Milanville Historic District

Milanville is a village in Damascus Township, Wayne County, Pennsylvania, United States.

The Skinners Falls – Milanville Bridge is a bridge spanning the Delaware River between Milanville, Pennsylvania, and Cochecton, New York, in Wayne County, Pennsylvania, and Sullivan County, New York. The bridge is 470 feet (140 m) long and holds one single lane of Skinners Falls Road, a local road. The bridge was constructed by the American Bridge Company and funded by the Milanville Bridge Company. The bridge replaced a ferry run by raftsman Daniel Skinner and his family. The bridge opened in 1902 and remained in service up until recently. It is one of several bridges in Sullivan County that are on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Roebling Aqueduct and Pond Eddy Bridge. The bridge is located with the Milanville Historic District.

Page House is a historic home located at Cochecton in Sullivan County, New York. It was built in 1892 is a large two story, cross gabled, frame Queen Anne style dwelling. It features asymmetrical massing, picturesque roofline, domed corner tower, decorative shingled surfaces, and an elaborately detailed verandah. An extension was added in 1905. Also on the property are a springhouse and small barn.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River is a unit of the National Park Service designated under the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. It stretches along 73.4 miles (118.1 km) of the Delaware River between Hancock, New York, and Sparrowbush, New York. It includes parts of Delaware County, Orange County, and Sullivan County in New York, as well as Pike County and Wayne County in Pennsylvania. Most of the land in this unit is privately owned; the federal government only owns about 30 acres (12 ha). The site includes and protects Roebling's Delaware Aqueduct and the Zane Grey Museum. Within the park are the remains of the Delaware and Hudson Canal. This canal operated from 1828 to 1898 carrying anthracite coal and other regional products to the Hudson River where the products were shipped to various markets including New York City. The Delaware and Hudson Canal Company is considered one of the first private million dollar companies in the United States. Some of the remains of the canal are a National Historic Landmark.

Damascus is a village in Damascus Township, Wayne County, Pennsylvania, United States. The Damascus-Cochecton Bridge connects the town with Cochecton, New York across the Delaware River. The bridge is often used by smugglers of fireworks, legal in Pennsylvania but illegal in New York State, in the run-up to the Independence Day holiday, in which observance fireworks are used extensively.

The Cochecton–Damascus Bridge, sometimes called the Cochecton Dam Road Bridge, crosses the Delaware River in the United States between the unincorporated hamlet of Cochecton, in Sullivan County, New York, and Damascus Township, in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. On the Pennsylvania side it is the eastern terminus of State Route 371; in New York its approach road is County Route 114. It was built in 1950; bridges have crossed the river at that point since 1819.Those early bridges replaced ferry services that had to replace them when they collapsed or were washed away during floods. By the late 19th century a private company had built a toll bridge at the site which proved stable. It was eventually bought by a joint commission established by both states, which abolished the toll. A lawsuit against New York over the construction of the current bridge ended in a holding that the state itself could be sued over actions of the commission since that body was not sufficiently distinct from the state, and sovereign immunity did not apply.

Cochecton () is a town located in west-central Sullivan County, New York, United States. The population was 1,448 at the 2020 census. The name is derived from the Lenape word "cushetunk" meaning "place of red stone hills". The Town of Cochecton (its official name) is situated on the Delaware River, directly across from Damascus, Pennsylvania, to which a bridge over the river provides access.

Cochecton Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church on Co. Rd. 114, E of Delaware R. Bridge in Cochecton, Sullivan County, New York, United States. It was built in 1903 and is a cross gabled, wood-frame structure featuring a corner bell tower. The interior is designed on the Akron Plan.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Ellery Calkins House is a historic home located at Cochecton in Sullivan County, New York. It was built about 1890 and is a large, two story frame Queen Anne style dwelling. It features a three-story corner tower with a steep pyramidal roof and stylish wraparound porch.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Reilly's Store is a historic general store located at Cochecton in Sullivan County, New York. It was built about 1860 and is a 2-story, wooden, three-by-six-bay, gable-fronted building of post and beam construction. The first floor was occupied by a store and the second was for residential use. Owned throughout the 20th century by J.W. Dermody, and later Frank P. and Katherine Reilly, the general store ran until Mr. Reilly's death in 1957. In the early 1990s, the building was purchased and restored by Bob and Mary Ann White, who owned and operated Reilly's Ice Cream Parlor and Museum from 1994 til September 5, 2000. The museum featured artifacts of the White's collection from toys and tools of the early 20th century to a model "downtown" hallway, complete with miniature store fronts for the butcher shop, seamstress, post office, barber, and more. A favorite for adults and children was the model train that circled the ceiling of museum and ice cream parlor. Behind the Reilly Store sits a barn painted with advertisement aimed at the passenger rail line that ran directly behind the store. The Castoria Barn advertises for Fletcher's Castoria Oil, used as a children's laxative. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Parsonage Road Historic District is a national historic district located at Cochecton in Sullivan County, New York. The district includes 10 contributing buildings. The district included houses and related outbuildings located along a short street set in a natural landscape. They were built between about 1820 and 1900 and reflect a number of popular 19th-century architectural styles including Federal, Greek Revival, and Queen Anne style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Drake-Curtis House is a historic home located at Cochecton in Sullivan County, New York. It is a vernacular frame Federal period dwelling. It features a 1+1⁄2-story central block built about 1810, flanked by 1-story wings added about 1840 and 1850. Also on the property are dry-laid stone retaining walls and a small 19th-century privy.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
