The Art Institute of Tampa is a for profit institution providing education in design, media arts, fashion and culinary arts. The Art Institute of Tampa opened in 2004. The Art Institute of Tampa was the 30th location within The Art Institutes system of schools. The Art Institute of Tampa is a branch of Miami International University of Art & Design, which is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

Tampa Stadium (nicknamed The Big Sombrero and briefly known as Houlihan's Stadium) was a large open-air stadium (maximum capacity about 74,000) located in Tampa, Florida, which opened in 1967 and was significantly expanded in 1974–75. The facility is most closely associated with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League, who played there from their establishment in 1976 until 1997. It also hosted two Super Bowls, in 1984 and 1991, as well as the 1984 USFL Championship Game. Besides the Bucs, Tampa Stadium was home to the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the original North American Soccer League, the Tampa Bay Bandits of the United States Football League, the Tampa Bay Mutiny of Major League Soccer, and the college football programs of the University of Tampa and the University of South Florida. It also hosted many large concerts, and for a time, it held the record for the largest audience to ever see a single artist when a crowd of almost 57,000 witnessed a Led Zeppelin show in the facility in 1973. To meet the revenue demands of the Buccaneers' new owners, Raymond James Stadium was built nearby in 1998, and Tampa Stadium was demolished in early 1999.

Raymond James Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Tampa, Florida that opened in 1998 and is home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL) and the University of South Florida (USF) Bulls college football program. The seating capacity for most sporting events is 69,218, though it can be expanded to about 75,000 for special events with the addition of temporary seating. Raymond James Stadium was built at public expense as a replacement for Tampa Stadium and is known for the replica pirate ship located behind the seating area in the north end zone. Raymond James Financial, a financial service firm headquartered in the Tampa Bay area, has held the naming rights for the stadium for the stadium's entire existence. Besides serving as the home field for the Buccaneers and the Bulls, the facility has been the site of three Super Bowls: XXXV in 2001, XLIII in 2009, and LV in 2021, the third in which the Buccaneers became the first team in NFL history both to play and to win a Super Bowl on their home field. In college football, Raymond James Stadium is the home of the annual Tampa Bay Bowl (since 1999) and Gasparilla Bowl (since 2018), hosted the ACC Championship Game in 2008 and 2009, and was the site of the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2017. Additionally, the stadium has hosted a wide variety of non-football events, including soccer matches, equestrian sports competitions, monster truck shows, and large concerts. It was also the site of WrestleMania 37 in April 2021.

Jesuit High School is a private Catholic, all-male high school run by the U.S. Central and Southern Province of the Society of Jesus in Tampa, Florida. The school was established in 1899 by the Jesuits and operates independently of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint Petersburg. The school teaches a college preparatory curriculum and has been named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.The Jesuit motto is Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam which means "For the Greater Glory of God." The school encourages its students to be "Men For Others," which is a student model derived from a famous 1973 speech given by Jesuit Father General Pedro Arrupe. Fr. Arrupe led the Jesuits in the transitional years after Vatican II, from 1965 to 1983, when the Jesuit order incorporated that Council's vision into its institutions.

George M. Steinbrenner Field, formerly known as Legends Field, is a baseball stadium located in Tampa, Florida, across the Dale Mabry Highway from Raymond James Stadium, the home of the National Football League's Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The ballpark was built in 1996 and seats 11,026 people, with an addition in right field built in 2007. It is the largest spring training ballpark in Florida. George M. Steinbrenner Field serves as the home of the Tampa Tarpons, the New York Yankees' affiliate in the Florida State League, and is the Yankees' spring training home.

La Teresita is an historic Cuban cuisine restaurant with affiliated market and bakery in Tampa, Florida, in the West Tampa region. La Teresita opened in 1972 as a market. La Teresita is owned by the Capedevila family. A grocery market is located on the other side of a side street off West Columbus Drive from the restaurant and bakery. Founders Maximino and Coralia Capdevila emigrated from Cuba in 1962 after Fidel Castro came to power. They established the business as a grocery store and sold sandwiches. The family business gradually grew over time.The restaurant has been described as a being regarded by politicians "as a place to be seen", and visits from President George W. Bush, John Kerry, Al Gore, and Mitt Romney have occurred. In 2007 Mitt Romney held a campaign stop at the restaurant. Romnney also attended the restaurant in 2012.

Marti-Colon Cemetery is a historic cemetery in West Tampa, maintained and partially owned by the City of Tampa. It currently lies south of Columbus Drive, though for the first sixty years of the cemetery's life, it extended north of Columbus. Marti-Colon has come into the news several times since its inception in the late 19th century, with reports of unscrupulous practices by owners and a lack of oversight by government officials.

Marina Club or Marina Club of Tampa is a gated residential condominium neighborhood located along the Hillsborough River within the city limits of Tampa, Florida. As of the 2000 census the neighborhood had a population of 135. Although small the neighborhood is within three ZIP Codes: 33602, 33603 and 33607. The Marina Club of Tampa is a Homeowners Association currently managed by The Continental Group, Inc.

Tampa College was a private business college founded as a coeducational, nonsectarian, and proprietary institution, in 1890. The school was originally located in Tampa, Florida. The final owner, Corinthian Colleges, folded the school into its Everest brand.

Drew Park is a neighborhood within the city limits of Tampa, Florida. As of the 2010 census the neighborhood had a population of 1,780. The ZIP Codes serving the neighborhood are 33607 and 33614.

Everest University was a private for-profit university based in Florida. From 2015 to 2020, the schools were operated by nonprofit Zenith Education Group, after former for-profit owner Corinthian Colleges shut down its operations. It was founded in 1940 as Fort Lauderdale College of Business and Finance and later known as the Florida Metropolitan University, a name it held until 2010. The Florida-based university offered online courses for students throughout the country. Programs focused on career orientation, offering day, night, weekend and online programs for working adults, with programs and schedules varying by campus.

Altierus Career College is a postsecondary non-profit healthcare and trade school owned by ECMC Education. The school has campuses in Tampa, Florida; Norcross, Georgia; and Houston, Texas; and offers certificates and associate degrees. The school is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.
