Rockdale Town Hall

Rockdale is a suburb in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Rockdale is located 13 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district and is part of the St George area. Rockdale is one of the administrative centres for the local government area of the Bayside Council. Since 1985 Rockdale has been a twinned city with Bitola, in the Republic of Macedonia.

Abhinay School of Performing Arts is a nonprofit charity school based in Sydney, Australia which was founded in 2009 to promote art and culture from the Indian subcontinent in Australia. As of 2013 the school reported having trained over 200 people in dance and theatre arts. Abhinay means "the art of performing" in Sanskrit. Playwright Alex Broun has conducted play-writing workshops with the school for the Indian community, and the school takes part in the yearly Short and Sweet festival he is associated with. The school's president and artistic director is Aishveryaa Nidhi.Acting workshops focus on dialogue delivery, speech analysis, and body language. Abhinay promotes multiculturalism, and has collaborated with the Hurstville City Council to increase community participation. The school also promotes the Hindi language through instructional classes and live performances.

Rockdale railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the Illawarra line, serving the Sydney suburb of Rockdale in Bayside Council. It is served by Sydney Trains T4 line services. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

St George Girls' High School (SGGHS) is a government-funded single-sex academically selective secondary day school for girls, located in Kogarah, in the southern suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1916 and operated by the New South Wales Department of Education, the school currently caters for approximately 920 students from Year 7 to Year 12. For first year entry, students must sit the Selective High Schools Test and are offered admission into the school based on academic merit.

The property is owned by Bayside Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Marist College Kogarah is an independent Roman Catholic single sex secondary day school for boys, located in Bexley, a suburb located in the St George region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The college was founded in 1909, and has a tradition based on the teachings of the French educator Saint Marcellin Champagnat, the founder of the Marist Brothers. The school offers education to approximately 1,200 students from Year 7 to Year 12.

Bicentennial Park is a recreational area in Rockdale, a suburb of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. It features a bike track, athletics facilities and soccer and rugby league grounds. The park is divided into three sections known as Bicentennial Park North, Bicentennial Park South and Bicentennial Park East. Two ponds are linked by a creek to more wetlands in Scarborough park, to the south. A footbridge over the ponds links Bicentennial Park East to the rest of the recreational area. Bicentennial Park opened in 1988 and was named in honour of Australia's Bicentenary in that year. Bicentennial Park South Football Stadium opened in 2009 in time for the 2009 NSW Super League season. The Rockdale Ilinden Football Club became a tenant for 21 years. Geographically, Bicentennial Park East is located on the border of three suburbs, Monterey, Rockdale and Brighton-Le-Sands, but is officially in Brighton-Le-Sands according to the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales. It features two large soccer fields and one smaller one for juniors. Cricket pitches in the centre of the two large fields have been constructed for use in summer.

Bicentennial Park South, currently known as Rockdale Ilinden Sports Centre, is a football (soccer) stadium in Rockdale, a suburb of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. The venue is owned by Bayside Council and is currently leased and operated by the Rockdale Ilinden Football Club who compete in various local competitions, along with the top tier of men's football in the state, the National Premier Leagues NSW. The stadium was an open field prior to a redevelopment which began in October 2008 and completed with an official opening in December 2009.
