with strong connections to a diversity of community members through a subject to which all can relate positively."In 2016 The Unley Museum won the Museums and National Galleries Award MAGNA 2016 (Level 1), the nomination "Permanent Exhibition or Gallery Fitout" for the best permanent exhibition "200 Years of Change". This permanent exhibition tells about two centuries of history from the Kaurna people to Unley today. The interactive exhibition includes displays, photographs, videos and objects that could be touched and used in order to discover exciting stories about the history of Unley.In 2017 the Unley Museum won the Museums and National Galleries Award MAGNA 2017 (Level 1), the nomination "Permanent Exhibition or Gallery Fitout" for the exhibition "Terrible Tales of Unley". The exhibition explores the stories from Unley's past related to mystery, murder, and fire. The interactive displays include activities to keep visitors entertained in order to solve an Unley mystery.In 2019 the Unley Museum was awarded an Adelaide Fringe Festival Award for the contemporary art exhibition. Halifax Street is a street in the south-eastern sector of the centre of Adelaide, South Australia. It runs east–west between East Terrace and King William Street, crossing Hutt Street and Pulteney Street and passing through Hurtle Square. It was named after Sir Charles Wood (later Charles Wood, 1st Viscount Halifax), British Member of Parliament for Halifax. Halifax Street is one of the intermediate-width streets of the Adelaide grid, at 1+1⁄2 chains (99 ft; 30 m) wide. Circa 1844 Halifax Street became the location of one of Adelaide's first breweries, founded by William Henry Clark who later built a flour mill close by. The brewery and mill were sited on city acres 564 and 603 between Halifax and Gilles streets which, from 1909 to 1950, housed Adelaide's rubbish incinerator.

Pulteney Grammar School is an independent, Anglican, co-educational, private day school. Founded in 1847 by members of the Anglican Church, it is the second oldest independent school in South Australia. Its campuses are located on South Terrace in Adelaide, South Australia.

Parkside Primary School is a coeducational R-7 school (5–13 year olds) located in the Adelaide inner suburb of Parkside. The school is located at 12 Robsart Street and occupies the land between Young Street, Robsart Street and Castle Street. It is one of South Australia's earliest established Primary Schools and currently has an enrolment of 410 students, who come from different cultural backgrounds.

Highgate is a suburb of Adelaide in the City of Unley. It is surrounded by Fullarton and Malvern.

The Adelaide Film Festival (AFF, formerly ADLFF) is an international film festival usually held for two weeks in mid-October in cinemas in Adelaide, South Australia. Originally presented biennially in March from 2003, since 2013 AFF has been held in October. Subject to funding, the festival stages full or briefer events in alternating years; some form of event has taken place every year since 2015. It has a strong focus on local South Australian and Australian produced content, with the Adelaide Film Festival Investment Fund (AFFIF) established to fund investment in Australian films. Established in 2003, it was listed in Variety's "50 Unmissable Film Festivals" in 2007. The 2020 Festival was scheduled to take place from 14 to 25 October, but owing to its high attendance figures and success, the season was extended for an extra five days.

Hurtle Square, also known as Tangkaira, is one of five public squares in the Adelaide city centre, South Australia. Located in the centre of the south-eastern quarter of the city, it surrounds the intersection of Halifax and Pulteney Streets. Its north edge is bounded by Carrington Street. It is one of six squares designed by the founder of Adelaide, Colonel William Light, who was Surveyor-General at the time, in his 1837 plan of the City of Adelaide which spanned the River Torrens Valley, comprising the city centre (South Adelaide) and North Adelaide. The square was named in 1837 by the Street Naming Committee after James Hurtle Fisher, South Australia's first Resident Commissioner. In 2003, as part of the dual naming initiative by the Adelaide City Council, a second name, Tangkaira, was assigned in the Kaurna language of the original inhabitants.
