Bättlihorn

Grengiols (Swiss Standard German pronunciation: [ˈɡrɛŋi̯ːɔls]) is a municipality in the district of Raron in the canton of Valais in Switzerland.

Bettmeralp Talstation railway station (German: Bahnhof Bettmeralp Talstation) is a railway station in the municipality of Grengiols, in the Swiss canton of Valais. It is an intermediate stop on the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) metre gauge Furka Oberalp line of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn and is served by local trains only. The station is adjacent to the valley station (Talstation) of the cable car to Bettmeralp. Until the December 2024 timetable change, the station was named Betten Talstation.

Ganter Bridge is a multi-span reinforced-concrete road bridge that is the second longest spanning bridge in Switzerland after Poya Bridge. It spans the Ganter River valley and is located along the Simplon Pass road about 10 km (6 mi) south of Brig in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. It was designed by renowned Swiss civil engineer Christian Menn and completed in 1980. It is notable for its innovative design and its stylish geometric profile in its spectacular Alpine setting.

Rosswald is a car-free village in the Swiss Alps, located in the canton of Valais. It lies in the eastern part of the canton, in the Simplon region, at an altitude of 1,819 metres. The village sits on a sunny terrace overlooking the Rhone valley, above Ried-Brig. The village is accessible via a cable car from the latter town. Rosswald is a winter sports resort and includes a small ski area.
