Ballycarry (from Irish Baile Caraidh, meaning 'town of the weir or rocky ford') is a village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is midway between Larne and Carrickfergus, overlooking Islandmagee, and is part of the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 981.

The townland is situated in the civil parish of Islandmagee and the historic barony of Belfast Lower.

Mill Bay is a small village on Islandmagee in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It sits by the tiny Carnspindle Bay, within the townland of Carnspindle. It is in the Larne Borough Council area. In the 2011 Census it had a population of 103 people (40 households). (2001 census: 93 people).

Islandmagee (from Irish Oileán Mhic Aodha, meaning 'Magee’s island/peninsula') is a peninsula and civil parish on the east coast of County Antrim, Northern Ireland, located between the towns of Larne and Whitehead. It is part of the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area and is a sparsely populated rural community with a long history since the mesolithic period. The population is approximately 2,500 (excluding the village of Whitehead). In the early medieval period it was known as Semne, a petty-kingdom within Ulaid. It is the site of Northern Ireland's main power station Ballylumford and the endpoint of the Scotland-Northern Ireland gas pipeline.

Swan Island is an island measuring 0.1 ha within the Larne Lough Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI) near Larne, Northern Ireland. The island is formed by stabilising shingle, gravel and stones overlain by a thin layer of soil. It is sited 550 m from the west shore of the lough and 3.1 km from the mouth. The ASSI is also an SPA (Special Protection Area) because it regularly supports internationally important numbers of light-bellied brent geese in winter. Swan Island, which was classified as an SPA in its own right in 1992, qualifies because, in summer, it supports nationally important breeding populations of rosate and common terns.The nationally rare plant bur chervil can also be found in significant abundance on Swan Island. Small numbers of both Sandwich and Arctic terns also breed at this site.

Mullaghboy (from Irish Mullach Buidhe, meaning 'yellow summit') is a small village and townland (of 251 acres) on Islandmagee in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is situated in the civil parish of Islandmagee and the historic barony of Belfast Lower. It is within the Larne Borough Council area. It had a population of 364 people (148 households) in the 2011 Census. (2001 Census: 294 people).
