Mandolin Melodies Museum (Japanese: マンドリンのおとのはくぶつかん) is a private museum in Nagoya. It is the only museum that specializes specifically in mandolins in the world.

Gokiso Station (御器所駅, Gokiso-eki) is an underground metro station located in Shōwa-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan operated by the Nagoya Municipal Subway's Tsurumai Line. The station is an interchange station between the Tsurumai Line and the Sakura-dōri Line and is located 11.9 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Tsurumai Line at Kami-Otai Station and 8.4 rail kilometers from the terminus of the Sakura-dōri Line at Nakamura Kuyakusho Station.

Kawanayama-chō (川名山町) is a neighbourhood in Shōwa-ku, Nagoya, central Japan. Kawana used to be a village and was later incorporated in the 1930s. The Buddhist temple of Kōjaku-in is located there. Kawana ware used to be produced there during the late Edo period. Also located there is the Chukyo University Senior High School and the Holy Spirit Hospital (聖霊病院, Seireibyōin). It is served by Kawana Station and Irinaka Station on the Nagoya Subway Tsurumai Line. The area of Yagoto is next to it.

St. Matthew's Cathedral, located in Showa-ku, Aichi, Japan, is the diocesan cathedral of the Diocese of Chubu of the Anglican Church in Japan, covering the parishes in the four prefectures of the Chubu Region (Central Japan): Aichi, Gifu, Nagano, and Niigata. St. Mary’s College, Nagoya (名古屋柳城短期大学, Nagoya ryūjyō tanki daigaku) is a private junior college in Showa-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, established in 1953. The predecessor of the school was founded in 1898, when Margaret Young (1855-1940), a missionary from Anglican Church of Canada, started a school for child care women.

Kōjaku-in (香積院) is a Buddhist temple in Kawanayama-chō, Shōwa-ku, Nagoya, Aichi prefecture in central Japan.The temple is associated with the production of Kawana ware during the Edo period.
