Marnand

Granges-Marnand railway station (French: Gare de Granges-Marnand) is a railway station in the municipality of Valbroye, in the Swiss canton of Vaud. It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Palézieux–Lyss line of Swiss Federal Railways.

On 29 July 2013, two passenger trains were involved in a head-on collision at Granges-près-Marnand, Switzerland, killing one person and injuring 25 others.

Villeneuve (French pronunciation: [vilnœv] ) is a former municipality in the district of Broye, in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. The municipality of Villeneuve merged on 1 January 2017 into Surpierre.
