Wahlwiller (Limburgish: Wilder [ˈwɪldəʀ]) is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem. The village is located south of the Selzerbeek. The name of the village is derived from villare, what means "belonging to a villa". In the 14th century the village is mentioned under names as Waelwilre, Wailwilre and Walwilre. The prefix "wael" indicates that the inhabitants were speaking a Walloon language.Wahlwiller is a road village which developed in the Middle Ages on the road from Maastricht to Aachen. It became an independent parish in 1835. The Catholic St Cunibertus Church is a single-aisled church with a small tower. The church up to the windows dates from the 12th century. It has been enlarged and renovated several times.On the northern side of the village lies the Kruisberg, of Amstel Gold Race fame.

Nijswiller (Limburgish: Nieswieler) is a village in the southern part of the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem, and is located about 19 kilometres (12 mi) east of Maastricht.

Eys (Dutch: [ɛis]; Limburgish: Ees [ˈeːs]) is a village in the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem, Limburg, the Netherlands. The town is located 3 km. from Gulpen and 17 km. from provincial capital Maastricht. Furthermore, it is characterised by its location in the hilly landscape of South Limburg. The village was first mentioned in 1193 in a document of the Sint-Pauluskapittel of Liège, Belgium, and was named after the river Eyserbeek.The Eyserbosweg (the road ('weg') that leads from the village to the forest ('bos')) is one of the hills to be climbed in the yearly professional cycle race Amstel Gold Race, first held in 1966. The organiser is not sure when the Eyserbosweg was first involved in the race. It was also the hill that featured in the Open Dutch Championship Bag Carrying ('zakkendragen'), a race against the clock in which people had to carry a bag with sand up the one kilometer long hill. The weight of the bag was 25 kg (women), 50 kg, 75 kg or 100 kg (men). That championship had its roots in a bet made by a farmer who claimed in 1956 that his farm help would be able to carry a 100 kg bag to the top.

Selzerbeek (or Senserbach, Sinselbeek, Sinselbaach, Selzerbaek) is a river of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany and Limburg in the Netherlands. It stretches over approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) from its source at Aachen to its mouth near Gulpen into the Geul.

Helle is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem, about 1 km south of the village of Mechelen.Helle is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Mechelen. It has no place signs and consists about 10 houses.

Eyserheide (English: Eys heathland, Limburgish: Ezerhei) is a hamlet in the southeastern Netherlands. It is located close to the village of Eys in the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem, Limburg, around 15 km east of Maastricht. The name refers to a former heathland in the area. The village has a population of 90 people. Together with the neighboring hamlets of Elkenrade and Mingersberg, it is located on the plateau of Ubachsberg. The village is known for the Eyserbosweg, a steep hill to the south of the village which is part of the Amstel Gold Race. To the west of the village is the forest Eyserbos.

The Bulkemsmolen (English: Bulkem's Mill) is a former watermill located on the Bulkemstraat 43 in Bulkemsbroek, Simpelveld, Netherlands. Built in 1753 along the Eyserbeek river, the watermill functioned as gristmill until 1978. Currently it functions as housing for a local farm. The mill is a national monument (nr 33588) since 1967. Of the original mill only the millhouse, wooden overshot water wheel, of 3.9m diameter and 1.2m width, and the mill race remain.

Kasteel Wittem is a defunct restaurant located in Castle Wittem in Wittem, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1977 and retained that rating until 1989.In the period 1975–1979, head chef was Jan Vossen. At least in the period 1987–1990, Theus van Schaik was the head chef. Wim Rekko took over, but could not retain the star.The restaurant was part of Hotel Kasteel Wittem, which closed down in June 2009. The owners Marc and Peter Ritzen had run the hotel for 40 years. The hotel reopened, now without a restaurant, in January 2010.In 2008, Kasteel Wittem and Hostellerie De Hamert celebrated with special arrangements the fact that they were together 100 years in business, the first since 1968, the second since 1948.Restaurant-hotel Kasteel Wittem was a member of the Alliance Gastronomique Néerlandaise, but left after the sale of the hotel in 2009.

Bulkemsbroek (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbʏlkəmzbruk]; Limburgish: D'r Bulkemsbróch [dəʀ ˈbʏl(ə)kəmzbʀʊx]) is a hamlet in the southeastern Netherlands. It is located close to the village of Simpelveld in the municipality of Simpelveld, Limburg, about 20 km east of Maastricht. The village has a population of 30 people. The name Bulkemsbroek refers to swampland (broek) close to the land of the Bullo family (Bulkem). On the molenbeek, a sidestream of the river Eyserbeek, lies the Bulkemsmolen. This watermill was built in 1753 and has been designated a national monument.

Bosschenhuizen (Limburgish: Busjehoêze) is a hamlet in the southeastern Netherlands. It is part of the municipality of Simpelveld in the province of Limburg, about 20 km east of Maastricht. The village lies southeast of Trintelen and west of Simpelveld. In 2016, the village had an estimated population of 80.
