Redstone is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located near the north edge of the city, it is bounded by Métis Trail N.E. to the west, Stoney Trail to the north, 60 Street N.E. to the east, and 128 Ave N.E., the Skyview Ranch community to the south.Redstone is located within Calgary City Council's Ward 5.

Cityscape is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is bounded by Métis Trail to the west, Country Hills Boulevard to the north, the future 60 Street NE extension to the east, and the future Airport Trail NE (96 Avenue NE) extension to the south. Country Hills Boulevard becomes Highway 564 as it exits Calgary to the east. Cityscape is located within Calgary City Council's Ward 3.

Cornerstone is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located near the north edge of the city, it is bounded by the Skyview Ranch and Redstone communities to the west, Stoney Trail NE to the north, Calgary, Cityscape Community to the south, and Cornerstone Close Northeast Road to the east.The Cornerstone Community is master-planned by Walton Development and Management.Cornerstone is located within Calgary City Council's Ward 5.In 2018, Walton Development and Management partnered with Anthem United to manage the development. The day-to-day duties were formally transferred as of March 28, 2018.

Calgary-Bhullar-McCall is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Canada. It was created in 1971, and was named after Frederick McCall and the McCall Industrial Park. As of the 2010 redistricting, the industrial park is no longer in the boundaries. In December 2021, a bill was passed renaming the constituency to Calgary-Bhullar-McCall in remembrance of late MLA Manmeet Bhullar. The district includes the neighbourhoods of Castleridge, Falconridge, Martindale, Saddleridge, and Skyview Ranch, and is noted for its high levels of ethnic diversity.

Saddle Ridge is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located at the northeastern edge of the city, and it is bounded to the north by Airport Trail NE, to the east by Stoney Trail NE (Highway 201), to the south by 80 Avenue NE and to the west by Métis Trail. The Saddle Ridge Industrial Area and Calgary International Airport are located west of the neighbourhood. The Saddletowne Ctrain was built in 2012, and is the end of line for Northeast. The Ctrain station is located across a plaza that serves many South Asian restaurants as well as Nelson Mandela High School, and YMCA. Saddle Ridge is the largest neighbourhood for its Indian, Pakistani, Punjabi, and small Bengali community. The Bilal Islamic Centre was recently opened up in 2021, and has attracted many Muslims in the Northeast. The community initially consisted of acreages, with an active community association since the 1970s; intended urbanization was supposed to begin in the 1990s, however, due to drainage, it was pushed to the 2000s. In the mid 2000s, urbanization of the region began and, today, Saddle Ridge primarily refers to the urban community that has developed around the commercial hub formed by Saddletowne Circle, although a number of acreages remain. The western portion of the area is called Saddle Ridge Industrial and has started its construction in late 2018. Savanna, a division of the neighbourhood, is currently being built as part of the final expansion to Saddleridge for its full urban completion. Beside Savanna and 68th Street will be the Savanna Bazaar, an outdoor commercial market place that serves South Asian and Southeast Asian needs and food. Construction of Savanna began in 2017 and is still ongoing, while the first phase of the Savanna Bazaar is expected for completion in summer 2019. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 5 councillor.

Saddletowne station is a CTrain light rail station in on the Northeast Line (Route 202) in Saddle Ridge Calgary, Alberta. Opened on August 27, 2012, as part of a 2.9-km extension.It is the current terminus of the N.E. line and is located in the northwest corner of Saddletowne Circle N.E., a large roundabout where the Saddleridge Town Centre a commercial and activity centre, with planned medium-density residential development and community facilities. The station has a Park and Ride with a 141-stall capacity. The station is a center-loading, walk-on island platform. Construction on the extension started in the spring of 2010 and completed, for its grand opening block party, on August 25, 2012. The extension was delayed by almost one year, as it was initially planned to open in late 2011. In its first year of service, Saddletowne served an average of 8,730 boardings per day.

Nelson Mandela High School is a high school in the city of Calgary. It accommodates approximately 1800 students in grades 10–12. The school is part of the Calgary Board of Education's public school system.

Martindale is a residential neighbourhood in the northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the north by 80 Avenue NE, to the east by Falconridge Boulevard, to the south by 64 Avenue NE and to the west by Métis Trail. The Martindale LRT station opened in August 2012. The area was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1961 and Martindale was established in 1983. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 5 councillor.

Martindale is a CTrain light rail station in Martindale, Calgary, Alberta. It serves the Northeast Line (Route 202). It opened August 27, 2012.The station was constructed as part of a 2.9-kilometre extension of the Northeast line from McKnight–Westwinds station to Saddletowne station. It is located in a reserved right-of-way within its community, with the side-loading platforms to be staggered west and east of Martindale Boulevard. Due to its location in a residential area primarily serving local residents, there are no park-and-ride lots at the station nor a bus terminal, unlike most other CTrain stations in Calgary. Also, because of its location, CTrain speeds are reduced to 50 km/h (30 mph) in the general area. In its first year of service, Martindale served an average of 2,400 boardings per day. The opening of the Northeast extension was delayed by almost one year as the extension was originally planned to be open in late 2011.

Century Downs Racetrack and Casino is a casino and horse racing track near Calgary. It is one of two "A-level" horse racing venues in the province of Alberta and brought live horse racing back to the Calgary area for the first time since June 15, 2008. Century Downs offers live Standardbred races on weekends and holidays throughout the months of April to November. The casino features 550 slot machines, seven VLTs, and an off-track betting area which simulcasts both Standardbred and Thoroughbred races from around the world. Dining facilities include a lounge and the Mid City Grill restaurant. Century Downs first opened on April 1, 2015. Its first day of Standardbred racing was on April 25, 2015.On September 6, 2023, it was one of the assets of Century Casinos acquired by Vici Properties, in a deal valued at C$222 million.

It is located at the eastern edge of the city, and it is bounded to the north by Taradale Drive, to the east by 68 Street E, to the south by 64 Avenue N and to the west by Falconridge Boulevard. The land was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1961, and Taradale was established in 1984. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor.

New Horizon Mall is a modern shopping mall in the Calgary Metropolitan Region located inside Balzac, a locality of Rocky View County, Alberta. The mall features a retail floor space of approximately 30,000 m2 (320,000 square feet), and features a flea market gimmick where stores inside the mall are smaller; causing the mid-sized mall to have the second most stores inside a mall in Canada at over 500 store locations. The mall opened its doors on May 1, 2018, As of February 2021, over 100 had opened for business. The grand opening was scheduled for October 27, 2018, however on September 21, 2018, the opening was pushed to 2019. It was modeled after the Pacific Mall in Markham, Ontario.
