Aldfreck is a townland in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.The Battle of Aldfreck was fought in November 1597.

Ballycarry railway station serves Ballycarry and Islandmagee in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, the station was opened on 1 October 1862.Today there is just a single platform, there is a stationmaster's old cottage on a disused platform, this is now privately owned.

Kilroot (from Irish Cill Ruaidh 'church of the redhead') is a townland, population centre and civil parish in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It lies to the east of Eden, on the outskirts of Carrickfergus on the northern shore of Belfast Lough. It is within the Mid and East Antrim Bourgh council area.

Kilroot was a station located in the village of Kilroot, close to the town of Carrickfergus, in Northern Ireland. At one time it was the last in a tight cluster of stations, each located almost one minute from the other, from Mount railway station through to the halt at Kilroot. The station closed in 1977 when Northern Ireland Railways services were cut back. It has now been dismantled, and all traces were lost whenever Kilroot power station was constructed in the late 1970s.

Ballystrudder or Ballystruder (from Irish Baile Strudair, meaning 'Strudar’s townland') is a small village and townland (of 255 acres) on Islandmagee in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is situated in the historic barony of Belfast Lower and the civil parish of Islandmagee. It is part of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council. It had a population of 992 people in the 2011 Census.

Magheramorne railway station serves Magheramorne in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The station was opened on 1 October 1862. Originally it was the site for the loading of aggregate trains, with the last one running in the 1970s.

Magheramorne (from Irish Machaire Morna - meaning 'Plain of Morna') is a hamlet in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is about 5 miles south of Larne on the shores of Larne Lough. It had a population of 75 people in the 2001 Census. Following the reform of Northern Ireland's local government system on 1 April 2015, Magheramorne lies within the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area.

Ballyharry ( BAL-ee-HARR-ee; from Irish Baile h-Araidh, meaning 'town of the charioteer') is a townland of 224 acres and an area of archaeological sites on Islandmagee, in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, where a number of well-preserved Neolithic house sites have been investigated. The townland is situated in the civil parish of Islandmagee and the historic barony of Belfast Lower.

Eden (also known as Eden Halt) was a station located in the townland of Eden, in and around the town of Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland. At one time it formed part of a tight cluster of stations, each located almost one minute from the other, from Mount through to Kilroot. The station closed in 1977 when Northern Ireland Railways rationalised their services. It has now been dismantled. Eden Halt is the title of a book by Ross Skelton.

Whitehead railway station serves Whitehead in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The station has two platforms with a waiting room on each and the station is signalled in both directions and remains staffed during commuter hours by a Senior Porter, a fully trained signalman, capable of fixing points and signalling issues when they arise. Previously the line was double towards Belfast and Whitehead was where the track narrowed to the single track section to Larne. However, in the 1990s the up line was removed from here to Kilroot due to safety reasons, leaving the line at Whitehead Station as a passing loop. Whitehead actually comprises two stations, due to its history as a railway excursion town. The through station is still part of the Northern Ireland Railways network, whilst the terminus Whitehead Excursion Station is the headquarters of the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland. Whitehead station was originally opened on 1 May 1863 and the Whitehead Excursion Platform was opened on 10 July 1907. The present station was opened in 1877 and is the third station to serve the town. It has been modernised, but unlike many stations on the NIR network still retains much of its Victorian character.

The Islandmagee witch trials were two criminal trials in Carrickfergus in 1711 for alleged witchcraft at Islandmagee. It is believed to have been the last witch trial to take place in Ireland.

Eden is a residential settlement on the eastern edge of Carrickfergus in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, located within a larger electoral ward area of the same name. It is intersected by the Larne Road, a small section of the extensive Antrim Coast Road that connects Carrickfergus to Whitehead and the major ferry port of Larne.
