Södra Teatern is a theatre in Stockholm, Sweden. It is located at Mosebacke torg on Södermalm in Stockholm. The venue is the oldest theatre in Stockholm and is situated in the heart of the city.

Mosebacke (Mosebacke torg) is a square and park situated on Södermalm in Stockholm, Sweden.

Guldbron "The Golden Bridge", formally Slussbron, is the main bridge for road traffic as well as pedestrians and cyclists that will connect the Old Town of Stockholm with Södermalm. The bridge, which is part of the Nya Slussen project, opened on 25 October 2020. Due to its color scheme it is unofficially often called the Gold Bridge.

The Katarina Elevator or Katarina Lift (Swedish: Katarinahissen) is a passenger elevator in Stockholm that connects Slussen (the sluice/lock area) to the heights of Södermalm. The lift was a shortcut between Katarinavägen, Slussen and Mosebacke torg. The original lift was constructed in 1881, but the current structure dates from the rebuilding of the Slussen transport interchange in 1936. The lift has been closed since 2010 due to lack of security in the construction and is planned to reopen in 2023.

Karl Johanslussen ("Lock of Charles John") is a lock and a sluice, along the Söderström river connecting and controlling the flood discharge between Riddarfjärden, the easternmost part of Lake Mälaren, and Saltsjön, the section of the Baltic Sea reaching into central Stockholm, Sweden. The lock is 75 metres long, 10 metres wide and 3.90 metres deep. The maximum height is 3.8 metres. The lock is closed from 2016 to 2021 due to large reconstruction works in the area. Before World War I, few of the steam ships in the harbor of Stockholm were larger than 500 tonnes, and the previous lock thus largely sufficient. While commercial traffic was relocated to Hammarbyleden passing south of Södermalm in 1926–1929, the present lock, completed in 1935, was still used by some 3,000 commercial vessels in the 1970s, and log rafts passed through the canal until the 1950s. Its main function is however to allow passage for pleasure boats and sightseeing boats.

Karl Johans Torg (Swedish: "Square of Charles John") is a public square between the old town Gamla stan and Slussen in central Stockholm, Sweden.

Slussplan (Swedish: "Lock's Space/Plane") is a street in Stockholm, Sweden. Located on the southern end of Gamla stan, the old town, and just north of Slussen and the public square Karl Johans Torg, it stretches west from Skeppsbron to Katarinavägen and Munkbroleden. South of the street is the statue of Charles XIV John, the creation of Bengt Erland Fogelberg and inaugurated in 1854. Järntorgsgatan leads north to the square Järntorget.

Södra Dryckesgränd (Swedish: "Southern Drunkenness Alley") is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Connecting Skeppsbron to Järntorgsgatan, it forms a parallel street to Norra Dryckesgränd and Slussplan. The alley appears in historical records as cartusegrenden (1518), södre Cartuse grennen (1527), chartuser gränden (1625), Södra Drycks gr[änd] (1733), and Dryks-Gränden (1740). The reason for the present name of the alley is unknown. See Norra Dryckesgränd for further details.

The Stomatol Sign is Sweden's first animated commercial display and the oldest still working. It represents a toothbrush and a toothpaste tube of the Swedish brand Stomatol. It was first erected on November 22, 1909, on the old Katarina Elevator, in the area of Slussenområdet, Stockholm.

Norra Dryckesgränd (Swedish: Northern Drunkenness Alley) is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Connecting Skeppsbron to Järntorgsgatan it forms a parallel street to Södra Bankogränd and Södra Dryckesgränd.

Slussen is a station of the Stockholm metro, located in Slussenområdet in the district of Södermalm. The station is served by the Red and Green lines. Originally opened in 1933 as an underground tram stop, on 1 October 1950 it became the terminal of the first metro line running south to Hökarängen, it was again rebuilt when the extension of the line north to Hötorget was opened on 24 November 1957. On 5 April 1964, the first stretch of the Red line, between T-Centralen and Fruängen, was opened.Just outside the northern entrance to the metro station, there is a bus terminal for buses to the Nacka and Värmdö municipalities. The terminus for the Saltsjöbanan railway was also located here, but it was moved to Henriksdal in 2016 due to the reconstruction of Slussen. Traffic will resume when the reconstruction is complete, possibly in 2026.In November 2017 an art exhibition by Liv Strömquist at the metro station sparked a debate about the appropriateness of showing depictions of menstruation to children.

Södra Bankogränd (Swedish: "Southern Bank Alley") is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Connecting Skeppsbron to Österlånggatan and Järntorget, it forms a parallel street to Norra Bankogränd and Norra Dryckesgränd. Historically known as Banco-gränden (1729) and Södra Bancogränd (1733), the historic cobblestones were renovated in 2001. The alley passes south of Södra Bankohuset, the former building of the Bank of Sweden, first constructed by the architect Nicodemus Tessin the Elder (1615–1684) during the period 1666–1682. The part of the building facing Skeppsbron was later rebuilt, and the bank moved to Helgeandsholmen in 1906.
