Obando, officially the Municipality of Obando (Tagalog: Bayan ng Obando), is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 59,978 people. It is 16 kilometers (9.9 mi) away from the Philippine capital Manila and is part of Manila's conurbation which reaches San Ildefonso in its northernmost part.

Colegio de San Pascual Baylon or the College of St. Paschal Baylon (CSPB, formerly Escuela Catolica and St. Pascual Institution (SPI) is a collegiate school at Obando, Bulacan in the Philippines. The school started as a catechetical school on February 11, 1913, through the efforts of Rev. Fr. Juan Dilag, then parish priest of Obando. It became a pre-elementary school, and elementary institution in 1936, added a secondary level in 1939 through 1943, then became a college. Formerly managed by the Sisters Religious of the Virgin Mary, it is currently managed by the Dominican Sisters of St. Joseph, a religious congregation in Bulacan. It was formally recognized by the government of the Philippines in 1921. Its name was derived from one of Obando, Bulacan’s patron saints.

The Parish of San Pascual Baylon and National Shrine of Nuestra Señora Inmaculada Concepcion de Salambao (Tagalog: Parokya ni San Pascual Baylon at Pambansang Dambana ng Nuestra Señora Inmaculada Concepcion de Salambao), also known as Obando Church, is a Roman Catholic church located in the municipality of Obando in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. Founded by Franciscan missionaries, under the Spanish Empire, it is the venue of the three-day Obando Fertility Rites held annually in honor of three patron saints, namely: St. Pascual Baylon, St. Claire of Assisi and Our Lady of Salambao, a celebration that was mentioned by Jose Rizal, the Philippine national hero, in the pages of his Spanish-language novel, the Noli Me Tangere (in Chapter 6: Captain Tiago). During the month of May, parishioners and other devotees perform the three-day Obando Dance (formerly known as the Kasilonawan, now locally called Sayaw sa Obando, literally "the dance in Obando") inside the church, followed by a street procession.

Dalandanan National High School is a secondary school in Valenzuela City. It is found in Dalandanan, Valenzuela City, Metro Manila.

Vicente P. Trinidad National High School, formerly Punturin National High School is a public general high school in Valenzuela City, Philippines. It is located at Sta. Lucia Village Phase V, Punturin, Valenzuela City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It was established in 2003. It is said to be Valenzuela City's School of Performing Arts. It was formerly known as Valenzuela National High School - Punturin Annex and Punturin National High School. Before 2003, residents of Punturin needed to go to the next barangay, Lawang Bato, to get high school education. Punturin residents and to-be high school students see this as a stumbling block because of the distance to their homes. Then principal of Punturin Elementary School, Dr. Darino Elizaga, envisioned converting elementary school annex into a high school. This was then located at Yardley street, Sta. Lucia Village Phase III. The lot was donated by the Brangay Council of Punturin during the time of Barangay Captain Nicanor S. Faustino to the Department of Education, with Punturin Elementary School as the beneficiary. He then discussed his plan to then Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Aquilina Rivas. A consensus was created that ease of access to education must be achieved, as mandated by RA 9155 or the Governance in Basic Education Act. Thus, Dr. Rivas backed the plan for an integrated school. In a move to discuss the matter, Dr. Elizaga conducted a consultation meeting with the school General Parents-Teachers Association president Domingo R. Mariano with the officers and students together with the parents of the 106 members of the graduating class of 2003. It resulted in the creation of a petition signed by the attendees calling for the creation of a high school. Supporting the cause, Punturin barangay council, headed by the late Punong Barangay Vicente “Benjie” P. Trinidad passed barangay resolution 09–03, series of 2003, requesting permission to the Department of Education Secretary Edilberto de Jesus to create a high school. All effort paid off when then Secretary de Jesus approved the request, creating Valenzuela National High School – Punturin annex. Dr. Elizaga was appointed officer in charge of the school annex. With Dr. Elizaga, six teachers were also assigned at Punturin annex namely: - Mrs. Lagrimas B. Bayle, - Mrs. Erlna B. Trono, - Ms. Senta Kathlyn G. Sierra-Cruz, - Ms. Sara A. Punzalan, - Ms. Jennifer M. Torio-Bayangat, and - Ms. Arlene G. Dela Cruz-Biñas. Aside from their teaching load, the pioneer teachers served as academic coordinator, guidance counselor, clinician, librarian, property custodian and canteen manager. On its opening in school year 2003–2004, 341 students enrolled in this humble school. In 2005, Mr. Filmore R. Caballero was designated as the officer-in-charge of Punturin annex, then promoted to school principal the following year. From Valenzuela National High School - Punturin annex, it became an independent Punturin National High School as enacted by then NCR regional director Teresita Domalanta on November 6, 2007. However, Kapitan Benjie, as he is known to all residents of Punturin, did not see the birth of a separate Punturin High School. On July 30, 2007, two gunmen approached him during the weekly flag ceremony at the barangay hall and shot him on his nape and face. He died on the spot. On his honor, Punturin National High School was renamed Vicente P. Trinidad National High School by virtue of RA 9659, passed by the Congress on July 17, 2009.

Dalandanan is one of the highly developed barangays in Valenzuela, Metro Manila, Philippines. It was named after the impressive line of dalandan trees that used to distinguish the area. Dalandanan houses the new Valenzuela City Astrodome, Valenzuela Emergency Hospital and Dialysis Center, and Valenzuela City Science High School. It boasts of different business industries like banking and finance (Bank of the Philippine Islands, BDO, Bank of Commerce, and Eastwest Bank), retail (Puregold Valenzuela, Wilcon Depot), pyrotechnic (Victory Fireworks), and biotech and pharmaceuticals (Scheele Laboratories). The Iglesia ni Cristo Locale of Malinta chapel is also located along MacArthur Highway. The now-defunct Manila-Dagupan Railway opened in 1892 and traversed the barrios of Marulas, Caruhatan, Malinta, Dalandanan and Malanday, with the station being in Dalandanan.

The San Lorenzo Ruiz General Hospital is a government hospital in the Philippines with an authorized bed capacity of two hundred (200). It is located in Malabon, Metro Manila.

Meycauayan, officially the City of Meycauayan (Filipino: Lungsod ng Meycauayan), is a 1st class component city in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 225,673 people.  It is one of the oldest towns in the province. The city is located 19 kilometers (12 mi) north of Manila and 26 kilometers (16 mi) south of Malolos City, the provincial capital city. It is bounded by the town of Marilao to the north, the two Metro Manila cities of Valenzuela to the south and Caloocan (North) to the east, and the town of Obando to the west. It encompasses an aggregate area of 22.1 square kilometers (8.5 sq mi), representing 1.17% of the total land area of the province of Bulacan.

The Artex Compound is a permanently flooded residential area in Malabon, Philippines. The area has been referred to, often facetiously, as the "Venice of Malabon" or the "Venice of the Philippines" due to its partially submerged structures, makeshift stilt houses, and the use of rowboats for transportation between houses.Formerly a housing compound built for workers of a textile mill, around 200-250 families continue to live within the Artex Compound despite being permanently flooded since 2004. The compound is also the subject of a long-running labor and ownership dispute between the residents and the former owners of the textile mill. It has since become an alternative tourism site frequented by street photographers, students, researchers, journalists, documentarists, and filmmakers.

Children of Mary Immaculate College (CMIC) is a private, non–sectarian institution located at 22 Maysan Road, Malinta, Valenzuela City, Philippines. CMIC was founded by Eleanor de Leon-Llenado.

Malinta National High School (transl: Mataas na Paaralang Pambansa ng Malinta) is a school established in 1997 in Valenzuela City. The Junior High School branch is Also located at A. Pablo St. along with Malinta Elementary School , ValMaSci and ValACE

Maysan Road is one of the main east–west thoroughfares of Valenzuela, Philippines. It is a narrow street with only one lane in each direction making it one of the most congested streets in northern Metro Manila. It runs for approximately 4.5 kilometers (2.8 mi) from MacArthur Highway in barangay Malinta, past the North Luzon Expressway intersection, into North Caloocan. The road connects the central Valenzuela barangays of Malinta, Maysan, Paso de Blas, and Bagbaguin. It was the main access road for vehicles going to Valenzuela and the Manila North Harbor from the North Luzon Expressway prior to the construction of NLEX Segment 9 (NLEX Karuhatan Link), which parallels it to the south.
