Ayden Historic District

Ayden is a town in Pitt County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 4,977 at the 2020 census. The town is a part of the Greenville Metropolitan Area of North Carolina's Inner Banks region.

Ayden-Grifton High School is a high school in Pitt County, North Carolina, United States. It is located along NC 11 South in between the towns of Ayden, North Carolina and Grifton, North Carolina. Ayden-Grifton High School is one of the six public high schools that make up the Pitt County School System. Ayden-Grifton High School is classified as a 2-A school with 650 students.

William H. Long House is a historic home located at Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. It was built in 1917–1918, and is a two-story, brick veneer dwelling with Classical Revival style design elements. It a hipped roof intersected by gable roofed wings on the back and sides. It features a monumental pedimented portico and porte cochere supported by paired Tuscan order columns. It was built by William Henry Long (1866–1920), who served as mayor of Greenville from 1901 to 1903. It was renovated about 1980 to house law offices.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Cox-Ange House is a historic home located at Winterville, Pitt County, North Carolina. It was built about 1900 to 1904, and is a two-story, L-shaped, vernacular Queen Anne style frame dwelling with a one-story wing. An addition was built about 1910. It features a one-story, wraparound porch with a small sleeping porch on the second story. Also on the property are the contributing barn (c. 1900–1904), garage (c. 1930), wash house (c. 1930), and landscaped yard.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Kittrell-Dail House is a historic home located near Renston, Pitt County, North Carolina. It was built about 1855, and is a two-story, three-bay, side-gable, single pile frame dwelling with Greek Revival style design elements. It has two contemporary shed roofed wings and a 20th-century rear ell. A one-story, hip roof porch, almost the length of the house, was added about 1920–1930. Also on the property is the contributing kitchen building (c. 1855).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Renston Rural Historic District is a national historic district located near Winterville, Pitt County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 105 contributing buildings, 6 contributing sites, 7 contributing structures, and 1 contributing object on eight major farms in rural Pitt County near Winterville. It includes buildings largely dated from about 1890 to 1953 and notable examples of Greek Revival and Classical Revival style architecture. They include the Fletcher Farm, the Charles and Maggie McLawhorn farms, the Langston-Edwards properties, the Dail Farm, the Dennis McLawhorn farms, the McLawhorn-Abbott property, and the Richard Herman McLawhorn farms. Notable individual buildings include the Joseph Smith House, former Renston School and the first Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, Spier (Speir, Spire) Worthington House (c. 1840), Langston-Edwards House (c. 1840), the Dail House (c. 1850), and the Charles McLawhorn House (c. 1880, moved c. 1890).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Grifton is a town in Lenoir and Pitt counties, North Carolina, United States. The population was 2,617 at the 2010 census. The Pitt County portion of the town is a part of the Greenville Metropolitan Statistical Area located in North Carolina's Inner Banks region.
