Singer Lake is a lake in Berrien County, in the U.S. state of Michigan. It has a size of 25.861 acres (10.466 ha).Singer Lake has the name of Samuel Singer, a pioneer who settled at the lake in 1836.

Royalton Township is a civil township of Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan, a few miles southeast of the city of St. Joseph. The population was 4,766 at the 2010 census, up from 3,888 at the 2000 census. There are no incorporated municipalities in the township, but portions are considered to be part of the Benton Harbor/St. Joseph urban area. The unincorporated communities of Hollywood, Scottdale, Arden, and Buckhorn are within the township. Royalton Township was organized in 1835 and originally included portions of Lincoln Charter Township, Sodus Township, and St. Joseph Charter Township.

Andrews University Airpark (FAA LID: C20) is a privately owned, public use airport located 2 miles west of Berrien Springs, Michigan. It is owned and managed by Andrews University, a Seventh Day Adventist university that manages an aviation department.The airport is home to the aviation department of Andrews University, which trains pilots under FAR Part 141. It trains pilots to be private and commercial pilots and includes additional ratings such as the Instrument and Multi-Engine add-ons and flight instructor training.The airport is near airports with commercial service, most notably South Bend International Airport. It is also near Southwest Michigan Regional Airport, which has historically seen airline service but, as of February 2023, has no scheduled airline service.The airport was the starting point for an attempt to fly through all 48 contiguous states in the United States. A team of Bowling Green State University alums started at the airport while trying to fly through each state in under 48 hours.

Baroda is a village in Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 873 at the 2010 census. The village is within Baroda Township. The first white settlers started to arrive in the 1830s and began clearing the land, draining the swamps, and building homes and farms. Michael Houser is considered the founder of Baroda, bargaining with the Indiana and Lake Michigan Railway Company to establish a station on his land. Houser platted the village ca. 1890. Houser named the community after Baroda in Gujarat, India. The village incorporated in 1907. The Baroda Post Office opened on January 1, 1891.

Oronoko Charter Township is a charter township of Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 9,193 at the 2010 census.The village of Berrien Springs is the only incorporated municipality within the township. Much of the eastern portion of the township is considered to be part of the Berrien Springs urban area. The western portion is primarily agricultural. The township was organized on March 11, 1837, from a portion of Berrien Township. Part of the area was known as Feather Settlement starting in the 1830s.Oronoko initially included what is now Lake Township, which was organized in 1846. Originally, portions of both Oronoko and Berrien townships were on either side of the St. Joseph River, and at the time a large portion of the village of Berrien Springs was in Berrien Township, even though it was on the other side of the river from most of the township. In 1847, the river was made the dividing line between the townships.There are several accounts given for the name of the township. One is that it was named by Governor Stevens T. Mason after the Indian chief named "Oronoko". However, apart from this story, there is no record that there ever was such a chief. Another is that it is a variant spelling of Orinoco, the name of a South American river that was adopted with various spellings in other states besides Michigan: Oronoco, Minnesota, and Oronoque, Kansas. Others believe the township was named after the literary character Oroonoko, which was also derived from the South American river. A final possibility suggested by Vogel is that the name was taken from a variety of tobacco known as oronoco, orinoko, or oronooka.The Seventh-day Adventist Andrews University is located in the township.

Tension between the communities of Baroda and Bridgman led to Baroda Township being split off from Lake Township in 1923.The township is in the central portion of the county, with Lake Charter Township and Bridgman to the west, Lincoln Charter Township and Stevensville to the north and northwest, Royalton Township to the northeast, Oronoko Charter Township and Berrien Springs to the east, Buchanan Township to the southeast, and Weesaw Township to the south and southwest.

Lemon Creek is a stream in Berrien County, in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is a tributary to the St. Joseph River. Lemon Creek has the name of William Lemon, a pioneer citizen.

Legacy of Leadership is an outdoor 1998 sculpture by Alan Collins, installed on the Andrews University campus in Berrien Springs, Michigan, United States. The bronze sculptural group depicts J. N. Andrews and his children Charles and Mary departing from Boston Harbor in 1874 for missionary work overseas. It was unveiled in front of Pioneer Memorial Church in 1998.

Andrews University (Andrews) is a private Seventh-day Adventist university in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Founded in 1874 as Battle Creek College, it was the first higher education facility started by Seventh-day Adventists and is the flagship university of the Seventh-day Adventist school system, the world's second largest Christian school system.The university consists of eight schools or colleges, offering 130 undergraduate majors and 70 graduate majors. In addition, post-baccalaureate degrees are offered by all. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, and the Adventist Accrediting Association (AAA).

The Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary (SDATS) is the seminary located at Andrews University in Michigan, the Seventh-day Adventist Church's flagship university. Since 1970 the SDATS has been accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second largest Christian school system.
