It is known for Gamcheon Culture Village, which features steep streets, twisting alleys, and brightly painted houses. Some painted street murals, art installations, cafes, stores, museums, workshops, and craft boutiques have also sprung up in the area. The area was previously known as Taegeukdo Village, and was affected by poverty, so in 2009 the government of Korea funded the "Dreaming of Machu Picchu in Busan Project". The area is known for its layered streets, twisted labyrinth-like alleys, and brightly painted houses, which have been restored and enhanced in recent years to attract tourism. Built on a steep mountain-side slope, the village has been nicknamed "Korea's Santorini" and the "Machu Picchu of Busan".

The Busan Gudeok Stadium (Korean: 부산 구덕 운동장) is a multi-purpose stadium in Busan, South Korea. The stadium is used mostly for football matches and can accommodate 12,349 spectators. The venue opened in September 1928 as Busan Municipal Stadium (부산 공설 운동장). During the 1988 Summer Olympics, it hosted some of the football matches. It was also the main venue for the 1997 East Asian Games, hosting the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the athletics and football competitions. Professional football team Busan IPark played their home games at the venue between 1983 and 2002. Additionally, semi-professional team Busan Transport Corporation have played their home games at the venue since 2006.

The Provisional Capital Memorial Hall (Korean: 임시수도기념관; Hanja: 臨時首都記念館) is a museum in Busan, South Korea. The building was used by the President of South Korea, Syngman Rhee, when Busan was the provisional capital of South Korea during the Korean War.The hall was initially used as the Gyeongnam provincial governor's official residence since its completion on August 10, 1926. For 3 years, Busan was the Korean provisional capital during the time of the Korean War. During this period, this building was used as the president's residence. In 1984, this building became the Provisional Capital Memorial Hall, and exhibited pictures and other artifacts from the Korean War. This building was renovated from April 2000 to November 2001 to its current state. During the renovation, the Photographic Gallery section was added. The gallery houses a collection of photographs from the Korean War. The Provisional Capital Memorial Hall is Designated Artifact #53 of Busan Metropolitan City.
